Welcome to Janhall's 71st Annual Spring Festival and Fair!
Each year, Janhall sets up a fair where every member of the community pridefully displays their hard works or art or oustanding achievements in agriculture. This year, humans will be apart of the celebration; many have even entered contests and activities to further their involvement.
Make sure to check out the dozens of rides and carnival games! And don't forget to support small business by purchasing your food and drinks from the stalls that line the walkways!
Remember, admission is FREE! So treat your family to a day of fun, or surprise that special someone with an amazing date! No matter who you spend the day with, it's garunteened to be unforgettable!

〠☾The fair only occurred once a year, so it was something that no one in town could miss. It was like a tourist trap for it's own people, but even knowing that, Navarre couldn't resist visiting at least once. After finishing his duties that afternoon, he had planned to wander the pavilions and vendors by himself, but Katrina had asked to accompany him. Of course, he didn't even need to ask how she'd known his plans; during council meetings, she allowed to wander into the lighter thoughts of the members. Considering they had been friends for several years now, he agreed readily, and now the two were passing the gates into the fair.
It was as busy as every other year, with no corners cut by the committee that planned these events. This year, humans were able to join in and mingle amongst them, so it was a year to impress. Still, Navarre detected the subtleties of heightened security, just in case anyone had any qualms with the lack of Veil.
Katrina immediately pulled him towards the pavilion that housed several contests such as textiles, table settings, and various food things. It was, of course, completely predictable that she zoomed in on the food side; Navarre didn't need to read her mind for that. There were dozens of decorated cakes, gingerbread houses, canned fruits and the like. He knew that she could spend hours just in this one section, so he separated from her after a few minutes and wandered off to admire the various beaded necklaces and crocheted scarves.

Todd wandered the fair with a small smile. He said hi and exchanged pleasentries with many of the participants, being the fire chief meant he knew most of the people in town. He always enjoyed the fair, so festive and bunches of people with smiles on their faces. Technically, he was still on duty, but he and his fellow firefighters enjoyed the fair so much he decided to allow everyone to go. He took the fire engine and parked at a location they could get to quickly in case of an emergency with all of their gear in it.
His wife had promised she'd meet him here as soon as she finished with some chores around the house. He couldn't wait to spend time with her, it seemed like something always got in the way of them spending personal time together. But today would be different, he could feel it. She'll come right over to the fair and find him and no emergencies will come up to ruin their time together.
