 "Every adventure requires a first step. Trite, but true, even here."
The tea party and its contents-- the plates and the teapots and the finger foods-- are all so much larger than you. Walking between the forest of teacups and platters of cakes, you stumble upon the edge of the table.
Another Cheshire Cat-- this one dressed in blue and black and covered in intricate tattoos-- smiles his Cheshire Grin as you approach. He leans back in his plush, red velvet chair, it is obvious that he easily dwarfs you, as he is in proportion with the table rather than with you.
"Hello," he says, yellow eyes glinting, voice reverberating with an almost-purr. "I've a reward for you, if you can find it." The Cheshire Cat reveals a singular, curved claw, and gestures at a nearby stack of sugar cubes. Stacked into the shape of a pyramid on top of cups, the sugar cubes are sizable enough to be compared to any ancient ruin.
"Explore it. There's something for you, at the end. Better get started now, before someone beats you to it. Wouldn't that be a shame?"
With a final swish of his tail, the Cheshire Cat begins to dissipate from view The glow of his yellow eyes remain for a split second longer, watching you-- and then he's gone.
SIDE QUEST: SUGAR CUBE SEARCHING:
- The Cheshire Cat has dared you to explore the sugar cube cups to try and find the treasure chest.
exclaim You can only complete this quest ONCE If you fail, you can continue trying UP TO THREE TIMES A DAY until you complete/ pass it! exclaim
Difficulty level: Easy
At the base of the colossal cup, three, delicate doors made of icing gate your way. Each one has a placard that reads "Open Me!" in a colourful, cursive font.
So you do.
OOC: SUGAR CUP SEARCH The goal of this exercise is to explore the contents of the sugar cube cups. You are welcome to complete this quest while in a party, sharing progress (and failure!) between everyone in the group. Simply take turns rolling, and move through the rooms as a group. Round 1:Outside the sugar cube cup is three doors. - Roll 3 10-sided dice and match the largest number to the matching door below. - If there are two equal numbers, you may choose which to use. Left Door: If the first number is highest, take this door and proceed to the icing oasis in Round 2! Middle Door: If the second number is highest, take this door. The door refuses to open-- Roll for Round 1 again. Right Door: If your third dice number is the highest, the door opens into a dark room filled with bread-and-butterflies. Proceed to Round 3. Round 2:The room is almost tropical in heat, and there is a skylight that lets some sunshine filter through, hitting the thin, buttercream icing. There is a cookie palm tree that looks weirdly ordinary. There are two exits: a ladder up, and a ladder down. You may also choose to enjoy a taste of the frosting itself. - Roll 3 10-sided dice and match the largest number to the matching result below. - If there are two equal numbers, you may choose which to use. - Use the same rules as Round 1. First dice is highest: You go up and hit a block. Reroll Round 2. Second dice is highest: You have found a pit of some sort of treasure. Proceed to Round 3. Third dice is highest: Something reaches out to grab your hand, and you feel the jarring sensation of a distant dream and makes you fall asleep for an hour. Write a brief dream snippet they have involving a memory and food. When you wake up the cheshire cat is gone! This counts as a fail for the day. Try again until you are out of tries for the day! Round 3:The room is dark, and full of the sound of beating wings: hundreds and hundreds of bread and butterflies. Roll 3 10-sided dice until you get a total of at least 15. Each time you miss, a butterfly thwarts your way. Surprise, you've found the treasure!
Treasure trove found! As you step inside, a chest pops open! You open it right up because that's pretty much what you do with treasure chests in games.

Forests... forests every where, though this one was a tad brighter, not to mention more food oriented than the last. She'd managed to make her way towards the Tea Party after barely escaping Tulgey Woods, thankful to see that the creature hadn't followed her this far and there were no other large things looming about waiting to eat some unsuspecting traveler. Taking a deep breath, she'd plunged ahead and began weaving in and out between the various cups and plates that littered the table. Though before long she came upon a creature, one with a rather similar smile to something she'd seen in a tree earlier, and made her a offer. Hmm, a prize if she could find it in the sugar cubes piled there? Didn't seem like such a bad thing to give a go, even if the remind her of herself a bit, and not just because of her outfit. There was something about it's grin and how it seemed to enjoy fading in and out that made her smile and feel a tad wary of it at the same time. However, when rewards were involved, she wasn't going to spend too much time thinking about their giver as long as they kept up their end of the deal. Turning towards the base of the cup, she took a moment to study the three doors before taking the one to the left and proceeding on to the next room. A new quest area had opened up, and the0racle was more than a little eager to explore the tea party. It didn't matter that everything in her sight completely dwarfed her, this was a new experience, there was possibly quite a great bit of loot everywhere, and she wanted to be the first to get her hands on it! However, for the moment she was content to merely wander around and look at the enlarged items with no small amount of awe. It was then that a cat interrupted her gawking.
She stared up at the large, dark blue feline, hoping that it wasn't have an appetite, because she wasn't sure she could fend it off. Instead, it wanted her to find something in a pile of sugar cubes, never mind that the sugar cubes were quite huge. Because she couldn't resist the sweet allure of loot, the0racle nodded her head and set to the task.

She opened the first door, and walked into a humid, tropical sort of room. It was kind of weird to find a room inside of a cup, but she couldn't help but marvel at it. the0racle could practically smell the buttercream icing, and it was making her taste buds go a little crazy.
With two ladders to pick from, the0racle decided to try her luck by going up but was quickly met with a roadblock. the0racle decided she could probably force her way out, and so climbed back up the same ladder, pounding on the object in her way, preventing her from getting out. Since she couldn't go up, her only option was to go down. the0racle slid down the ladder and discovered a small treasure trove! the0racle discovered a dark room, where she could hear the soft hum of butterflies. Unable to see, she trudged on forward regardless, and quite surprisingly stumbled onto the treasure! Allan? wasn't sure how he found his way to this strange oversized room, all he knew was that everything dwarfed him, and it made him feel oddly nostalgic. He needed to chill with Solomon soon - he was getting stupidly S's sentimental. Ugh! Seeing the large Cheshire didn't put him off, though. Instead, he felt rather calmed by its presence. Kind of a sick comfort - usually with the wild grins came some semblence of sanity. Somehow. So, taking his initiative offered, Allan? decided to not brat around the bush, and went for the middle door. Which was ******** class="quote"> OOC My character's username: MaybeAllan

There was another cat…outside of being forced to handle a forest of teacups and cakes, there was another cat. Maybe they were related to the Cheshire cat they had met before? A head tilt and a look of confusion, they were leaded to explore the sugar cubes.
Outside the first sugar cube, the came across three doors.
Which one do they take? They stared at the doors for a while before taking the right door. Once through, they came upon a dark room with nothing but bread-and-butterflies. What is this? Giving a small indignant snort, Allan? gave a quick look over again, sizing the doors up once more, deciding his next course of action. Middle door was stupid as s**t, and he wasn't entirely set on the first door. So, naturally he decided to try door three. Bingo.
