Well for starters, Hanna can be extremely talkative. In a good mood, she can talk anyone's ear off. Maybe even both ears. She can also really annoy people with it. When she is in a good mood, she tends to be energetic and bouncy. She loves to move and hates to sit still. Might explain her finger tapping. She may also be one of the neatest people you will ever meet. She hates messes. If she sees a mess, even if it isn't hers, she will straighten it up and make it look nice. She is constantly fixing up the house. She isn't self-conscious and hides her face, no, she struts herself loud and proud, happy to be Hanna Marin. She is very sociable and loves making new friends. You can never have too many friends in her eyes. Though luckily she is good with names. So she doesn't every really confuse people. She can get really bossy too. Sometimes too bossy. She is also pretty vain. She kind of loves herself, and loves to stare at herself even more. A quirk she has is often staring at her self in reflective surfaces or in mirrors. She may be young, but she knows she is cute, and like her sister, will be beautiful when she gets older. She also tends to absentmindedly tap her fingers no matter what she is doing. A hobby of hers is trying on different kinds of clothes together and seeing what looks good together. You never know what looks good unless you try it on! A hobby of hers she also has is spending money. Her parents aren't the richest, but they most certainly are not poor. She spends almost all of her money, or theirs, at the mall. Something she is also used to doing is waking up and joining her sister in the middle of the night with the dark freaks her out too much. That habit will be hard for her to kick. When she meets someone new, she has yet to forget a face or a name. She doesn't know why, but she never confuses people because she just remembers faces. Her family is one of her strengths. Her older sister is usually the one she depends on most, though. Her self-confidence is her main strength. It's harder, not impossible, to get her down and make her feel bad about herself because she just likes herself so much. She doesn't dwell too much on what she thinks she can't do, but she tries. She is also very enthusiastic and is a big dreamer. She has big hopes that her future will be great, even if she doesn't have the top grades in her classes. She is also very determined. When she wants something or wants to get something done, she's determined to get it done. Her social skills are also a good strength. Hanna is good at making friends and keeping them, because of her loyalty to her friends. Plus, she doesn't break the girl code. Her honesty, while also a weakness, is a strength. People know that she doesn't like to lie to them, because for one, Hanna just doesn't like lying. But people also won't trust you if you're lying to them. She can be really blunt even when you don't want her to be. Hanna does not have the best time controlling herself when she is upset though. While she can be a little sweetie, she can also be a little monster. When she was younger, her tantrums used to involve breaking most of the glass things in the room she was in. Sometimes even ripping the heads off of her dolls. She is impulsive and over-dramatic when upset. Her honestly can also be a weakness of hers. While she is fairly honest to her friends, sometimes she can be to honest and just piss people off. She also tends to get a little bossy. It comes with her attitude, she will admit she does get from her sister. While her being so energetic can be good, she does tend to get a little over-excited about somethings.

Hanna was not the first born in her family. She is the middle child of five. First her brother Elliot, then sister Laura. Then Hanna was born. Then a brother after her followed by a sister. Her family has always been on the wealthier side of the middle class. Her and her siblings were raised in getting just about everything they wanted, and a college fund started for all of them around the time they were born. Elementary school was quite easy for Hanna. She excelled in her class. Brightest kid there. She also got on everyone's good side really quickly. She was that cute little girl all of the other girls wanted to be friends with. Her popularity only went up in Middle School. She was the prettiest girl around. Also kind of the nicest too. She always had the best clothes, great hair, flawless skin. Her grades weren't the best though. It seemed Elementary was the easiest in the world, and everything else just sort of sucked for her. She is extremely bad at math. By the time she got around to the end of Middle School, Hanna had to be the most popular girl in school. Her body was blossoming sooner than most of the other girls, so she had to have had at least four boyfriends in her Eight Grade year.Hanna's grades didn't start to improve. In her freshman year it started to show just how dim she actually is. But that didn't hurt her popularity any. Her popularity continued to grow, although her grades remained about the same the entire time. Her and her older siblings all had relatively the same High School experience. Her sister was Queen Bee while she was in school, and her brother was the Player. Towards the end of her Eleventh Grade year, Hanna got an admirer. He wasn't one of the guys she knew. He was a new guy. A freshman. Wasn't very popular, but took a shining to Hanna. His name is Joseph. He was always trying to flirt with Hanna, but Hanna had been flirted so much with over the years that it was like a normal conversation to her. When Joseph asked her out, she rejected him. mainly because she was currently having a mini-fling with the quarter back of the football team, and partly because she hardly knew him and as far as she could tell, he wasn't her type. After a few days of not showing up at school, Joseph waited in Hanna's room for her. Hiding in her walk-in closet until she got home. Her older brother Elliot was the only one home with her. Her sister not visiting home from college, and her parents out with her two younger siblings. Joseph surprised Hanna then, and pinned her to her bed. He didn't try any moves on her. Instead, he started choking her. And even monologue a bit, telling her she's worthless, fat, ugly and no one likes her. The only reason guys like her is because she puts out, and the girls like her to take pity on her. He actually got into her head before she passed out. But luckily managed to hit something, make something fall and break. Bringing Elliot up to her room just in time to save her. Joseph was arrested for breaking and entering, and attempted murder. But left Hanna pretty screwed up. Hanna was funny after the thing with Joseph. She actually sort of believed what he said about her. She wasn't sure why she believed him, but since the guys at school seemed to be paying less attention to her, and her friends talked to her less, she took that as a sign he was right. Hanna became bulimic. She hardly left her room for at least two weeks after Joseph, and her brother never left once until he knew she was okay. She lost a s**t ton of weight, and ended up getting pretty sick. But her brother and best friend managed to talk her out of it and it didn't take her long to get healthy. The fee weeks to a month of basically starving herself left her hungry enough to look normal in about a month or two. Though whenever she tried to get with other men, she would usually end up flipping out. They would touch her neck and send her into a frenzy to the point where most of the guys thought she was nuts. She was even plagued with nightmares. Even after she got over her bulimia she still couldn't sleep through the night. When her family and her moved, they thought it helped. But she just didn't wake up screaming any more.
