The White Queen's Castle is a lovely place to behold, the very picture of elegance. Golden edged doors line the hallway you pass down through, so many doors it becomes hard to keep track. In fact, things have started to seem a little more familiar as you pass even more doors...
Didn't you see that same door not five moments ago?
- Find your way out of the room! - You can only complete this quest ONCE. If you fail try again tomorrow!
Difficulty level: Easy
It seems you've taken a wrong turn and lost your way; in fact, you seem to now be in a circular room that consists of exactly ten doors, one of which leads back out into the hallway. Opening the right door is essential, but what happens when you pick the wrong one..?
OOC: AROUND AND AROUND
In order to get out of the room, you must pick the right door. Roll 1d8 and have your character react accordingly to what lays behind each door. Keep rolling until you reach the correct door.
** Beyond each wrong door is simply white. You can't see anything, but you might be able to feel something... **
- DOOR 1: It is cold behind this door. You suddenly feel as if you are in the midst of an icy snowstorm, though there is no snow or ice to be seen. - DOOR 2: It is hot behind this door. You feel as though you are traipsing through the most sweltering of jungles, humid and sticky and vastly uncomfortable. - DOOR 3: It is arid behind this door. You are close! Instead of opening another door, this door leads directly to [ DOOR 4 ] (see below, do not roll dice and just move to door 4 prompt) - DOOR 4: You found the exit open behind this door! You have found the exit, congratulations! - DOOR 5: It is sad behind this door. It just feels like normal temperatures, but for some reason you get oddly depressed... - DOOR 6: It is quiet behind this door. You feel ill at ease, anxious, as though something terrible is going to happen. - DOOR 7: It is loud behind this door. You can hardly hear a thing over the cacophony of noise, but at least it sounds pleasant. - DOOR 8: It is happy behind this door. Again, you can't see anything, but you feel strangely at ease with yourself and you remember some good memories.
Quest Complete Reward: Once back out in the hallway, you find a small box sitting just outside the door with something inside of it! You can remember the effects of the rooms, but the emotions invoked do not last more than a few seconds after closing the door.
This place was undeniably beautiful, but also so painfully easy to get lost in. The girl found herself grimacing as she glanced left and right, her brows creasing as she took in all the doors. Goodness, which was the right one? She had absolutely no idea, and with no other leads, it appeared that she had no choice but to pick one at random.
Moving up to one of the doors, she swung it open and stepped in, squinting when she was immediately met by nothing but endless white. Lifting a hand to shield her eyes, she attempted to see if there was something here, but...nothing.
At least, she didn't see anything, but a slow unease began to settle in her chest, gripping her heart and suddenly making it a little hard to breath. Backing out quickly, she shut the door again with wide eyes.
...No. Not that one.

This time, the door that she picked gave off a different feeling. Although she still saw nothing but white, she somehow felt...heavier, a lump forming in her throat as she felt a familiar wave of sorrow wash over her.
She left even quicker this time.

While the other doors had been emotionally distressing, this one just sucked. She found herself immediately being hit by a wave of heal, cringing as she began to sweat. There was nothing more unpleasant to the girl than a sweltering, humid place, and so this was pretty horrible to say the least.
By the time she stepped out, she was uncomfortable sticky and gross.

On the bright side she stopped sweating.
On the not so bright side, it was so close that she felt like she was going to freeze to death. She couldn't see any sort of snow or ice, but she could feel it pelting her, an invisible wind whipping her hair this way and that. Whereas she had been gross and sticky a few minutes ago, the girl could hardly even feel her body anymore as her extremities went numb.
Yup, she was ducking outta there too.

She must have lost her bearings somehow, because she went right back into the sad door. It actually wouldn't have been so bad compared to the hot and cold doors...had it not replaced her feeling of relief with sadness.
She left as soon as she felt the familiar feeling settle in.

At first, the girl found herself cringing upon entering this particular door...but then she realized it didn't really sound all that bad. At least, it sounded quite nice, it was just incredibly loud.
...Too loud, really.

Now this was a new door. She wrinkled her nose a little upon entering, clearly upset by how dry the air felt here but--was that...another door? Moving towards it warily, she stepped through and--
--Finally found herself at the exit. Phew! She'd definitely be more careful when it came to wandering this place next time.

Had that been Nightbloom, just now? Robert had nowhere else in particular to be, so he followed what he thought was her, into a room filled with doors. She wasn't there anymore, and the door behind him was.. confusing. Everything was white, and he couldn't see past any of the doors.
Had he just trapped himself in a single room forever?
Robert moved to pick one door, and by some miracle of modern science, it was the right door. He walked right out, safe and sound! But not before picking up some loot.. and feeling a lot stronger for it.
The question was, whatever had happened to Nightbloom?!

the0racle had no idea how this had happened, but one door seemed to be just like the other, and she had gotten herself terribly lost within the Queen's hallway. Pursing her lips, she examined a few doors, trying to determine which one she had just come out of and also trying to determine which one she should go through next. In the end, she picked a door entirely at random and was greeted by a cacophony of noise. It wasn't unpleasant, it was just really loud, and the0racle shut the door nearly as soon as she had opened it. Well, there was no way she was going in there.

She should really be keeping track of which doors she went through, but again she opened another one at random and walked inside, suddenly feeling happy. No memories floated through her head, she simply felt at peace and good. It was a room she could probably stay in forever, just for that content feeling. But, after a while she reluctantly exited the room to continue on with her task of getting out of here.

The next room was inexplicably cold, and the0racle wasn't used to such a chill. She shivered all the way out of the room, and miraculously warmed up the moment she left it behind.
