"Some plants just want to watch the world burn," Dreadpirate sighed as he looked at his new opponent. He summoned his March Hare. Once again, it would be just the two of them.
The flower got in a good first hit. Dreadpirate knew the minipet would be attacking, so he took the time to heal himself.

His first attack missed - the flower was more agile than the tree had been. He wouldn't let that deter him, though. He gathered his strength and swung again, then a second time on the reverse swing. The March Hare darted forward, spun around, then kicked out with its back legs.
They were doing pretty well together. He was starting to think that minipets might be okay, for all that a lot of them were monsters.

He let the flower's next attack hit, but it rolled off him, as he struck a flurry of furious blows. The little hare gave its all, too. The flower disappeared in an angry shriek. In the end, the only thing that had burned was the flower itself as it died.

The March Hare followed at Dreadpirate's heels as he checked the area for loot. Just in case, he checked his stats as well. Had the flower dropped anything for him? Apparently it had not.
~Rude,~ the voice in his head said. ~All that for nothing.~
The hare gave a sniff that sounded suspiciously judgemental of the result, and perhaps the game in general. (He resolved to keep an eye on the Hare in case it started judging him, too.)
