Meat completely overestedmated his ability to do anything against the evil cake. Both his initial attacks missed completely - he ended up mangaing to summon his March Hare but that was abou tthe best he could do before he was completely slammed by the creature. This one looked set to be another tough foe ahead. "Be careful..." She warned, using a heal on her before she charged on ahead with her March Hare mini to tackle the evil cake.

Once he recovered from his shaky start - Meat was able to gain the wherewithal to activate one of his lesser defense spells and place it on SugarPuss, ensuring that she would be able to fight without completely getting hit by the Cake. His March Hare continued to attack as was it's prerogative - and he was quite thankful that the mini served him so well. She actually smiled when he moved in to take the heat of the creature's attack off her, nodding approvingly at him as she charged the evil cake yet again to slash at it with her claws.

Things were not looking good for Meat - he was really getting hammered by the mob and he ended up having to burn one of his own heals just to keep from sinking past 50%. He kept his defensive wall up on SugarPuss - not wanting to remove her ability to strike the enemy unhindered. His March Hare continued it's constant strikes against the enemy - but would it be enough? SugarPuss' clutch heal helped Meat soak the next incoming hit - but it was a zero sum victory as it brought him right back to the cusp of 50%. But as before, Meat wasn't about to back down just because he was on the verge of hitting critical. He would stick around until he dropped - he refused to let anything prevent him from protecting SugarPuss. He set up another barrier spell for her, while his March Hare continued to attack their target. The sight of WalkingMeatShield doing everything he could to protect her from the evil cake's attacks spurred SugarPuss to keep up her attacks to try to bring it down.

Meat wasn't pleased that his HP dropped below 50% - even with his small self heal trying to make up for the damage inflicted, - however, he would continue on and keep fighting to ensure that SugarPuss wouldn't feel the sting of the cake - or at least as much as he could. He summoned a weaker shield around her than usual - but that might be due to a lack of concentration than anything else. His March Hare continued its constant attack against the mob. Meat was feeling the sting from the boss - but he would keep it up until either he fell or the boss did. He managed a weak heal on himself but it was barely enough to qualify. He winced a bit as he tried to draw the power into an attack that might keep it distracted, unable to focus on defense for the moment.
