He supposed that he could count his lucky stars that his minipet moved in to take part of the hit when yet another snake got a preemptive on him, the little creature retreating to his side as soon as he made use of the opportunity to put some distance between himself and his current foe with an irate grunt.

HDM was amused. All the mobs he'd encountered so far had been snakes. This didn't bother him overly much, so he darted in, allowing his mini to join in the fun as he slashed at it with his blade before darting back and out of the way to raise his defenses. DreamWatcher honestly was confused as to why these things just keep attack them. Ears twitching in annoyance, she charges the snake with claws out. "Good Job DW," He grinned as the ghoul hit the snake then took his own turn. Daggers out he charged the beast and gave it a slash before getting one of his own. Ouch, that kind of hurt.

His moves felt kind of off today and that only served to irritate him more than anything, a scowl on his face as he barely managed to kick the snake away from him. "Hmph..."

HDM's next attack wasn't that great, he was actually glad he'd shored up his defenses beforehand as is it mitigated the damage he'd recieved somewhat. He snapped off a quick heal to DreamWatcher, since it looked like the snake had managed to get a good hit on her. Dreamwatcher smiles to HDM as he tossed a heal her way. Downing it quickly, she threw the bottle as she whistles again "March Hare, help me out!" a March Hare appears on her shoulder just as she lunges towards the snake. Sinking her claws into the top of its head, she allows the March Hare to attack as well before she felt the sting from the snake bite.
Jumping back, she raises her hand above her head to heal herself, a smile forming across her lip.

Okay he seriously had to get some of those mini helpers. That was intense. Minipet. For a moment he double took on the ghoul before flying back into battle. The foe turned to soon though as he attacked so he barely scratched the thing with his daggers.

And just when BoW was starting to think that he was hexed or something to the same effect, he seemed to have found his mojo again and he charged the snake with his blade, hacking wildly at it before skipping back to prepare to defend the other Gryphon boil. "Go. I'll cover you..."

HDM was mindful of the defense from the other boil, and made a note to thank him for it later if the oppertunity arose, not that it mattered - it was better that they operated as a team and spread the love around and kept everybody up to maximize the dps output. They had yet to run into an enemy with an enrage timer but he was sure there was one out there. With his last hit he managed to down the snake, and started to dust himself off. That had been a fun fight. BoW lifted a brow when he saw a minipet shake itself free from the remains of the snake and started bouncing happily to rub at his legs. Ah well. Maybe this might prove to be useful...

Feeling the rush of power again, she frowns when she found it wasn't enough. Glancing around, the Cheshire cat grins to the other before she turns and this time heads off in her own direction. She was so close to leveling, she wanted to see what else was out there to kill.

HDM was glad to see his exp meter fill a quarter of the way with the gain of 25 Exp. He was one set closer to his next level.
