While teaching I am professional and overly polite, and perhaps a bit strict though with a smile but out of class at Hogwarts I tend to be warm and protective of people and am told I am quite caring of others. Though I do like to be highly organized I love helping others more and have an open door policy (though it isn't unlikely you won't find me wondering the school grounds on a nice day). In general though, I am told I have a slightly warped sense of humor (or so my sister likes to claim)

Background Information: Chrissy considers her life story fairly boring. Her parents were both purebloods from middle income families that met at Salem Institue for Witchcraft and Wizardry. The relationship did get complicated when not long after her father's graduation from Salem and him joining the American Werewolf Division was bitten by a werewolf. However, neither of her parents saw that as a reason to break up and merely chose to move to a small muggle town in Northern Georgia to avoid the stigma connected with her father's condition. There her mother did tarot readings (which was more of pure entertainment than of anything of true accuracy) and her father built a business of owning a health food store and flower shop. It was there where both her and her sister, two years her junior, were born. Both attended the Rebecca Riddle Hall in Florida and then went on to attend the Salem Institute.
The Summer of 2018, due to an accident involving her father using inaccurately brewed Wolfsbane Potion, he end up biting and infecting his youngest daughter, Sophie Dechering. That summer, Tucker Peter Dechering, died leaving his two daughters and wife to pick up the pieces that followed. The following school year, Chrissy chose to focus far more on her academics before and graduated with relatively high marks and took on a career as a healer in a New England area wizarding hospital before jumping at the opportunity to teach healing as a professor at the esteemed Hogwarts starting the 2025-2026 school year.
Christina decided to drag her little sister with her to the United Kingdom, as Sophie was living quietly back home in Georgia after graduating from Salem a few years prior. Chrissy end up purchasing a house with several acres of land outside of Hogsmeade with all of her savings and taking out a substantial loan. There Chrissy lives with her sister during the summers and her sister lives throughout the year.
Life in the United Kingdom so far: Chrissy settled into her professorship quite well, finding teaching generally to be a joy, and even in her first year being awarded professor of the year. During that time she began to start spending time with a fellow Professor, Bréanainn Cian Conri, who teaches the upper levels of Charms. Meanwhile, her sister Sophie had settled into life in England and began working at a grocery store-the Magic Neep-in Hogsmeade that was owned by fellow American (and Southerner, though he is from Tennessee), Kenneth Holt. It was over the next year of her teaching she began more often spending time with Bréanainn Conri, and early in her third year of teaching at Hogwarts became romantically involved (though, Chrissy insisted on keeping it casual).
Meanwhile, during the summer of 2027, after Chrissy's second year of teaching at Hogwarts, a cousin from her father's side arrived on her and her sister's doorstep asking for a place to stay while she settled into life in the United Kingdom. This cousin was Vivienne Haylee Fleury, who went as far as to threaten to publicize the fact that their father had been a werewolf. In the end, Sophie informed Vivienne (ViVi or Vi) that Sophie was actually a werewolf so ViVi might not want to stay with them anyways. This was of course scoffed at by ViVi who moved in and currently lives in the attic space of the Dechering home outside of Hogsmeade.
Late during the summer of 2028, Chrissy became unexpectedly (and definitely unplanned) pregnant. She realized the pregnancy at the start of the 2028-2029 school year when her sister (who had taken up a job as the Arithmancy Professor at the school) asked when Chrissy would tell Bréanainn about the fact he was to be a father. It was eventually settled upon by Bréanainn and Chrissy that they would together figure out taking care of the child (which later they found out was in fact two). The plan is that over the summer the twins will stay with their parents while during the school year that Bréanainn and Chrissy are teaching at Hogwarts the children go to the States to stay with their maternal grandmother in Georgia.
Becoming a mother of two: The twins were born right before the summer officially started for hogwarts (at least a month before their birth she had to be placed on bed-rest and she took time off till the year ended). The birth went "well" according to the healer in charge that was with her in Hogsmeade, though, she'd like to point out it hurt like the Dickens. She was pretty sure she'd have to crucio Bréanainn for him to appreciate childbirth and the pain. Regardless, at least he didn't bail and was there. Though, Chrissy is still suspicious of how calm he had seemed through the whole pregnancy and afterwards with the birth of the two-even with the fact that less than two hours after being born Quinn decided to go from brunette to blonde to match his sister and then changed his hair to green once before going back to brunette. Needless to say, Chrissy's mother will have her hands full once the summer is over trying to control that considering she lives in a muggle community.
During the summer Bréanainn and Chrissy plan to spend as much time as possible with the kids till they are born. In the meantime, Chrissy's sister, has been giving a pretty large space between them since the children are born and Chrissy suspects spending a great deal of time in a certain plant shop in Hogsmeade.
