It had been a long while since she had battled anything. She took to exploring and battling a lot as soon as she got here, but soon felt herself sore. It was time to flex her claws again and went searching for those amazing garden snakes that seemed to put up a fairly decent fight. So far, she didnt seem to have any problems with them, so why not?
Of course, one found her before she found it, but she was already prepared. Her claws flexed and though it got the jump on her, she easily struck back, 'Lets do this!'

Her one uncovered eye glows faintly with a black slit down the middle like that of a feline or dragon. Her clothing is that of the 'Gryphon', and at most the look on her face is that which would be quite unapproachable. The broad rimmed hat she wears, easily hides her face.
He needed to get his mind away from the visions that lake forced to resurface some horrid memories, when 'lo and behold, there was an odd looking female fighting with a goofy looking snake. He was casual coming on in to the fight, taking his sweet time as he observed the scene for a few moments, finding the spot to jump right in with this unfamiliar female.
"Don't mind if I do.." he spoke non chalantly, entering with a minor healing spell, just for the little lady.

She briefly heard the male behind her, but felt his spell warm her body. This one was dressed almost exactly like her, and before getting in another attack she nodded to him in thanks, her claws moving to swipe into the snake again.
This time, she had another little pet with her, this one seemed to be defending her, or at least helping, and that was always a good thing. She had decided to give her first pet a rest.

Well at least she didn't talk much but did acknowledge his bit of help as he decided he may as well get a little serious at this point, he didn't want to die in this battle...there was no telling what would happen given this being his first. He figured he had to hit it somehow, and it did appear that he had a weapon latched onto the belt of his funny outfit.
And forward he rushed, sliding beneath a coiling tail before vaulting himself from the ground once he was clear of the sweeping tail, clocking the snake along the side of it's head as he landed on the other side of the hissing monster, spinning on a heel to face the angry lizard.

This wasnt the first fight someone had joined in on, and it didnt much mind to her. Although she wanted a spar, it wasnt as if she chose something so easy it was a walk in the park. She took note that her new partner for this right didnt seem to have a weapon either. Maybe he didnt come with one, maybe he preferred melee like she did. Ah well, it didnt quite mater to her, as she kept heavy on her own attacks.

He was starting to feel just a little fatigued, taking in some heavy breaths as if he'd run a marathon. With his pole arm still in hand he charged once more, hopefully this thing would die soon or he might just run off in the middle of the battle and let this girl handle the rest on her own. For now though, he simply ran along the beast's back before keeping on top of it's head, jabbing at the eyes of the snake. At least until he'd get flung off one way or another.

Ah, alright, so the male did have a weapon of some sort it seemed... and it seemed he was getting tired. That amused her, a lot. When the beast was on it's last leg, its massive head down closer to her she took the killing blow, easily bringing the beast to an end, and then some.
She wiped some blood off her face and laughed outright at the male "There, princess, I saved you," she teased.
