Philomela was stacking all the objects in perfect order by height and weight. A base made out of rocks, then the halves of shells from nuts, the next layer of sticks, a layer of leaves, and next would come the layer flowers, the lightest of them all. She bit her lip as she placed a dandelion and the wind rustled the leaves underneath. One wrong move and this would all go to waste, like most of her tower creations, it was temporary.

Quan had been wondering the, his forest. Enjoying his solitude and listening to the babbling of the watery brooks and slivers of streams that ran thought the forest. To the rustling of the leaves up above his head in the tree tops. While listening to the music of the forest he strolled though the undergrowth of the forest on his usual casual stroll.
Quan flickered his ear as he started to pick up an somewhat unusual sound. He paused and turned his head toward the sound. It sounded like the clicking of stones together. Quan made curious by the sound started toward the sound. Soon he happened upon a brown, purple, pink girl messing around on the forest floor. He watched her carefully, it wasn't every day he ran into someone. Mainly because he tried to avoid others at almost any cost.
The Girl seemed to be focusing on the structure in front of her. It was made of stone, which must have been the clicking he had heard earlier, sticks and leaves. He was quietly watching as she started on a layer of flowers with the utmost care.

She placed a last white dandelion on top and stared at her work, proud for the moment. In through the tree tops came the rustle and whistle. Her smile was wiped away as she knew what was coming, the wind. As the wind shifted down through the trees it reached her structure which rattled and shook as it overtook it. Soon, it became too much. Bits of dirt escaped first followed by a blade of grass and then the top of the tower with the flowers. The base was strong but the top too light, too beautiful, and carried away like all things of beauty. They never lasted long, only a whisper in the wind. But the bottom, the ugliest by some people's standards, the sturdiest, the most resilient lasted until the very end. A shell rolled out from the bottom and the whole structure collapsed on itself.
She sighed lightly. Although saddened by the loss of her tower, it was beautiful and mathematical to watch it fall. Her smile returned as a burst of sunlight escaped through the top canopy of leaves and shed light onto her face. "What a lovely day..." She murmured.

Quan watched as the female lightly finish her sculpture. He flickered his ears as he heard the increase of the sound of the rusting from the trees. He too knew what was coming as he felt the light rush of wind that raced through the trunks of the trees. The structure didn't last long against the wind and quickly got demolished into the wind. He watched as the light dandelions got carried on the wings on the wind and turned back to the back of the female in front of him. She seemed to be sad for a few moments then turned happy again as she watched her little building. Then glazed up toward and in between the crack of the tree tops with her eyes shielded."What a lovely day..." Quan paused a moment before reply to her muse "It is..." his voice drifted from behind her. He walked a bit out from behind the trees and bushes so he wasn't so hidden as he watched her.

She turned suddenly at the sound. When she builds she goes into one of those 'states'. Oblivion her sister calls it. Concentration says her mothers. One where ideas bubble and bloom in absolute silence when she blocks out the rest of the world. But that silence crumbles with her buildings and thus she is thrown back into this world full of light and noise.
"Who's there!?" She cries out nervously turning around startled as her voice wavers in its resolve. Her eyes caught the sight of that of a proud long and elegant dragon. One made up of the colors of the forest itself -- the greens, golds, browns, and oranges. He blended in perfectly. A stray of light from the every shifting leaves flickered across his figure illuminating and highlighting his intricate golden design. It was stunning. Truly one of nature's most marvelous creations.
She drew her breath back in quickly and held it awaiting a reply.

Quan stood still as the girl swirled around shocked by his voice and calling out wondering who was there in a wavering voice. He frowned at that. He stepped out a bit more and watched as she took him in. He let out a sigh as he looked at her. He matched her pink eyes with his orange glaze
“Maybe you should answer your own question. Why and what are you doing here?” He asked as he stood tall looking over her with his orange eyes. He had never seen her in his forest before. He continued to look down at her, he usually kept himself isolated in these mountains, his mountains, with the only company of the animals and plants.

His eyes burned like the embers that originally gave birth to the fertile ground that is the forest that surrounds them both now. She could see in them passion. But passion is a strong emotional force that acts strong against the logical mind. It can burn bright with anger or with happiness and pleasure purely at the will of the user. She never did understand it as she was much more of the logical thinker in the family while her sister got the 'feelings' side.
He turned the question back on her and with that question she felt the force of the mountains themselves. She felt like he could move the mountains themselves with a whim of his passion, a flick of his tail, his internal force. She took a step backwards feeling like she was being pushed away. That she was somewhere she had no right of being. Her mind flickered through thoughts and answers to his question. "I wanted to get away." Her eyes widened in shock as the truth came out. Was this the most logical course? It mattered no longer as she had already answered. She looked away as she spit the rest out. "Away from the city, the people."

Quan frowned at the girl before him; she seemed to be inspecting him all the more. When he had returned her question back to her she took a step back from him. He gave a sigh, he really detained messing with others. ”I wanted to get away.” She had started. He noticed that her pink eyes widening as if she was shocked by the truth of this small sentence. This made him confused a bit by this sentence, although he didn’t show it outwardly. Why would such a small sentence make her so shocked? She then looked away and spit the rest of her sentence out. ”Away from the City, the People.” From what he saw she had infinity for nature. His eyes trailed to what was left of the little sculpture building she had made that rested behind her, from the little sculpture she had made told him.
Quan moved his eyes back on to figure before him and he narrowed his orange eyes a bit at her. She had answered one of the questions he asked but she never answered his second question. The question of who she was. “You answered the first question, the question of why you’re here but you never answered my second question… Just who are you?” He asked the girl in front of him again.
Internally he gave a sigh and hoped he didn’t have to ask for a third time. Internally again he looked over the girl, he didn’t have much experience with others much less females. At the moment see seemed to resemble a scared little deer. Was she scared of him…? Ugh… He hated seeing frightened faces. Did he really look so frightening? He guessed he did, but there was no helping it.

He sighed in response to her outburst. Her eyebrows knitted not understanding any of this. None of it was logical and it was driving her mad. She needed to take control back on this situation again... somehow. That's what logic told her to do right now. She turned her face back towards him trying to stand up to her tallest. "My name is Philomela. Now, I've answered your questions, so answer mine." She narrowed her eyes at him and took a step back forward. Internally she was scared and shocked by this creature who had such control of his own emotions, but logic told her not to show this, and thus she didn't.

Quan watched as The girl straightened up and knitted her eyebrows together as if she was frustrated or contemplating something. She lifted her head up to her tallest height. He cracked a smile at this show of bravely. Heh, it was even a bit amusing."My name is Philomela. Now, I've answered your questions, so answer mine."Quan cracked another smiled as the girl who named herself Honoka took a large step forward with her eyes narrowed. He chuckled internally at the display. "As for your question, My name in Quan." He answered with his head held high and coolly.

She felt like he was laughing at her, but nothing she was doing she found very funny. "You have answered one half of my questions." Her back leg began to shake but she swallowed hard continuing. "Why are you here Quan."

((<< where did i get Honoka from? XD)) Quan watched her hesty response. He raised his eye brow at Philomela. "You asked who was there, and I answered. If you had more they were in your mind. For all I am, I am not a mind reader" He responded to the girl and chuckled at his lame excuse of a joke. His eyes zoomed on to her back legs as they began to shake. He returned his to her face when she asked her next question. The question of why he was here... Heh now that was funny. He looked to his left then to the right and then looked back at Philomela. "Why am i here? I live here of course. This forest is my home, where I live, in peace mind you." He said in a some what irritated voice as he looked down at Philomela. (honestly i only saw one question. XD if i'm wrong tell me) ( Quan's Telling a joke~ Run for you lives //Runns around like a chicken with out a head// )

((That was my fault I had a fail moment. >.>)) Her strength was wearing on her and she felt she might faint. This was all too much. She'd come out her to have a nice quiet day to herself building and relaxing but he had shown up and thrown everything askew. She'd come here to escape from people only to end up running into one very large one. Even if this was his home this was no way to treat a guest. "My apologizes for entering into your home..." she looks around from side to side skeptical that a whole forest could be ones home "unannounced. I shall leave now if that is what you wish."((also she did ask him earlier to respond in kind to his original questions but no worries this follows the RP))

(ah really?? sorry XD) Quan turned back to face her. He raised one of his eyebrows at the start of her section sentence... "No, it's alright. The forest is open to all unless they want to harm or cause trouble to it." He gave out a sigh and looked away. Was all this turning into a big mess? what a pain...he thought internally with another sigh internally. He looked at her at a side glance. She seemed a bit weak. He lowered his head and took a closer look at her. "Hey, are you alright? Your not feeling sick are you?" He asked her

Well this was all turning out quite a bit differently than she'd originally imagined it all. Although she was never the emotional one within this single conversation she'd felt a large variety of emotions she did not normally feel and honestly it had left her exhausted. She sighed and sat back finally giving up and into it all. No use putting on the good fight any longer if she wasn't at risk nor did she have the need to impress anyone. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply taking in the forest air. "I'm a bit exhausted is all..."
