"Left or right, Murderbunny?"
The hare stopped beside her, and sniffed. It hopped a short way down one path, first, sniffing a little more, then the other- but came running back immediately, leaping into her arms.
"Whoaaa." A small paw pointed to the left. "You sure that's the.. right way?"
facepaw.
"Alriiiiiiight then-- hey!" The rabbit had jumped away again, tearing down the path towards the left. "Wait for me, you--"
hsssssssssssssssss.
A large snake slithered towards her from the right; no wonder Murderbunny had been so freaked out. It hit hard, and it also had sharp fangs, most likely poisonous, and it was poising itself to attack again--

The snake got her on the third try, clamping its jaws around her and sending pain shooting up her leg. Ow ow ow ow. Staggering, the white rabbit retreated to the safety of the surrounding trees and crouched, but at the same moment the snake lunged again, fangs sinking into her arm. With a cry she managed to wrench her arm free, and Murderbunny leapt up between them to claw at the snake.

Few more hits, she murmured to herself. She'd managed to deal enough damage to the snake that it, too, was weakening. Using her uninjured leg, she propelled herself at the snake, both daggers slashing viciously into it.

If Justin had been here, no doubt he would have brought bandages or something like that, but he wasn't, so she tore a strip off her scarf and bound it around the snake bite. Still limping slightly, she continued walking- where to, she didn't even know- when another tree twisted into her path.

The tree flailed at her, having expected, perhaps, to come across something small and weak instead of an angry rabbit.
