[PRP] To Trap a Butterfly <Tefla & Kara>

Tsumetai had found a new Pet. This one is unlike her Mountain Lion Familiar. Which was odd enough seeing she didn't trust felines after what has happened in her past. But this familiar helped her out so she put the familiar in charge of keeping the bunnies outta her field of lilies. With that her and her familiar never travel together. But this new pet was another Soquili. A pretty mare so shy that her own shadow worried her. And now that she was lost what was Tsumetai to do. Sighing as she thought that something evil could have gotten to her new pet sent shivers down her spin.

She wasn't a fan of the dark all that much. Her glowing lilies could pull unwanted eyes to look at her. The white of her coat didn't help either. Sometimes she wished she had a black coat like her brother. "Kokoro" She cries out trying to be loud enough to be heard but soft enough to still hear the sounds around her. Maybe she should have made her familiar come with her. It was scary out and about at this hour and with no moon light either. Pouting a bit more as she calls out her Pet's name again. Her tail swaying as the glowing lily makes it look like a will-o-wisp. Same with the lily on her front leg.

There was just something so relaxing about being able to slink from shadow to shadow without being observed by the casual eye. For Tsaheylu the added bonus was having no moonlight shining down on his form. It made the colors on his pelt much less vibrant and this led to him being able to move more comfortably. The skinwalker had been idle for most of the winter, preferring to den away from the temptation that constantly gnawed at his insides. When the hunger became unbearable he would emerge and make a kill of the first creature he saw before returning to the den.

Now that it was warming up and spring was approaching Tsaheylu felt the invigorated to go and create change. Where as most creatures would be rejoicing the new season Tsaheylu felt it was his duty to crush the dreams of as many individuals that he could get his paws on.

Ears swiveled to and fro before catching a faint call on the breeze. Tsaheylu gave a silent bark of laughter. It seemed as if his first victim had come to him. His bright green eyes watched the horizon intently, locked on the direction the call had come from. What new play toy had he just stumbled across?

Still calling out for her pet. It shows in her voice that who she is looking for is very important to her. Sighing as she isn't seeing any sight of her pet.. Where the hell could Kokoro have gotten off to. What is she going to do if she can't find Ko. "Kokoro" She calls out again once she realizes that there are no sounds of bugs or birds. She heard stories of this happening. Normally it means something evil is near. She stops in her tracks. Thoughts going over board. Thinking that maybe something got Kokoro. That thought alone had made her uneasy as she bolts forward. The glowing lilies still looking like will-o-wisp moving through the trees.

Trying to find Kokoro even more now. She sizes down and starts flight looking more and more until she hits something soft and fluffy. Oh god what did she fly into?? Slowly looking as what it was. She couldn't tell with how small she is and how close she is to it. Maybe it would think that a bug hit them and just ignore her. Her wings flutter as she isn't sure what to do. Backing up to take a look would be wise. But what if it was something evil.. She shivers at the thought.

At first Tsaheylu thought he was imagining things. His hearing was still excellent so why was it that when he rounded the corner that he'd been hiding behind there was nothing to see on the horizon? Puzzled Tsaheylu scented the air around him before picking up a light floral scent that had recently passed by the area. He could tell that it was fresh as it still lingered strongly in the air. Narrowing his eyes he scanned the vicinity before frowning. There was still no one in sight.

"Something fishy is going on here," Tsaheylu's voice echoed in the night before he felt, rather than saw something crash into him. Bright green orbs spotted the movement of a white object fluttering away from his body and he felt his muscles tense. "What is this? Some sort of tiny little bug?" His eyes widened as his tail swatted the air near the object. Recognition struck the skinwalker at that moment. He shifted to his panther form suddenly and sprang towards the shrunken flutter.

Tsumetai had moved away from the soft fluffy thing she bumped into. Seeing this black and rainbow thing turn from a Soquili figure to a panther form freaked her out. She shifts her size to be fully sized in her normal height. Then rearing up and kicking at this feline figure to force it to move away from her. She knows that she is in trouble now. She should have brought her familiar with her this time as a look out like she would normally do at night. Once her hooves touch the ground she turns quickly and bolts trying to put space between her and this skinwalker.

Why? Why does it have to be a skinwalker that she bumped into. Oddly she had to admit that this skinwalker had a pretty coat. Shaking her head. "Not the time for those thoughts. Come on and run.. Faster.. Must be faster." She shouts to yourself so that she might be able to get away from this Skinwalker by weaving through the trees. But after all the stories she head heard. No one has gotten away from a skinwalker by just running from them that she had known of. In mid run she recalls that Kokoro is out there somewhere.

Turning back around as she has to find Kokoro no matter what. Kokoro wouldn't last long if a skinwalker got her. At this point in time Tsumetai's mind set has forgotten the danger herself is in. Once getting closer to where the panther is then leaps onto a big rock nearby as she pushes herself up off of the ground and into a jump. This might work or it might fail as she then resizes to be smaller so that her wings can take her into flight. She is doing this so that she can go back to looking for her friend after all Kokoro is important to her and she wants to make sure that her friend is ok and safe.

To a catwalker there is nothing better than a good old fashioned chase. Tsaheylu's gaze widened perceptively as the tiny bug suddenly became a much larger mare. A slight tilt of his head and a twitch of his tail were the only movements he made before stretching languorously. All in all this was shaping up to be an interesting night. As the mare turned around and started thundering back towards him Tsaheylu felt his muscles twitch before he let loose with a yawn.

There was no effort to move aside as the mare barreled down on his location but as she shrunk to a smaller form Tsaheylu pushed himself off the ground. His intent shone clearly in his eyes as he tracked the now tiny mare. He'd pin her to the ground if it came down to it. Mainly though this shrunken Soquili was acting just like a tiny plaything. Something that he could and would chase down for sport.

So to set the picture, Tsaheylu didn't bother chasing Tsumetai while she was in her normal form, but as soon as she turned around and shrunk down .. that is when he moved. His intent is to pin her to the ground or catch her in his paws.

Seeing paws closing in on her from both sides as she panics and starts to fly backwards to get away from the paws. What was going on? He didn't move before so why was he coming at her now. Having to admit to herself that she did really love his coat but he is a feline skinwalker. This is a dangerous spot she has put herself into and now getting out was going to be hard. But all that she cares about right now is that Kokoro her friend is ok. Then a thought took over her mind. If he had a hold of her then Kokoro would be outta danger. Shaking her head as she didn't like that thought but it wasn't wrong. That isn't going to stop her from trying to get away though. Doing everything in her power to get away from him because if he wishes then she might become his lunch. Not something she wants to do.
