The Ideals of the Order
1. New World Order The Templars seek the reformation of the world through the means of the Pieces of Eden. The world has grown chaotic, dark and nearly unsalvagable, The flock needs its shepherds, and so the Templars are the elected few to take on that noble role through careful, planned, control and power to reach everlasting peace.
2. Order, not Chaos
The free will that humanity has been given does give true freedom. It breeds chaos, war and hatred. The Templar Order seeks to create peace and cooperation through order. The Order's base ideology itself is about attaining control in order to enable humanity to transcend their animal roots, and become a species perfectly in harmony and in peace.
Maxim "May the Father of Understanding Guide Us" This is a general Templar blessing that was first used while the Order was still in its monastic roots. Understanding and reason are brother and sister to the Order, and such the Templars use this phrase as a sign of guidance and blessing of assurance. The Father of Understanding was an entity to whom the Templars pledged allegiance and asked for guidance.

Ranks
The Templar Order is fluid in that it will utilize the ranking order and system that pertains to the particular society it operates in. Power is the tool used to create Order, so many Templar leaders will find themselves in various positions of power including monetary power, such as powerful and influential merchants, political power and military power.
Interests First one has to become interested in the Order to enter it, so one should showcase their skill and mettle. The Templars look for more than simply brawn in our order, so one should show skills in adapting, critical thinking and creativity. Becoming an influential figure within the society is a must.
Order Members Once one has been accepted as a member of the order, they automatically become a brother or sister, and thus a capable and contributing member of the Templar Brotherhood.
Grand Master Every section of the Templar Order has a Grand Master position leading the order brothers towards the same destination. If newer sections of the order are to be established, then new Grand Masters can be appointed.
For the sake of Worldwide Rank within our Order, we have decided upon a simple ranking system that goes as follows: - Grand Master - Commanding Officer - Officer - Member

Grand Masters and Leaders And aligned officers Templar Knights The Templar Knights were the founding organization of the templars that existed during the height of the Middle Ages. The Templar Knights fight for light, purity and order, and began with the earlier monastic roots. The Church of the Templars are one that deal with the Father of Understanding. Now the Templars are secular but still use traditions from the Tempalr Knight rule.
These knights were ordered in the way that traditional knights had ranks including Lords, Captains, Knights and Squires.
Borgia Rule The order reached a military and political peak during the Italian Renaissance. The family in power were the Borgias, with power peaking under Cesare's Borgia's rule. The Borgia family is only truly in rule during this time. Only those trusted can increase in rank.
North American Order The North American Order was founded by Haytham Kenway and was quick to gain traction and power under his swift command. Haytham is considered to be the Grand Master in this section, with those working for him as his trusted officers, save for his second in command, Charles Lee.
Caribbean Order The Caribbean was plagued by ideas of freedom and liberation spread through the lifestyles of pirates and privateers. The Caribbean Order is lead by Grand Master Laureano Torres de Ayala and his trusted officers including Julien Du Casse and Woodes Rogers. Templars in this area have naval as well as on land combative talents and are trusted among their political and social spheres.
There are two types of contracts that can be made: Assassination Contract Healing Contract

Join the Order
Italian Renaissance Cesare Borgia
Cruel- Any that decide to join with Cesare should be ready to do some really dastardly things. Cesare is not a good man, so a moderate Templar would most likely find his approach to be far to the extreme.
Willing to bend the rules- More often then not, Cesare can be expected to put his own desires ahead of that of the Templar order. He desires power and he wants those that are assisting him to not bat a lash about it.
Effective Team Effort- The Templars must be willing to work with the others of their ilk and able to get the job done. Cesare does not accept failure of any kind, no matter how good the reason for it may be. (He may not be able to kill a Pockettu, but he can make sure they wish they were dead)
Skilled in Combat- His order is focused on all out war in Cesare's quest to obtain power and the Pieces of Eden. He will only allow the finest of fighters to serve under him.
North America Haytham Kenway
- Steadfastness: Our purpose is about order and in order we must conduct ourselves as a constant force. If you so chose to waver in your loyalty, death is your only punishment. - Cruelty: Mercy should not be shown to your enemies, for who are you to assume they will give the same to you? Never let emotions cloud your judgement, and exert force when necessary. There is no time to waste when it comes to obtaining goals. - Tracking: The American Frontier is a harsh and barbaric environment. You must be able to survive and thrive in these conditions. The ability to track and investigate is absolutely necessary. I don't need you dying somewhere in the wilderness due to a tragic but stupid bear mauling incident. - Organization: Be organized about your work and do not idle. I've already had enough idlers in my ranks. Always be ready to work and always have information ready when I need it. - Influential: Often times our work deals with influence, and as such, we might have to convince people in powerful places to work for us or give us what we need. Whether it be convincing through he barrel of a gun or through sharp words, you have to decide on the situation. Words are powerful weapons. Do not forget that.
Caribbean Woodes Rogers
- Persistence: The only way that you are able to work with your enemies is to never falter. Show resilience in the things that you do, and soon they will know that you should always be taken seriously. - Social Standing: No barbaric or insulting characters here. Having good manners, ability to speak to noble and upper classes, and being able to delegate is all a part of the job. - Naval ability: The sea is not for those that are weak in body and mind. Travelling and ability to see both the beautiful and horrid parts of the Caribbean and the New World is a must. - Putting on a good face: Even when facing your deadliest enemy, you must realize that you will always handle all situations with grace and rationality. - Uncompromising: In order for even the most barbaric of people to understand your intentions, you must be uncompromising. Never bend at will, and coupled with persistence, an uncompromising nature is unstoppable.
