Born into a family of average wealth and income, Aiden never believed that anything outstanding would ever happen in his life time. Unlike typical jocks, Aiden held a cute face, and a mind to handle even the most difficult of subjects when it came to his school work. But, what he could never do was keep actual friends by his side. Those he had believed to actually be his friends were merely using him as a free ticket into being popular. Even upon figuring out that he was being used, Aiden proceeded with life as though nothing had changed, and so, he continued to gain and lose fake friends. This all continued until his second year in high school. During the beginning of his Sophmore year, he met a male by the name of Matthew, and while Matthew was a little weird, he was the first person that Aiden could actually consider a friend. The more time he spent at Matthew's side, the less he spent at those who had used him countless times, and in turn, the more he had begun to anger them. Consistent rumors were spread about the two males, but when nothing worked, things took a turn for the worst.
After heading home one night after baseball practice, Aiden got a phone call expressing that Matthew had been beaten and found outside the school bleeding. Knowing who was responsible, Aiden attempted to sever connections with Matthew, but the male was persistent and refused to lose his friend over a couple of classmates being jealous. When avoiding Matthew did not work, their classmates waited until the night of their championship baseball game. Once they had won and began to celebrate, Aiden had been jumped behind the stadium itself before being beaten upon. When they had finished, their satisfied expressions dropped when it seemed like Aiden had stopped breathing completely, and in fear, ran off leaving him to die in the street. Thankfully the kindness of a stranger, by the name of Stefan Salvatore, saved Aiden's life by giving him some of his blood just moments before his death. Upon opening his eyes once more, everything was different. The world had changed around him and before he could do anything, a bottle filled with a red substance was given to him alongside a piece of paper with an address before the male left Aiden alone. Returning home with the substance and the paper, he remained in his room for a week until leaving his louse late one night.
Finding him on the street, his classmates returned after discovering that he was alright in order to try and finish what they had started, but after breaking three of their arms, they took off running causing him to return home. At home, fangs had begun to grow and in a fit of both rage and hunger, he was prepared to consume his family before his eyes fell on the bottle of red substance in his room. Without thinking, he downed the entire bottle before wiping his mouth satisfied. The smell of blood then caused him to go into a feeding frenzy, but thankfully, he had left his house via the window before taking to the city itself. Various unlucky people had fallen victim to Aiden's insatiable need to feed, and before he could cause any more damage to his victims, the same male from before had returned in order to stop his rampage. He was taken to the Salvatore home before being taught how to control his vampiric urges as well as how to control the rest of his abilities. The first, being his compulsions. Returning to school with a Daywalking Ring, he immediately compelled those who had attacked them to strip and run around the school naked before having them forget they ever knew him. Since then, he has been trying to control his new life while often going to find Stefan if things get to out of control.
