Temple of the Twin Sisters

Metaplot

A royal decree had fallen across Equestria. The royal guards had come to every city, announcing the event to come. The request was that any and every able-bodied pony to report to Canterlot to aid in an important matter regarding the peace of Equestria and its allies. The train rides would be paid for by the royal estate, and all ponies were to arrive at noon.

As the day approached the train stations and their employees clocked in overtime. The gardens and the square outside of the castle walls would be filled with ponies. As the sun reached the middle of the sky Princess Luna and Celestia would make their way to the balcony.

A hush fell over the crowd as she tipped her chin up, speaking out in a loud voice that would echo across the square. "Citizens of Equestria! Your princesses thank you for your duty and loyalty to our kingdom. By appearing here you have shown once again the strength and dedication of our dear kingdom."

With a small pause Celestia waited for the arrival of two more princesses. The slender figures were adorned with scales, two horns, and a tufted tail unlike anything Equestria had ever seen. "Today we have with us two Princesses from across the sea. They've come to Luna and I seeking council and assistance, as their home is threatened. Our allies have helped us time and again throughout my time as ruler, and without their assistance Equestria would not be what it is today. I ask that you please listen to them, and respect them as you would respect me." With a bow of her head she stepped back, allowing for the two to step forward and speak into the crowd.

The jade princess stood beside her sister with a worried expression on her face as Celestia spoke to the inhabitants of her kingdom. From time to time she'd glance to her golden sister, eyes narrowed with a scrupulous expression replacing the worried one. Unlike Celestia and Luna, the two Kirin were twins and shared an incredible bond. The ponies in their kingdom would whisper that they could communicate telepathically to each other due to their birth, but if it were true, the sisters never let on.

Finally Celestia moved away from the front of the gathered ponies. The jade princess lifted her head and moved to take her place, keeping her ears back in the respectful way of her kingdom when addressing important or new ponies. Once she reached the speaking spot she lowered her head in a bow by way of greeting.

"We thank you, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, as well as all of you who have gathered here today," she said in a loud, clear voice while lifting her head once more. "I am Princess Yu of the The Mă Empire, and this is my sister, Princess Jin." She motioned over her shoulder with her head, casting a worried glance to the golden princess behind her. By the time she looked back over the gathered ponies, her face was once again impassive and stoic.

"We come with hopeful tidings to Equestria, to seek out those who may help solve our ongoing problem. There is none in our Empire that can assist us," she continued, her green eyes panning over the crowd as if already searching for the ponies that might be able to help her. Back in their home land many had tried to help, but some darker magic than either sister could combat prohibited any from being chosen for the task. Equestria was full of kind and generous ponies, though, and Yu was hopeful they'd find who they were looking for here.

"There is a dark force that resides over my sister," Yu continued, her long mane swaying in the light breeze, the jade beads at the end tapping against her slim legs. "An unknown curse plagues her dreams and keeps her awake all through the night. As the one who looks over and takes care of the prosperity of our Empire, the crops and land as a whole are beginning to suffer. We need to end this dark magic before the problem becomes too much for us to bare."

There was only so much they could do, after all, should their Empire fall. The dark magic could come to these lands as well. The only option was to snuff it out before it had a chance to spread.

"That is where you come in," Yu continued, looking down at the ponies once more. "We are hopeful that some of you that are gathered today will be able to assist us in eradicating this evil from our home. If you are chosen and you are willing to help, you shall have the endless gratitude and thanks of myself, Princess Jin, and the entire Mă Empire.

There was a heavy sense of dread over the golden princess, her eyes bore an expression of fatigue as she looked over the crowd, blinking a few extra times here and there as her sluggish eyes would blurr. She tried to lift her chin a little higher and stand a little straighter each time her sister's gaze moved towards her, but there were only so many yawns she could bite back before she'd have to cover her mouth with her hoof and give in to the sleepy feelings tugging at her throat.

As Celestia stepped back she followed her sisters steps towards the head of the balcony. There were so many ponies, of so many kinds... she couldn't help but smile a little as she thought of what so many different types of pony could bring to their lands. They had only come over a hooffull of times, and their kin were fairly isolated. They mostly dealt in exports, but they had offered Celestia and Luna a hoof or two a few hundreds of years ago.

Like her sister she offered a gracious bow of her head, her ears back and her hooves close together. She upheld her posture with pure determination, despite her groggy body she wanted to show the ponies of Equestria her utmost respect. After all, it was her short comings that required the aid of these kind ponies. She nodded in turn with Yu's dictation of their problem, her eyes scanning the crowd as eagerly as her sisters.

Nervously she bent a hoof, tapping the stones tied around her neck. If they couldn't find them here, were would they be? Clearing her throat Jin worked up the courage to speak out alongside her sister, sparing her a glance for approval and inner support, whatever semblance of unspoken communication they had between them seemed to relax the golden kirin. "Our land has told us a prophecy, that there are those who can harness the powers that be and bring balance to our lands. Princess Celestia has told us many tales about the inner strength her kingdom has within their hearts, and the power of the friendships and bonds that have occurred here. My people's lives hang in the balance, and I've no power to aid them... Please, I beseech you, help us."

She took a deep breath, offering another polite bow, dipping a little lower than she had the first go. Her sister hadn't often approved of her manner of speaking, complained that if she regarded herself as weak that the people would loose faith in her thinking that she had none in herself. But Jin was quick to admit when she needed help, and proud to stand when she didn't.

Looking out over the ponies once again. "Within the halls of the castle Princess Celestia and Luna have granted us the benefit of using their throne room to conduct our search. There is magic in the stones we wear... Please, look upon them, and come to see us if you feel drawn to them..." They had lined up countless numbers within their own hall, to which the precious stones had remained dormant. This was their last hope.

With that she turned, awaiting her sister's movement so that they could set up their search within the throne room together.

The Elements of Balance

The Elements of Balance represent some of the core virtues within the Ma Kingdom's culture (though they also value many of the elements of harmony)

Based on your selections and your answers (the why half) we have selected the applications that we feel fit these roles best.

We will now post the selected metaplot ponies! Please post as soon as you're able and report to your respective princess, and we'll form a posting order from there.

Princess Jin has around her neck spheres of pearl, coral, and a cat's eye.

Wasibru
The pearl will react to Forest Frolic and draw strength upon her values of peace.

Jace Xander Valentine
The coral will react to Kori and draw strength upon his loving heart.

Depawsit
The Cat's Eye will react to Cinema ticket and draw strength upon his wise mind. ((Note that this is different from intelligence))

Princess Yu has around her neck the gems of Sapphire, Diamond, and amber.

KittyKay_66
The sapphire will react to Inkbrand and draw strength upon his sense of justice and fair mind.

Discord Brony
The diamond will react to Mystic Copycat and draw strength from his humble nature.

holloween-hound
The amber will react to Shadow Fire and draw strength from his joyful heart.

Elements of Balance
1. Peace -- Compassion -- Pearl
2. Love -- Benevolence -- Coral
3. Humility -- Equanimity -- Diamond
4. Joy* -- Happiness -- Amber
5. Justice -- Rectitude -- Sapphire
6. Wisdom -- Understanding -- Cats eye

Elements in discord:
1. War
2. Hate
3. Pride
4. Depression
5. Chaos
6. Foolishness

*Joy is different from laughter as it expresses a more passive sensation of happiness.

The antagonist:
For this metaplot I've asked Izzie R to play the part of the antagonist, because he is active, a solid roleplayer, and we believe he will be able to adequately provide challenges for the players to overcome. You will be able to overcome these challenges, and you will be able to defeat the antagonist come the end of the storyline. In light of that Cobalt is being given an additional position within the storyline to work as an aide in understanding the strange dark magic looming over the princess' home.

However you should still be able to post at your own pace, though we do ask that you try to keep up with it, we also acknowledge and understand that real life comes first, and Izzie has promised to adhere to these guidelines. wink

Celestia
]As the murmur overcame the crowd once more Princess Celestia followed her two guests into the throne room. Assuring that Luna would stay and provide assistance where needed, the mare was more than capable of keeping any pony in check, even if that was everypont in all of Equestria at once.

The princess of the sun slid into the empty halls of the palace, enjoying the moment's peace she got as she traversed the castle. "Cobalt?" she chimed, peering into one of the many archives, one in which a student by the name of Cobalt presided. She knew him to be quite smart, but the opportunity for a little bit of balance had been lacking from his days thus far, at least in her mind. The chance to expand and explore would surely be good for the intelligent stallion. She enjoyed challenging all of her students, just as she had done sunset shimmer, and twilight sparkle alike.

"Cobalt." She chimed as she spotted the orange unicorn, sighing in relief. "I have a mission for you..."

Cobalt Lightning
"Magistrate Immune, Equestrian Royal Court, at your service."

Current Location: Canterlot Palace Library
Current Company: The Sister of the Sun
Oh, Our Cookies: Yay posty. So far all I got for the baddie is a name race, role, talent, and a placeholder place of residence. Again, just assuming it was okay for me to post <_>

From the privacy of the Library, Cobalt Lightning had books, tomes, and texts magically rotating every which way in a relatively tight orbit around him, although beside him was a relatively short parchment and a small quill. His eyes were twitching to and fro, and form the volume of flipping pages he almost wasn't able to hear Celestia herself calling for him. "Hey, Tia, think it can wait another thirty seconds?" he replied, speaking to her as if she was an equal. "I'm so close to finding something new... I can feel it in my- THERE!" From the exclaimed remark, Cobalt's eyes widen in pleasent surprise, as most of the books simply stopped in midair before falling to the ground: Only four tomes remained in midair. "Prison of Tartarus... Why the hell did you go there?' Cobalt asked quietly as if not speaking to anyone in particular as the feather wrote down the names of the books remaining in midair, as well as the pages they were currently displaying. With a sigh, the small note rolled itself up at about the same time the dozens of textbooks flew around, closing loudly and eventually found their way back onto the shelves.

"Right, then. Sorry about that" Cobalt Lightning apologized as he turned to Celestia. "So, sup, Tia? A 'mission' eh? Are you just elaborating that you can't open the pickle jar again? Or do you need another tennis partner, perhaps looking for an opponent or two against yourself and possibly Luna? You got a helluva serve, but, no offense, your volley could use a little work." he repliedagain speaking as if he and Celestia were equal.

"Wow.... They are lovely aren't they Asch?" The light blue Unicorn looks at his partner with a smile

"Yeah. I've never seen anypony that looks like them."

Hearing their plight the two look at each other then to them and then back to the other, "Well? Wanna see if we can help them out?"
Asch looks up at the two and shivers, "N-no harm in trying I suppose." Kori makes his way up to them holding his head high while Asch follows behind clearly nervous about approaching royalty

shadow smiled. "I cant, you hate flying for one thing, and im carrying to much stuff." shadow said, ruffling lights mane with a hoof. that's when the new princesses began to talk. light fire and draco just listen as they talked to each other, but shadow was in a trance, something was calling out to him. all he could do was look at the necklace with great intent as the amber filled his eyes. it was calling out to him, and he had to answer it.

after the speech shadow, followed closely by light and Draco, entered the castle. light and Draco were looking nervous, but shadow had a look of propose. finally reaching princess jin and princess Yu, shadow bowed. "I'm sorry for the intrusion, but I feel like im needed here for some reason..." he trailed off, lifting his head and looking at them. light and Draco's jaw dropped at shadow. "are you crazy shadow, you got orders to fill back in ponyville." Draco said walking up to him and grabbing his fur, pulling slightly. light followed suit and was trying to pull shadow back out of the room, but wasn't succeeding very well. "come on big brother, Draco is write." light said as she stood infront of him looking at him in the eyes. shadow smiled. "I cant, I feel like im being called, its hard to explain really..." he said giving a concerned look at light with a friendly smile. shadow then stepped forward looking as boldly as he could at Yu and Jin. "if I can help in anyway, you have my wings at your side." shadow stated, his voice full of joy at the thought of helping.

In all perfect honesty, Inkbrand had no idea what the buck he was doing, but he was intrigued.

Not with the whole, "a dark threat hangs above us all" bit. That sounded like the start of a very bad film, in which a group of misfit heroes came together to defeat an ancient evil in a blast of fierce and unknown magic (and hadn't that been how Nightmare Moon had been defeated in the first place, anyways?), and overall, something the tattoo clad stallion had no interest in whatsoever. Buck, no, he wasn't going to risk life and limb to help some scaly looking dragon pony things, with weird hair styles and even weirder hooves, from some far off kingdom that he'd never even heard of, much less visited.

…Even if they were pretty hot scaly looking dragon pony things.

Maybe even more than hot, if Inkbrand was honest - but there was something about the two…what were they?…that made his ears automatically fall back onto his head. Probably because they were princesses? Even without wings, the two sisters gave off the same sort of air that Princess Celestia and Luna did, that regal bearing and tone of voice that made it obvious what they were. The sort of air that made every stallion, even Inkbrand, have an instinctual understanding of the differences in station, and there was no bucking way in Tautarus he was ever going to be getting some of that.

Well. That was what fantasizing was for, anyways.

So, no. Inkbrand didn't feel especially heroic or special as he swaggered through the crowd, pushing past ponies to enter the castle proper. Nor did he have any plans to drop everything to the wayside in order to romp off into the sunset on an epic and poetic quest bucking straight out of a foal's story time. No, he was simply intrigued at the two foreign princesses, and hey. If they were inviting every pony to come trotting straight up to them for a better look, who was he to complain?

Apparently he wasn't the only one thinking the same thing. Though nearly all of Equestria had turned up in the courtyard, only a hoof-ful of ponies seemed to be interested in getting 'chosen' and s**t. And in fact, as Inkbrand pushed his way past the large doors and into the throne room, he recognized one such pony and a vaguely familiar dragon, managing to catch the tail end of his words.

It was enough to make him roll his eyes.

"Be cornier," the Earth Pony jeered, though with some fond amusement rather than outright derision as he sedately walked up to the Pegasus in question, "and don't forget to add the part about your honor and life for the cause." He hadn't known Shadow Fire for too long - they'd done some business when Inkbrand had first been setting up shop - but he liked the guy well enough. Easy-going and friendly, the Pegasus had been surprisingly impervious to Inkbrand's admittedly abrasive nature, and the two got along fairly well.

But one thing that never failed to amuse Inkbrand was Fire's almost archaic mannerisms, such as this example of his proclamation of servitude towards the foreign princesses.

'Like the gallant knight straight from a foal's story time,' Inkbrand thought to himself, and had to laugh.

"So you came to check them out too? The, er, the stones, I mean?" the grey Earth Pony corrected himself, drawing his eyes up from scale-covered flanks to the stones in question. Sure, they were pretty - the sapphire stone abruptly reminded him of a dual shade of blue in RS's eyes, for some reason - but they looked like any other stone a pony could usually find in Rarity's boutique shop.

"…Oh, don't mind me," Inkbrand said off-handedly, once he belatedly realized he was probably being very rude to two foreign dignitaries who may or may not have the power to blast him into smithereens. "I'm just here for…moral support?" This was said as he threw a casual hoof around Shadow Fire's shoulder, and was probably about as true as it got. What the buck did he know about bad dreams and dark curses, anyways? In his opinion, the golden dragon thing would probably be best off with a cup of hot chocolate and a trip to her local therapist.

Celestia smiled fondly as her student asked for another thirty seconds. There was no urgency in her tone, so of course she nodded, watching in silent amusement as the gears turned in his mind until something clicked. He was off like a flash, and she couldn't help the warm chuckle as he spoke aloud.

When he finally brought his attention to her, she was unphased by the affectionate name. She never thought herself above her people, and especially not her students. She did have a few millennium of wisdom to share, but none of which required any silly formal greeting.

"I'm afraid the pickle jars won't be opened for a few days." she half-teased, though sometimes it was hard to tell when the princess was jesting as her tone always held a hint of regality to it. "Actually I've come here to ask you accompany our two guests back to their home. I believe Princess Yu and Princess Jin will find the ponies they're looking for. But we still do not understand what sort of magic is around them, I'd like you to return with them and submit a report on what you find. I fear a darkness such as this may not be the only one of its kind. "

Despite the grim worries plaguing her mind, she had to smile as she reached the end of her request. "I know you will do wonders Cobalt. You're a very bright student... I don't have to tell you do I?" She smiled, as she'd so often repeated this important lesson over and over again, some of her students were groaning when it all seemed to come back to this one, redundant topic; "Make some new friends."

"I imagine you'll be adventuring with a diverse group of ponies. I want you to report to me your findings there, too. If you befriend them you'll have the chance to study the elements of balance, and the ponies they interact with first hand." She did try to make it sound at least somewhat alluring. And with that she gave a small respective tip of her head. "Do you accept my mission Cobalt?" she asked in a more official tone.

Jin stood near to princess Luna's throne, looking across the sea of ponies. She tried to think positive, to assume that their salvation was close at hoof, but the nightmares had taken their toll both physically and mentally. She just wasn't herself these days, but there was no rest for royalty. Each moment she felt dysmorphic was another moment her kingdom suffered. The guilt she felt from their last search still hung heavy on her shoulders.

Just as that dread started to cloud her mind, a faint glow came to her thoughts. Opening her eyes in a snap she glanced downwards, lips parting in awe as one of the stones had begun to glow. Her heart was pounding quite suddenlly, but she did her best to contain it. Which, quite honestly, was very well. One could hardly tell from the Princess' stoic expression that she was happy, let alone excited. She turned to her sister, nodding silently towards her; this was it. The prophecy would be fulfilled here.

Scanning the crowd she took in the sensations, a hint of love-- it was the red coral that was responding. She could feel it drawing closer, the glow strengthening. A few ponies got mistaken and asked if they were the chosen, crowding around the princesses hooves in a little swarm. Jin politely declined, asking that they step back and allow others to approach... Finally as Kori and Asch approached Jin gave a warm, if not tired, smile.

The Princess Jin bowed low as she took sight of Kori. "I am honored to meet you." She stood straight again, smiling to Asch as well. "You hold a great love in your heart..." Her expression was a mix of both awe and delight, and subtle hints of pure relief. If one of the prophetic was here, there was bound to be the another 5, wasn't there? "Please..." slowly her horns glowed a soft gold, raising the stones from her neck and drawing the red one free. She passed it to Kori, though it glowed there was no hint of reaction yet. "You have within your heart the love to activate this element, please... aid me and my kingdom."

User ImageForest Frolic had to crane her head far up even from a small hill just to get a glimpse of the princesses who spoke - familiar and unfamiliar alike. She had come from her humble home on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest to hear what they had to say, but she knew very well the royal foreign guests had come a great deal farther from their own home. It was the least she could do to come listen to them.

Besides that, Forest's sense of curiosity and adventure would have never permitted her to stay at home. She was hardly in her dwelling as it was, only using it as a safe haven to sleep in between her ventures into the forest to discover new plants and animals. To aid visitors from afar with a strange new threat both unknown and dangerous, though...that would have been a difficult adventure to top in terms of excitement and appeal to the bold mare.

After listening to the princess' words, she noticed a great many ponies were headed to the throne room where the selection process was to take place. Forest wasn't sure if she had whatever it was the twin rulers were looking for, but she wasn't about to give up before she even started. Even if she didn't, perhaps they would allow her to accompany the chosen ones. Aside from being able and willing to help protect them with her archery, she was dying to learn more about the Ma Kingdom and the rest of the Eastern Lands. There were so many potential discoveries to be had and new friends to make!

Nothing could have prepared her for the elegance and majesty of the Eastern Princesses up-close, however. From far off, their scales had simply made them appear as shining glints of gold and jade, but when Forest entered the throne room, their breathtaking beauty floored her. Her jaw dropped and she stood in the entrance for a few seconds until irritable voices and impatient shoves from the others around her urged her along. Oh, right...this was no time to stare and gawk. And what bad manners! She had to be more careful about that...

As she approached the royal pair, she realized she recognized a few ponies ahead from Hearts and Hooves day at Sweet Apple Acres. The black pegasus with the blue mane and Shadow Fire were there, but each was accompanied by another stallion she had never seen before. The one with the black pegasus was a pale blue unicorn with lovely, lacy white dapple markings on his flank much prettier than hers. And the one throwing a hoof around Shadow Fire's shoulder...like her, he was a gray earth pony, but his sense of style and individuality didn't seem to find that fact to be any sort hindrance.

Once again, Forest found herself slack-jawed. Her face began to heat up and she felt her cheeks flush. If there was one thing that got her more worked up than a possible adventure, it was boys. Handsome, cute, attractive stallions. Maaaaybe she had better come back later... Between lovely foreign twin strangers and a multitude of male hearthrobs, Forest wasn't sure she'd be able to concentrate on anything, let alone speak coherent words to the princesses.

When she looked again, however, one of the stones caught her eye. The filly did a double-take, because she wasn't usually the sort to be drawn in by gems or jewelry. But only one of the particular stones around only one of the princesses' necks seemed to command her attention. Hmm...how curious. Maybe she should stick around a bit longer to find out just what those stones were for and what they meant. She could stand among the crowd and behave without embarrassing herself for a little while, couldn't she...?

Ah, that poor princess. It must have been difficult enough with the weight of a kingdom and its subjects on her shoulders, but to be plagued with horrible nightmares and the fatigue of inadequate sleep? Her sister must have been worried sick about her, too; especially if they were as close as being twins implied. And to have to turn to another kingdom for help...as rulers of their own, it must have been very difficult for them to risk their pride and reputation to do so. Forest's heart went out to Jin and Yu as she continued to regard them, both watching and listening as they conversed with the ponies who had come to greet them and offer their assistance.

Oh, what was that?! One of the stones had started to glow! What did that mean? Was a chosen pony near? Trying to manuver, Forest tried to obey Princess Jin's request to step back within the crowded space where she stood. And then there was the black pegasus and his pale blue unicorn friend. How wonderful! Perhaps one of them was a chosen one!

Meanwhile, a pair of young stallions watched from afar. A purple unicorn stood at the back of the throne room in a corner, his bright red eyes shining dimly in the shadows. An apricot-colored earth pony tried to part his own way closer to the front, but only managed to get shoved back further toward the spiky-maned purple unicorn. Said unicorn made a sound of annoyance.

"Ack - watch who you're falling on, will ya?" he snapped, pushing the fallen pony back onto his own hooves. "You almost speared yourself on my horn."

"Well, what are you doing back here?" the feminine male earth pony answered, green eyes narrowing in contempt. "Hardly anyone can even see you. Trying to fit your name, 'Shadow Ghost'? Why even bother coming in here in the first place if you're just going to take up space?"

"It may be a stupid name, but it's better than yours, 'Techno Tunes'," the one called Shadow Ghost retorted. "I came because I heard Princess Jin had been having nightmares and trouble sleeping. Both ailments I'm pretty darn familiar with." His tone softened as his gaze shifted back toward the front. "I was trying to see if I could sense the presence of any malicious spirits that might have been the cause. And if it would be beyond my abilities to cure." He frowned. "What about you, huh? What business do you have being here? Shouldn't you be shut up in your fancy house writing music or blocking out the world with your headphones or something?"

"You've got a lot of nerve," Techno hissed. "I came to pay my respects to Jin-hime and Yu-hime. And maybe to help if I could, but with their land's plight, not some silly minor thing like a few nightmares."

"Tch, as if you'd be able to a single thing. You might risk getting a hoof dirty or your mane tangled," Ghost scoffed. "I'm not so arrogant to think I can do something as heroic as saving a whole kingdom, but I at least wanted to see what I could do." He sighed. "I doubt it's going to get much easier for those twins before it gets worse."

"Seems that way," Techno agreed, nodding. The pair raised their heads to continue observing the selection process going on at the front of the throne room. "I wish them and the Chosen Ones the best of luck that this obstacle be overcome quickly."

Princess Yu moved into the castle with her sibling and the two princesses from Equestria to take up a spot at the end of the room. She let out a slow breath before the ponies began to move in, standing still and silent. Most of the ponies kept to the back of the room, more interested in seeing them and the chosen ponies, she supposed, so her green eyes disregarded them instantly. Only those that had the courage to come forward further would have a chance of meeting the stone's requirements.

One of the stones on her sister's neck began to glow and a wave of relief washed over Yu. They were here. The ponies that would help were here. She watched as two ponies moved forward and one made the stone shine even brighter. Yu kept a close eye on Jin as she spoke to the pony, but soon her attention was pulled from them as one of her own gems began to glow. The amber stone created a beautiful shine against her green scales that grew as a pony with a small filly and a baby dragon approached her. Her green eyes narrowed just a bit as the male pegasus spoke, taking his words to heart even as the two younger companions urged him not to speak.

"It would do the two of you well to help rather than hinder," she murmured, her voice firm but not unkind. "It is noble to offer your services, Pegasus. What is your name?" As she spoke a second of her gems began to glow, the sapphire's blue and the amber's gold dancing off the other. An Earth pony stepped up to stand beside the Pegasus, and his words made a tiny hum of amusement leave her lips.

"I shall mind you, Earth pony," she said, the glow of the stones reflecting off her scales. "It seems that you will be more than moral support. Your name as well?" It was clear to her who would receive which stone, but she wasn't about to hand them off to anypony.

User Image"Me?!" He looks down at the stone and then to the lovely princess, "I am... Honored to help you Princess..."He bows gracefully and uses his magic to take the gem carefully looking it over.

"Wow.... You are one of the chosen?! That is so amazing!" Asch smiles, "Uhm... I... Uh wouldn't be able to come with you would I?" He rubs the back of his leg

"I wouldn't dream of anything else!" He smiles warmly then returns his attention to the Princess, "As long as it would not be a burden to you, m'lady"

shadow gave a nod, glancing at inkbard for a second, before returning his gaze on Yu. "im Shadow fire, and please, don't mind these two." he said stepping forward as Draco and light stepped back, off put by Yu's gaze. Shadow, now getting a closer look at her scales had an idea for an armor design, sure, he would need the scales of a dragon, which are naturally hard, but with the right technic he could make an armor that really worked. he also had an idea for the amber, crafting it into a bracelet would really look nice in his head, but a necklace would be easier to make, cause he knew his neck size.

The gathering of ponies was quite the sight, so many stared at them with such awe and wonder that Princess Jin's cheeks had begun to feel a little warm. The two were rather humble in reserved, simply as a part of their culture rather than personal preference. It was, in turn, surprising to see so many speaking so freely.

She noted the purple pegasus with the unique wings of metal, but her sister had responded to both him and the gray pony that had stepped forth. Ah, yes, once again she was reminded how bold these ponies were towards one another. Still, she was smiling as the few began to gather, feeling her hopes and faith renewed.

Soon all but two of the stones had begun to glow and shimmer as they resonated with their destined owners. She gave a small breath of relief as Kori agreed and accepted this fate. She wasn't sure what they would have done if anypony actually said no. "Tell me your names?"

Jin was a little surprised to hear the unicorn ask if his friend could come along, or... more than friend? But she smiled again, giving a small nod of her head. "I'm sure my sister will agree; your friends and families are more than welcome in our home... we will gladly house any who wish to accompany you. However I warn you, there may be unforeseen dangers as you progress on your quest... I fear you may have to go alone for that portion, but I will make sure that he is safe and sound in your absence." She gave a small glance to regard Asch, giving her word that she would keep him safe.

Her excitment slowly mounted as she took light of the second, dimly glowing pearl. Its faint white light caused her scales to glimmer, just as the red coral had... And her eyes soon scanned the crowd for who might be its owner. They landed on a rather sweet looking pony with a gray coat. "And you..." she took a step towards the mare. "The pearl is responding to you as well. Who might you be?" She spoke softly, lifting the pearl from her neck to offer it forward. Only two remained to be found. Her spirits lifted for the time being. she gave a wide smile towards her sister.

Her sister had indeed worried for her, and sought to care for her... These four were symbols of an end of that dark cloud, to her sisters worry and fret-- and the joy of a new era of peace and prosperity to be allowed back into their kingdom.

My name is Kori, my father told me that the name means Ice." He smiles at the foreign princess.
"I am Aschen Wings, or Asch for short. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance ma'am" He bows shyly
