xxxxxPast Background Information: Sophie considers her life story fairly boring. Her parents were both purebloods from middle income families that had met at Salem Institute for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Their relationship grew a bit more complicated after her father had joined the werewolf division and was bit and infected as a werewolf. However, neither of her parents saw that as a reason to break up and just chose to move into a small Muggle town in Northern Georgia. There her mother did tarot readings (which was mostly a joke or scam, depending on how much you bought into it) and her father owned a health food store and flower shop. Both her older sister, Christina, and she was born in Georgia after their parents had moved to there. She followed the traditional education system of America, first attending pre-wiz school and then attending Salem.
Things were quite ordinary in many ways for her and her family, until the summer Sophie was 16. It was a normal thing for her and her family at this point that her father was a werewolf and her father generally just ordered Wolfsbane regularly from a potioneer or made his own Wolfsbane. However, during that summer, when Sophie spotted her father injured she had gone to him to help, while he was in his wolf form, assuming the wolfsbane was working like usual; however, due to what is only assumed a slight brewing error, Tucker Dechering snapped and end up biting Sophie. Once Tucker Dechering returned to his human form the next day he decided he could not face the guilt of the issue and chose to take his own life leaving Sophie entirely as a lone werewolf with no pack affiliation.
Sophie went on to complete her education at Salem, but Sophie always thought the incident made her sister more serious and fussy. Christina thought it was her duty as an older sister to look over Sophie. Sophie once she graduated from Salem returned to her hometown to help her mother run their family business. That continued until 2025 when Christina accepted a job as a healing professor at Hogwarts and decided to drag Sophie along with her. Christina purchased a house on several wooded acres outside of Hogsmeade, where Sophie now works.

She does have a temper but rarely it is towards people. Generally she has a fairly good sense of humor towards things; however, if someone crosses her she carefully crafts her revenge and lashes out with her full fury ready to leave her mark carved into them, she is very much the type never to forgive if pushed too far and always wants the last word in an argument. xxxxxPast Background Information: Vivienne Haylee Fleury was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Jean Fleury a Québécois father and an American mother (née Amy Nicole Dechering). Both were pureblood wizards and she grew up with a fairly happy childhood, with both sets of grandparents, her mother's parents in California and her father's in Quebec. Vivienne grew up speaking French as she was born in Quebec and identifies herself as Québécoise. She went through school and attended the Canadian Magic Academy with decent scores in any of the classes that interested her and went on to work in the legal office of the Canadian Ministry of Magic, mostly as a translator from French to English and English to French in various court hearings.
During her last two years of schooling she started dating a peer from a small town in Quebec. When the two graduated they moved to an apartment together in Montreal. He began playing quidditch professionally for the Canadians and thus was only home periodically. By all means things were going quite well between the young couple, despite being long distance, until the first tabloid article hit in late 2026 about an affair. And then in 2027 another one and then finally another one in the early spring of 2027.
Fed up, Vivienne did what she considered any respectable woman would-she disappeared leaving no forwarding address and a notice that she had sold an interview to a tabloid on her break-up via her interview to the tabloids, which she so kindly provided in French and English. After which, she took the money she earned from the tabloid to hit the road on a road trip that led her in the end to finding her mother's brother's widow in Georgia where after some investigating discovered why no one mentioned her late uncle-he had been a werewolf and had closed contact with his family, though, he went on to have two daughters. Finding out her two cousins were living in the U.K.-one actually being a Hogwarts professor, Vivienne hunted down the two and showed up on the doorstep of the home of Christina and Sophie Dechering outside of Hogsmeade the summer of 2027 and declared she would let everyone know that their secret that their father was a werewolf which wouldn't look good unless they let her stay for the time being.
What she didn't realize was that Sophie was also a werewolf and the Dechering Sister's weren't all that concerned about Vivienne's threats and decided the girl was going through a tough time-especially after contacting their mother and then Vivienne's parents and decided it was more of an act of Christian charity to let the girl in and decided to inform the girl a few days into her stay about the fact Sophie was a werewolf and their cousin was free to leave if she wanted, but Vivienne decided it wasn't a big deal and end up staying, figuring she liked the house and it wasn't that big of a deal to her about Sophie being a werewolf and the only reason she had made the threat in the first place was she wanted somewhere already set up to stay until she got her feet firmly planted on a new start becoming everything that she had not been out of wanting to fit everyone's expectations but to follow a more exciting life. And pursuing her interest in spirits which she had initially put on hold to take a job with more normal hours as she figured she would be settling down after a few years with the boyfriend she lived with before they broke up.
