killsteal's grand entrance to battle was more of a whimper than a growl. He certainly did snarl as he leapt forward at the snake, but . . . a newb was a newb. The gryphon managed a scratch, but the thing hissed and knocked him back before he coudl do much more.
"Tch." At least Shaheen wasn't watching.

MistahDarcy sort of appeared on the scene and then proceeded to set up a defense for the other individual he saw as being here, "Enjoy picking fights?" The voice held a bit of dry humor but he didn't seem too excited to show his face off with the way the hood hid everything.

Whereas the other two entered fairly sedately, even if Mister Hot Shot Fighter Bro over there had tried attacking grandly, Kousagi raced toward the others with a loud shout of "THAT THING PROBABLY BITES WATCH-- OW!". It had bitten her on her way in. OH WELL. She would just have to do what she did best... Offer cookies from her seemingly bottomless coat pockets! "CATCH!" She shouted at the other grumpy looking guy before she tossed a cookie his way. At least she had learned to warn them FIRST. It bites. Very astute. killsteal rolled his eyes, but the fact that he didn't make a comment was in respect to the fact that the girl was a healer. "Who doesn't?" he answered the caterpillar with a shrug and a grin. But now that he was backed, he couldn't be too hesitant.
Summoning the stupid hare he got on the way into the game, the gryphon unleashed a much better combo of attacks to cut the snake down to size.

Then someone new happened on the scene and tossed him a cookie, which he managed to catch just barely and then ate to get some of the healing. He proceeded to set up a bit of protection for the new comer as well, "..Well I do not often go looking for fights but they often find me..."
There was also the fact that MistahDarcy seemed to want to protect as many of the things as he could if not all of the things.. This time she found a tea sacuer that she hurried to give to the catepillar. "Use this like a shield!" She told him with a smile. "Same thing." He snickered and coordinated another series of blows, finding his stride quickly after that first mishap. "The rabbit here has more spirit than you do, bug, as does the mouse. If trouble finds you so often, that is something to reflect on."
Better reflection was done while eating, though, which was why he started to nibble on the cookies she kept tossing his way.

He glanced over at his fighting companion and shrugged, "I am not saying that I have a bad attitude. Not entirely. We are getting together resplendently. At least you aren't trying to sacrifice anyone to the beast so you can't be that displeased with me or her."

Most of that, killsteal didn't catch over the sound of chowing down on the cookie. They weren't his usual meal, but they weren't half bad . . . Only now the mouse was making with the whiny noises.
"Do not put words in my mouth," he said dismissively, swinging a kick that nearly kept the snake down; it was withered but not quite finished yet. "You haven't seen my displeasure yet. Do keep trying, though," he added with a leer before glancing to Kousagi. "As for you, keep quiet and keep healing. Or finish this off if it's in you."

Guilt hit him pretty hard and fast after she started being a bit sulky, "What? N-No. You're fine!" He assured the young woman with a bit of a knit at his unseen brow. This is probably the most concern he showed since the battle started.
It seems someone can't stand to see a woman upset.
He offered her what was left of his cookie, "U..Uh here?" There was also something flung the other male's way to defend him from any outward strikes the creature might make in throes of death.
"We're all doing our part, Sir. I do not see what you have to be displeased about." They got off on the wrong foot and the foot just kept stubbing into walls along the way.

Once again she squeaked when the angry man spoke, jumping in place. "N-no! I-I-I wasn't I mean-- I was just-- I don't want to be a bother and I-I--" Fretting all the more, she backed up from the two men and only moved again when the caterpillar offered her the remainder of his cookie. Kousagi mumbled her thanks as she scurried forward to take it, tried to dart backwards and tripped over her own tail. With an "oof!" she hit the ground and decided she just ought to stay there for a little while. MistahDarcy just shot the other male a look (and something to help defend against the creature some more) and then went about fussing over Abbi and trying to fix the fact that she fell, all big brother like. "Ah, be more careful, geeze." He murmured softly with a bit of a concerned tone. "I think I still have another cookie...uhh." His hand ducked into his cloak and produced another treat for the young woman.
Just don't cry please, please, please.
Somehow the big brother button got pushed and now it won't turn off, someone help.
