The partners steadily attacked, Phoenix taking hard to defend and heal to keep herself in good condition. The sight of it would likely surprise a few people, who considered her entirely reckless.

The monster candy tried to break through her awesome defense but Phoenix and Mr. Tum Tums were on it, again attacking, healing and defending smoothly as they fought.

The candy turned and Phoenix noticed a person-sized hole had appeared in its side. Grinning fiercely, she signaled Mr. Tum Tums and then jumped inside the giant evil sweet. Moments later the creature cracked and then burst, the gryphon issuing a battle cry from inside the rubble.
As her theme music played, a stray wind picked up her jacket, making it flare dramatically.
