Well, it wasn't a snake, but it was snakelike. Robert decided to guard himself well this turn, and see how it treated the rest of his group.

Apparently Nightbloom wasn't going to hold back on their one either. Rearing her Cheshire Cat claws back, she lunged for the thing and brought the sharp points right across the creature's head.

This was supposed to be the0racle's grand entrance, but really she was just sitting at the back of the pack trying to make sure she didn't get hurt because... she was having an off moment and didn't want to charge to the front of the pack.

Although Shadowstep didn't say his thoughts aloud, Nightbloom had a feeling she knew was he was thinking. Smiling with amusement, she moved past him to grab her loot from the battle--but not before chirping a bright, "Not likely" as she walked past.
Perhaps the dungeon just wanted them to stay, and find more delightful things to bash! Robert didn't mind the constant fighting, if only because he'd found himself a little nook of people to fight with.
And that always made everything better.
