So I think the only thing I like more than reading SPN fan fiction is freaking out over SPN fan fiction with like-minded individuals. rofl However, we all know that some fan fiction can have... adult elements... ninja and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by talking about those things here. Not that I don't read gen fic as well Oh who am I kidding. whee
Bear in mind Dean/Cas is my OTP, but I also enjoy Dean/Benny and many smaller ships as well. I adore au's, and am not really into RPF's.

What ships do you usually read? Got any favourite fics? I like Destiel, Casifer, Castiel/Balthazar, Anything with Balthazar really. Sabriel is all right. I am not a fan of Wincest at all. So if you could avoid that biggrin that would be awesome. OH and anything with Samandriel. I've some Samandriel/Adam stuff. I dig that. I remember when Tentacles came out it sure sounded silly, but so many people on tumblr were like No, really it's better than it sounds and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. (I sort of really like octopuses, too, so that helps). I don't read as many canon verse fics as AU's for some reason so it's like my token favourite canon verse fic. Although I do love me some post-season 8/bunker fics. Those are among my favourite of the canon verse fics, owing in no small part to how wonderful human!Cas is. I won't even talk about all the missed opportunities they let slide on that one.I don't know if I've seen that art for it... link me? 300 Things was probably the first longer Destiel fic I ever really read, so it holds a special place in my heart. 3nodding Helps that it's just super lovely good. It's long, and epic, and intense, and crazy hot, and yes, I highly highly recommend. Another fave I forgot about is Ridiculous Untitled Cuddling Fluff. Every Destiel shipper needs to read this. It's Dean Smith/endverse!Cas, basically.

Omigosh that is way too cute! *squee* whee I remember a while back (while making a decision for a fic I'm writing with a friend) thinking that bottom!Dean was both a rarity *and* a delight. Now I find it's still delightful, but actually quite quite common. I dunno. Mmm, buttsex. I'll check out that new one you just recced, it doesn't look too long. I'm trying to think of other faves. PWP: Pie Without Plot was good, as was 12 Steps. I'm also crazy enjoying Rock'n'Roll Queer Bar, which is a series in progress. Do you read any other ships?

I've got a couple long fics on the go I want to finish off, and then I'd like to read that soon. I also read that other one, "To Draw a Map of a Child's Mind" and it was good! A little meandering for me, but then I was sort of drunk when I read it. Loved the premise, though. 3nodding How do you feel about fics with crazy angst?

When I first started reading fic I thought I wasn't going to be into AUs, but they've sort of taken hold, somehow. sweatdrop There's a couple longer canon verse fics I've been meaning to read, but haven't happened yet. xp
