I work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, as a hit wizard.
My dream job is something in magical law enforcement, I guess. A hit wizard or whatever they're called. Guaranteed to sound cooler than it actually is.
My blood status is muggleborn.
The house I was in was Gryffindor, home of the brave and the stupid.
I was in the class of 2030.
I'm interested in men and women. Am I bi? Ding ding ding, we have a winner!
I'm currently with Beth, my wife.
I may seem like an unfeeling t**t but I'm really a pretty down to earth person, and usually fairly calm and collected. I often try not to or am hesitant to show my emotions, and I always attempt to keep anything from getting under my skin. I’m very serious around people I don’t know, but I know how to joke around with my friends. I hate for other people to get involved or try to help me with my issues or problems, and I insist on keeping a lot of things private and handling them myself. Maybe I’m a bit of an arse, but I generally don’t really care about people’s stupid problems. Could you possibly keep your rants and petty complaints to yourself? It’s distracting and irritating. I can come off as very cold and uncaring, but I’ll generally show a more open side once you get to know me. I can be a little arrogant, and I definitely have an ego. I’ll always tell people straight to their faces what I think of them, without sugarcoating anything, and it’s gotten me in more than one argument or fight.
My background story is not much to tell. I'm a normal person or at least I was, until one time at school I was stressed and during a test I was in for a class I hated with a teacher I hated. She was making me mad and then before I knew it I started to see lights floating around me. I was thinking it was just me but then others started to see them. The lights were bright and floating around and the test was put on hold for some kinda gas leak but afterwords I got a letter to go to some magic school for weirdos and freaks or something like. At first I thought it was joke or a chain letter so I threw it out but then they kept coming and nearly flooding the house. My mum was afraid of what was going on and of me... So now here I am.
School Years
So I'm coming into my second year of this school and my first year was not worth a lick of spit. Other then a few fights with other students for questioning why I should care about changing toothpicks to ravens or junk like that. I've had nothing much happen to me. Friend count 0.
My second year wasn't any better, surprise surprise. Granted I didn't get in any fights that I can remember, but I don't remember making a bunch of friends and sitting around a fire singing "Lean on Me" either. BECAUSE THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. Seriously, I hate this. Didn't learn anything useful anyways. This summer better be decent, or I will literally go mental.
Got a dog over the summer. She's a sweetheart, her name is Betsy. Third year was nothing special. Just more classes to go to. Joy. Only thing of note was that I noticed this girl. Elsie Vass, I think her name is. So what if I think she's pretty? She doesn't exactly seem my type. It doesn't mean I have a crush or anything. I just saw her, is all.
Fourth year consisted of pretty much nothing but me and Elsie glaring at each other. Until she found me trying to actually practice some magic, and took it upon herself to start tutoring me. I was kind of annoyed about the whole thing, but she did help me out for no good reason, and she's alright when you get to know her.
She wrote me over the summer. Let me tell you, it was weird at first, but I guess we got used to each other. I admitted I was attracted to her. She very politely suggested that we'd be better off as friends.
Fifth year was nothing but everyone losing their s**t over owls. There was a ball, too, which Elsie and I went to. Together. But not together. I didn't care- she was dancing with me, and every other single bloke was envious. We're friends. Being friends with her is sort of nice. She even told me I could visit over the summer, so long as her older sister agreed to it.
The summer before sixth I spent most of the summer with Elsie. Her bitchy little sister Morven was there , too, of course, but we managed to ditch her plenty of times. Elsie taught me how to swim, which was probably amusing. For her. My dad sent us his wedding invitation to his new wife at the end of the summer. We flushed it down the crapper.
Sixth year, not much to say. Elsie and I got together at Tanya's mum's wedding to some old geezer. Now we snog regularly. It's basically as good as I thought it would be. I doubt this'll end well, but as of right now, I don't actually care. I like her and she likes me.
Seventh year..... yeah. NEWTs and s**t. Did that. Beth and me started fighting about stuff. The future, mostly. Jobs and what's gonna happen with us when everyone we know seems to be getting married or on the verge of getting engaged. Guess we're coming out of the whole love bird honeymoon phase kicking and screaming. Oh, and our very last morning at Hogwarts, freaking neo Death Eaters attack Hogsmeade. We got out, fast, and I have zero regrets about not staying. Look, I've always been a crappy Gryffindor, and I wasn't going to get myself, my girlfriend, and her younger sister killed because we wanted to play heroes.
Everyone started tying the knot, somehow Beth and I caught the virus, and now we're married. We 'eloped', if you want to call it that. And thank God, because I didn't have to see her sister's resting b***h face at the altar. Anyways. We have a house and we're married and our friends are having a baby, and I'm not as pissed off as I should be about all of this. Beth got a job as a professor, which is awful in that we really only see each other full-time on the weekends, but I'm not moving to Hogsmeade, and she doesn't want to either.
I enjoy coke (the drink), canines, music, air conditioning; thank the gods for air conditioning. Also sports.
I despise hot days, coffee, sand, insects, and coming off as weak.
I'm afraid of hospitals and doctors.
My strengths are most sports, and keeping calm in a stressful situation.
My flaws are making friends, being emotionally attached to people or things.

Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! Actually, no, I don't need to tell you this. My dad left when I was little, alright? He just walked out one summer and that was that. Mum says he "found someone else" and then she usually starts cursing a lot. He calls, sometimes, but no one picks up the phone. He left. He doesn't get to talk to us. And I was in a car accident a couple years ago, with my mum. She almost died, I was pretty severely injured, and we both spent a month or so in the hospital. He didn't even come then.

■ OPTIMISTICElsie has always been an unfailingly positive person, one who tries to see the best in every person she meets and every situation she encounters. She'll always try to find a bright side, no matter how dark things might seem, and she goes through life hoping for the best. She has a great deal of trust in herself and others, so when she's let-down it stings even more. ■ GUILELESSElsie wasn't born yesterday, but she is an almost shockingly genuine person. With her, what you see is always what you get, and she's quite frankly terrible at keeping secrets, especially negative ones. While some people are born manipulators, Elsie is almost the opposite; her ingenuous nature is almost suspicious to those who don't know her. ■ INQUISITIVEFrom a young age, Elsie has always been a very curious person, who asks questions and raises queries almost impulsively. While she is slightly more restrained now as an adult, it's just part of her to question things around her, almost to the point of coming off as nosy or meddlesome. She won't hesitate to ask someone why they're upset or answer a question that was probably meant to be rhetorical. ■ COMPLIANTOccasionally to her detriment, Elsie has always been a very amenable, acquiescent person. She was always an extremely obedient, eager to please child, and while she's certainly old enough to be a good judge of a situation, she does tend to be extremely accommodating in an effort to avoid any conflict or hurt feelings, always thinking of everyone else. ■ THIN-SKINNEDTo her eternal embarrassment, Elsie has always been quite sensitive to criticism or insults, and it's very easy to hurt her feelings or make her feel poorly. While not insecure, she does take things rather seriously, and the realization that she will never be able to please everyone has always been somewhat difficult for her to bear. ■ SELF-EFFACINGElsie is very modest, gracious, and polite. This sounds all well and good, and usually, it is- she's never been one to arrogantly boast about her skills or talents, and she's always treated others the way she'd like to be treated. However, she does tend to put herself in the background, and then feel neglected or cast aside because of it, in a self-fulfilling prophecy.

CHILDHOODElsie was born and Upper Barnton, England, the second-born child of Mitchell Vass and Rhiannon Vass nee Rayhorn, a pureblood wizard and witch, born four years after her older sister Newlyn, and two years before her younger sister Morven. Shortly after Morven's birth, when Elsie was two years old, her mother was killed by a rogue werewolf in the countryside. Her father, having idolized and clung to his wife for so many years, was permanently and irreversibly scarred by the event. He sank into a deep depression, and Elsie and Morven were primarily raised by their older sister. When it came time to attend Hogwarts Elsie was thrilled; she and Morven had been bitter rivals throughout childhood, with her younger sister often viciously mocking and antagonizing her, and her relationship with her father was anything but close.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEARElsie was sorted into Hufflepuff upon her arrival at Hogwarts, much to her delight. She quickly made several new friends due to her outgoing nature, and soon adopted Hogwarts as the home she'd never had, much like her older sister had. However, her happy first year was partly marred by the events of the Fall Festival, in which a few rogue vampires attacked the event, thrown by Hogwarts for students and staff, their families, and the residents of Hogsmeade. Elsie was thrown into a tree at one point, but was not seriously injured, and nor was anyone she loved, much to her relief. SECOND YEARAt the start of Elsie's second year she tried out for her house's quidditch team, and much to her delight, made it as a reserve chaser. She devoted her time to the sport and her studies, all the while dreading her sister's admittance to Hogwarts the next year. THIRD YEARElsie's third year was miserable for her; she discovered her sisters had been hiding a massive secret from her, that being Morven's lycanthropy, after being bit that past summer. She saw their secret-keeping as a betrayal; weren't sisters supposed to share these sort of things? Morven and her refused to speak to one another after Elsie's volatile outburst after hearing the truth, and her faith in Newlyn was shaken. The summer after her third year Elsie's resentment, coupled with her father's suspicions, led to him finding out as well, and all hell broke loose. He tried to kill Morven, and in the process of defending her Newlyn inadvertently killed him in self defense, while Elsie ran to get help. FOURTH YEARIn the aftermath of those events, Elsie's older sister moved the family to Tinworth, and Elsie was extremely subdued, knowing Morven would likely never forgive her. The revelation that a close friend was slowly dying was also crippling to her sense of security, and she busied herself with tutoring a bitingly sarcastic Gryffindor named Dave to distract herself from everything. FIFTH YEARElsie's fifth year was markedly improved, in contrast to the previous two years, anyways. Her friends Tanya and Echo becoming a couple forced her to spend more time with Dave, and the two began to become close friends, in spite of their differences. They even attended the Yule Ball together, although it was platonic. SIXTH YEARBy her sixth year Elsie had begun to develop serious feelings for Dave, and suspected he felt the same. However, she didn't feel confident enough to voice these feelings, afraid of ruining their friendship, until attending Tanya's mother's wedding with him over the winter break. At that point the two got together, resolving to take things slowly. SEVENTH YEARElsie threw herself into preparing for her NEWTs her seventh year, ever the serious student. Her and Dave's fledgling romance was occasionally derailed by bickering, as the two began to see that they had sometimes wildly different opinions on how their relationship should continue. At the very end of the year, as students began to make the journey home, Hogsmeade was attack by a group of neo Death Eaters. Much to Elsie's despair, Dave quickly apparated them and Morven out of danger, and convinced her that returning was too dangerous to risk.
POST GRADUATIONAfter graduation, Elsie, disappointed that she would have to wait a good five years before she could apply to teach at Hogwarts, got a job at Flourish and Blott's in Diagon Alley, working as a cashier and part-time tutor during the summer months. She and Dave moved in together, and after a period of disagreements had a heart to heart and ended up improving on the way they communicated with one another. Three years out of Hogwarts they married, quietly eloping not very long after the marriage of their close friends Tanya and Echo. As soon as Elsie turned twenty three she sent in her application to Hogwarts, her heart on becoming a professor there, with Dave's encouragement. Three years later after a birth control mishap, she gave birth to a daughter, Celeste.
