The first swing came down heavily on the plant, slicing a leaf clean off.

Taking a small blow to her side, the ghoul grabbed her polearm with both hands, whirling around and slicing through the plant. It was a another clean strike, this time right through its stem, and the plant fell, withering, onto the ground.

Figuring that her best bet of staying alive in this before she could find a way out was to train herself for battle, the ghoul collected her loot before setting off to find a new challenger.
