The Royal Stoneheart family can be traced back to antiquity itself, the leading royals of gorgon society having a hand in many influential events on both sides of the veil for as long as the magical world has been keeping such records. For the most part, their internal affairs aren't well known, but occasionally something major happens, and tends to shake up both worlds...

Name: Maera Stoneheart

Title: Queen Medusa of the Gorgon Race

Bio: Until very recently, Maera was the 16th Medusa of the Gorgon race, leader of one of the largest intelligence units on either side of the veil, and until a few minutes after the coup that saw her throne taken from her, was the head of one of the most highly-acclaimed mercenary operations anywhere in either world. That being said, as it currently stands, she is a prisoner, locked away in a tower far from her homeland, by two of her own progeny! Her eldest daughter spearheads the rebellion, while her son acts as acting regent. A mask was put over her face to ensure she would have no means of escaping; her powers are currently nullified, and she can only wait patiently and hope those still loyal to the crown are planning to return her to her rightful place on the throne.

Title: Royal Gorgon Ambassador

Bio: The current ambassador for the Gorgon race, and the one who staged the coup against her mother in the first place. Rhea, as the oldest of the three, is used to getting her say in situations involving her siblings, and is always looking for an opportunity to move ahead, whether it be in status, power, or position. Her father was an elf.
