Fauna was out and about setting up for her daughter's wedding party. She was hoping they would enjoy it since it was always one of her dreams that her daughters would find suitable husbands and that she could have a nice party for them. She had gotten Flora to send out all the invitations and everything. Now she just had to hope that they all showed up. Even if only some showed up, it would still be good enough for her, although she was desperately hoping the whole family plus the family of the soon to be grooms could show up as well.
The brown demon focused her power before making some apple trees shoot out of the ground and some fruit growing vines. She was used to using so much power at once so it wasn't a big deal anymore. A lot had happened and in the end it mellowed her out a bit.Flora came around and looked up at her mom. "Need some help with the decorating?"Fauna lightly smiled as she saw Flora, the one daughter who reminded her so much of herself when she was young. "Well do you think these decorations look nice?"Flora looked at them with a squinted face. "Hmmm...." It took her a while since she was not sure what opinion to give. "I think they look fine, although maybe we should put some sparkles and star decorations over here to symbolize Dark Star and Rhiannon."Fauna nodded her head. "Indeed that sounds lovely." She went over and placed the decorations. "Now we just wait for the guests." She paused for a moment cringing up her face in a half unsure state. "Although I do hope my brother doesn't embarass me or any of you." She looked around to make sure he wasn't there yet. "Well if he does I'll give him a good thumping."

Dark Star padded into the location that it said in the invite, it had been so long since he last saw all his girls together and now all his daughters were grown up?He frowned slightly as he walked.Rhiannon, padded in after her father and looked around before glancing at her mother and sister, she smiled and ran over to them "mother!! flora!!!" She said excitedly before giving them a hug. It had been so long since she last saw any of them.

Sapir walked beside his lifemate, glancing around at the gathering crowds. Yes, 4 was a crowd. He kept his face blank, all too aware of how some people reacted to his presence. He scanned the area, making sure his lifemate would be safe from imminent threat. He held her hand, brushing his mind with hers, needing to feel a little secure in this uncertain moment. A wedding? Hoooow did she convince him of this?TakamiWeddings!!! He loooved weddings! He definitely wasn't shy around weddings. He had his arm around Dru's waist, lightly resting there He'd have no problem meeting her family. Looking around, he spotted Fauna who'd resmebled Dru in looks. He leaned in her to whisper, "Now I know where you get your beautiful looks from!"Sadiratook a deep breath as she clung to Damien's arm. She wasn't afraid, simply nervous. These were new people, supposedly new family and she was a little nervous about meeting them.Her mind brushed his like a lover's tender caress, needing to feel his inner strength she knew was in there. She knew he needed to be a gentleman and introduce her to some of his family. Despite reassurances that his mother and sisters would like her, she couldn't stop the little butterflies in her tummy from fluttering. Are you sure they'll like me?

Damien wrapped an arm around his lifemate and nuzzled her. They will love you. My mother has been worried about me, afraid that I would succumb to the darkness. You have given her one of the greatest gifts a mother of our people can recieve. You've given her her son back. Damien was scanning the area. There was another male here, one of his kind. He smiled though, when he saw who the male was with. Apparently we will get to meet my cousin Luciana's lifemate as well. He nodded in the direction of the couple. Aunt Callista will be giving him hell, I bet. This could be more fun than I thought.Dru grinned and kissed his cheek. "Just wait until you have daughters. Then you won't be so keen on my family's good looks."Luciana leaned into Sapir. She kissed him chastely, "Don't be so tense. Nothing will happen. My cousin Rafe will protect his lifemate and I have you. And my other cousin Damien is already here. My grandfather trained him to be a warrior. Nothing will slip past him, my love. Perhaps even my grandfather will come out for this. You know how wonderful it is to be able to celebrate one's finding their lifemate."Sergio was antsy at the idea of meeting Rhia's parents. What if they didn't like him? What if they did like him? What if her dad tried to kill him? He had to stop thinking that way. He waited a little ways away from Rhia. She looked so happy with her family. He hoped that they would accept him in and he could be happy like that too. "Rhia, are you going to introduce me to your wonderful family?" He bit the bullet and walked over to his mate. Oh how nice that sounded! He smiled, wanting to appear friendly. He offered his hoof to her father. "Greetings."Rafe was nervous. There were so many ponies there already. It would be so much easier if he and Flora had just decided to elope. But that was already out of the question. His relatives had started arriving, and they'd never let him forget that he'd run away on his wedding day. He reached for Flora's mind with his. How's it going out there with everyone?((Don't worry. The others will come too. Just not all in one post. After all, a Carpathian ceremony is a big deal. XD))

She nodded, hoping he was right. She looked to the direction of the other couple and her mood lightened. She wasn't going to be alone in this. She was happy Sapir found his lifemate. I'm glad...I bet his mother's glad too. Hearing of Aunt Cullista giving him hell, her eyes widened at Damien. I hope not too much hell! Poor Sapir... he has no idea does he?
He frowned at that thought. Damn she was right. Even more so, they'll be doubled in beauty on both sides of the family. "We're going to have lots of sons, okay?" He was teasing of course.
Sapir felt eyes on him. two sets. He shifted his attention to the couple watching him and recognized them. Your cousin's Sadira's lifemate. A simple statement. I wonder how Mirage is going to take that.

Fauna watched as everyone was gathering. It was nice to see everything coming together. Although she was kind of curious what family Flora married into. It seemed rather huge to her, but it didn't bug her. She glanced over at her mate and her daughters excited that they were able to show up to. "Well hello there!" She gave Rhiannon a hug before walking over to her mate. "I'm glad you both made it. I was hoping you would attend."Flora hugged her sister back. "So which one of these lucky males did you choose?" She then looked over as Sergio was speaking. "Oh so it's him." She lightly nodded her head towards Segio. "Pleasure to meet you."Marth popped in with his daughter Almedha. Peachy Fresca had been away for sometime, but he wanted to see his nieces with their wedding and all. He plopped himself right next to his sister Fauna "And our family doesn't bite..hard."Fauna turned her head around before giving Marth a look. "Don't you start making our guests and future son in laws uncomfortable. Although it is nice to see you showed up and not on some sort of trip you always seem to disappear on."Marth shrugged. "Well now I just do those to explore the world. They say knowledge is the best medicine and it helps with ignorance."Fauna sighed a bit discontent with how her brother was starting to act, but yet she wasn't as agitated as she usually was. "Well anyways it's nice to meet you Sergio. Don't mind my brother. He's normally this awkward."Almedha walked in behind him. "Cousin Flora and Rhiannon. It's good to see you!" She gave them both a hug. She glanced towards Sergio. "Well I see Rhia has good tastes." She then focused her attention back towards Flora "So which lucky devil did you marry Flora?"Flora looked surprised at first as well before realizing that Rafe had just arrived. As well as the rest of his family. She pointed her hoof towards Rafe. She was
Almedha jumped up into the air all excited and all. "Oh please introduce me to him, he's such a hottie!"Flora blushed a bit embarrassed, but she said back to Rafe in her mind. It's alright, although hopefully you don't mind them. Some in my family tend to get carried away. This one talking to me is my cousin and she wants to meet you if you don't mind.

Dark Star glanced at the male that approached Rhia and nodded his head "Hello, You must be Sergio. I'm Dark Star, nice to finally meet you" he said with a light smile at him. He then glanced at his mate before nuzzling her lightly "Hello, My Dearest Fauna, How have you been?" he asked her.
Rhiannon glances at Sergio, "ah..yes..I'am" she said before gesturing over to the demoness beside her father "this is my mother, Fauna and well my father just sorta introduced himself" she put it with a light smile, and then gestures to Flora "this is one of my sisters Flora, my other one seems to be busy" she put in glancing over at Druantia.

Damien grinned, Probably not. I'm sure he can handle it though. Aunt Callista wouldn't hurt him. Not really. She'd insinuate about Uncle Valzar though.
Druantia smiled a secret little smile, "If that's what you want, Takami, then I suppose that I'll just have to do my best to give it to you." She pulled him toward her parents, "I'm getting the look from Rhia. We had better go say hello."
Luciana couldn't help but giggle, Who is Mirage? Her mother? We'll have to go say hello. It wouldn't be right to be so close to family and not greet them.
She waved to Damien and his lifemate. "Hello Cousin!"
Damien waved back, We are being hailed. Are you up for meeting Luciana?
Sergio smiled, not offended by Math's sudden appearance. "I can see now where Rhia gets her good looks from." He bowed to Fauna. "And you sir, are not without credit." He nodded in recognition to Dark Star.
Rafe smiled and nodded, I would love to meet any family that you have. We can start with your cousin first, if that's what you want.
Nicholai touched down near by. He was scanning the area. Several of his people were here at this gathering. Most of them family. He wasn't quite ready to say hellos yet though, so he stayed to the shadows, just getting a feel for the place.

Fauna for the moment ignored Marth while looking back towards Dark Star and nuzzled him back. "Hello dear, it has been a while, but I have been fine. How have you been?"
Marth watched as the families exchanged greetings and all. He noticed that there was a lot of carpathians. "So good old Flora did find someone afterall. That's good."
Almedha nodded at her dad. "If you want you can come and meet her fiance."
Flora was a bit flustered, but she took a breath in then out. She was nervous from so much attention and she wasn't used to getting it, but still she didn't want to seem like an antisocial demon. "Alright. I guess that works too." She then led the way over towards Rafe. "Well this is Rafe. He's my...lifemate."
Almedha looked at Rafe then at Flora then back to Flora. "So...how far have you gone?" She smirked a bit in a bit of a naughty way.
Flora blushed. "Whoa...let's not ask that first off." She looked back towards Rafe. "This is my cousin Almedha and that's her father Marth. They both tend to be rather bold and outspoken, so I hope you don't mind them. They really are good demons and mean well in their own way."

Oh dear. She bit her lip, feeling a little out of place. This was going to be family though. Luciana? Why not?
Seeing Sapir with Luciana, Sadira smiled softly. It warmed her heart seeing them together. She even relaxed knowing there was another friendly familiar face.
"And so we shall say hello!" He grinned. He secretly wanted both girls and boys. He smiled brighter as she pulled him to her parents.
Yes. Mirage is Sadira's mother. She was turned from being a pure vampire of another type to Carpathian, lifemate to Korai. He smiled at her giggle. he liked that sound. He'll have to work on making her giggle more. To the family, he nodded. So we shall meet and greet the family. He watched Damien and Sadira.

Dark Star thought about it before replying, and glancing at his mate "i've been, well a little on the lonely side but great" he said and glanced at Sergio "ahh..thank you" he stated.
Rhiannon flushed lightly, "most is from my father, i have some aspects of my mom, but Druantia, my sister you will meet soon takes mostly after my mother and Flora also takes mostly after my mom" she explained.

Rafe was outraged at Flora's cousin, Almedha's question. He smiled politely though, and bowed to the new female. "It is a pleasure to meet any of Flora's family." He extended a hoof to Flora, needing the contact with her. Outspoken they may be, but they have no right to ask such questions. If it were your wish, I would chastise the female for such meddling...but I suspect, my beautiful lifemate, that you wouldn't be happy if I did...so I won't. For now.
Rafe's father, Nicholai chose that moment to emerge from the shadows and greet his son and his new daughter. "Look at you now, my boy! No prouder father could there be than one who welcomes his son back into the land of the light!" He clasped Rafe on the forearm in the traditional warrior's greeting. "Long my you stay in the light!"
Rafe smiled and reciprocated, "And you as well, Father." He gestured toward Flora. "Flora, this is my father, Nicholai. Father, this is my lifemate, Flora."
Nicholai bowed low to the green demoness, "It is a pleasure, my daughter, to call you family. And I thank you for the life of my son. His mother would be giving you hugs and kisses, but unfortunately she couldn't make it. And it would be taboo for me to be so forward with you."
Damien guided Sadira to where Luciana and Sapir were. He nodded to his cousin and to her lifemate, to whom he held his arm out to greet traditionally. "It is good to see you, Luciana. You look as radiant as you always have. Allow me to introduce my lifemate, Sadira to you and yours." He put an arm around his lifemate, partially for his comfort and partially to give comfort to her. See? No biting yet...
Luciana beamed moved to hug Sadira. "This is my lifemate Sapir. I believe that Sapir and Sadira already know one another. You two come from the same herd, right?" She was trying to make small talk. She was a little nervous that her cousin and her lifemate wouldn't get along.
Druantia went to hug her mother. "Mother! Father!" He was next on her list to hug. "I'd like to introduce you to Takami. He's mine." She smiled proudly as she twined herself back around him. "We've decided to keep each other."
A brown demoness landed nearby and made her way over to where Druantia and Takami were talking to the others. "It's about time dI got to me my new father!" Temptation smiled. She was much softer than Druanita in her manner. She moved slowly, catiously to hug the male. "Nighthowl is out on a date, and said he's sorry he couldn't make it. But he wants you to know that if you hurt our mama, he's a trained swordsman." She moved off to the side and waved to Fauna, Dark Star, Rhiannon, and Sergio.
"I was not aware your family was so large, my princess. We will have to invite them all over once we get a bigger place." Sergio nodded to the brown demoness. "She's in my herd. I had no clue you were related to her."

Takami bowed elegantly to her parents. The Goblin king may have been a bit of a menace in some things, but the Goblin King always instructed his descendants in etiquette and charm. "The pleasure is mine. I can see where she gets her beauty from."
He grinned at Temptation. "Your brother can be assured, I will not hurt your mother. Though I see you take after your mother and grandmother in beauty."
Already he was going to have his hands full! and that was perfectly fine.He hugged her gently, not wanting to scare her with a more passionate hug.
Key word... yet... She teased, glad for the comfort of his arm around her. "Yes. Our lead female seemed insistent all of us children grew up around each other. I think for everyone's safety."
Sapir watched Damien for a moment before he smiled. "Damien."He nodded his head to Sadira. "Sadira. It's good to see you're doing so well. How is your family?"
"They're doing well. Mother and Aissa haven't met Damien yet. I think mother will like him... Aissa... Aissa's a different story." Aissa's a bit protective of me when we're around each other.
Sapir chuckled. "I'm sure she'll have a miniature lecture waiting for you. "
Sadira grinned. "Oh I'm sure!"

Damien's chest was suddenly gripped in a tight fist and terror consumed him. He made his face a mask in hopes that his cousin and her lifemate wouldn't notice. His hold on Sadira tightened slightly.
He felt as if he were trapped inside his mind, curled up as a child in the fetal position. You two won't decide to gang up on me? Will you? You won't force me with compulsion to be someone who I'm not? Or to suppress me into some sort of living doll?
He sounded frail and weak, and later he would hate himself for it. Right now he was too occupied with fear to worry about how he sounded.
Luciana noticed the change in Damien. She stepped back slowly. Sapir, step back slowly and deliberately.
Her voice was filled with worry for her cousin. You mustn't let on that you've seen a change. I don't know if you noticed or not. It's barely discernible unless you know him. He's reliving the past....the memories of his childhood. He won't hurt us, but he's locked in his own head.
Luciana reached for Sapir's hoof. These used to happen before he lost his emotions. I hoped that they wouldn't come back when he found his lifemate. I can see that they did.

Sadira slipped into his mind with ease as though she'd been there her entire life. Again, she let her spirit become that beacon of light he needed to find his way back. She spoke softly, not wanting to encourage the fear he was experiencing but to soothe him. Baby, come back to me. I need you, Damien.
She sent waves of love, comfort and assurance that he was safe.She curled around the child and smoothed back his mane. Her wouldn't face the horrors alone but she was going to find a way to stop the fear....somehow...
Sapir's shoulders tensed slightly, watching the sudden shift i Damien. He stepped back slowly and cautiously with his lifemate, subtly moving closer to her as he did so. He grasped her hoof. There's never any gaurentee that everything is safe with a lifemate.... They can make it easier though.
