Kiun was quite close to the borders of the pride, although it was sometimes hard to spot the edge of the border due to the large expansive desert that surrounded them all. It was dry and hot, and generally unpleasant to be in - however Kiun had grown up in the foul weather and was actually rather fond of it. Hot was better than cold, though she didn't mind the hot rain that they got occasionally, it was nice to get some water on the desert ground.
Still, the desert was good for one thing; getting away from the crowds. She had pushed herself in dueling for a long time, but now she'd made a decision to train on her own. Her father often watched her train, and sometimes those barbed remarks cut a little deeper than she would ever, ever admit, so being on her own wasn't too bad.
Still, as the heat beat down on her back, Kiun could feel her muscles aching as she rain drills. Ducking, dodging and throwing attacks at an invisible opponent.Lady Kitania Sorry this took so long to start! <3

The desert seemed to run on for miles upon miles. How had Vaatia ended up here? He had been here for weeks... Months even. Like a complete creeper, he had been stalking the border of the Firelands. He had meant no harm to them, not at all. It was actually quite the opposite. He was highly intrigued by them. He found them to be much like himself... Although he was much more cruel than the good majority of them probably were. He had heard countless tales about the ferocity of this pride... Whether they were true or not, he had yet to find out.
He had been waiting for a lion to emerge from the pride... To come past the border. He didn't want to seem too hostile by stepping paw into their territory, so he had simply been waiting for one to come out on their own. Today was apparently his lucky day. Almost merging against the desert sand was a red lioness. Her black backside and paws stood out heavily. Vaatia watched as she seemed to be fighting the harsh desert air. She must of been training. Alone though? And outside of the pride no less? He found it odd... But this was his chance. Holding his head high, he started to pad towards her, his white fur shining underneath the beating sun and a sly grin upon his maw.
