Having only grazed Dotdotdot the first time, the snake lunged again. Dotdotdot used this opportunity to strike it when it got close enough.

The snake seemed to be learning because the next time Dotdotdot waited for it to attack, but not only did it attack her with its jaws, it swiped at her with its tail as well.

Dotdotdot attacked the snake again. It was on the verge of death, Dotdotdot could tell, but it wasn't quite dead yet.
