Okay, so this was crazy.

Ash argued with herself as she padded through the grass of the park, her slender tail held high and proud behind her. She was out, in the dark, in a wide open space, and she could feel chaos auras nearby... and for what? Stupid shiny stones that fell from the sky?

Well, if she were being scientific, she'd call them meteors, but for all intents and purposes... they were rocks. Shiny, but rocks. What was she, some sort of stone-loving... thing? The silver cat shook herself all over and continued on her way. To think, a lady as sophisticated at herself, drawn out here to seek out rocks...

The mental tirade went on as the slender form wove to and fro, searching for she knew not what. Some sort of answer, SOMETHING, to explain this strange feeling that had been nagging at her since yesterday.

Her ears flicked as she crept around the edges of the park, bright green eyes so wide before she scooted forward to search for one.
“Ahhh is it bioluminescence? What is it what is it?” She demanded of no one in particular.

“SO bright, so bright!” She chirruped. Her ears moved back and forth and she wondered what they were, they seemed so much like a star seed, just IMAGINE if she could provide one. Of course…there felt like a lot of order cats here too, her little bobtail waved back and forth as she considered before she bounded back towards a tree and clamored up its branches before racing strait down again.

“This will be interesting shan’t it!” She called to every ear that would listen.

Snowball had been wary of the feelings he was gaining from well where ever it was coming. His ears laid back a bit when he'd seen the meteor shower from the house. Granted it didn't help he had to put up with a big and sometimes overly excited dog that tried to chase this shower.

He had stopped to groom a burr from his fur listening and watching the other cats while minding everyone's energy. There was no interest in fighting those of Chaos this hour muchless deal with their ideals of things. Mainly because of all the research he'd done, never had a meteor shower -- that he could find on record -- show anything of this brightness. Granted normal humans that studied these sorts of things probably didn't even know what they were looking for.

Purple eyes searched the crowd and their surroundings for hints. He was also making sure it wasn't something that wanted to eat them. After all he'd just had a nice warm bath with coconut scented shampoo not too many days ago and he wasn't feeling the need to get muddy or his fur matted again anytime soon.

THIS WAS A BLESSING FROM THE HEAVENS.

It had to be. There was no other way around it, like hello. Shinny things were falling from the sky and who loved shiny more then anything in the world, Pippin of course. So there was absolutely 100% no doubt that he wasn't coming. If there were shiny things involved, it involved him as well.

As he walked up, he grinned from ear to ear. He was like a kid at a candy shop and the closer he got the more his fur started to tingle. His eyes grew big as he got closer to the shiny balls of light. It was heaven, Pippin was in heaven. Expect for Khayman, Vanadis, and his animals weren't there so he wasn't truly in heaven but close enough right?

Speaking of which his protector should be around here somewhere right? He looked around and spotted some other mauvians and gave a heavy sigh. Not only were they not the right person he was looking for but they were stepping on his toes. These were his shiny little balls and no one was suppose to touch. He was ok with Khayman because who isn't ok with a fuzzy warm hug and cuddles until you fall asleep. So in the little munchkin's mind this was his and the rest of the mauvians needed to leave, leave right now.

Like many of the other cats drawn out in search of the strange falling lights from the meteor shower Dahlia too had made her way to the park that evening, curiosity perked. Though... the nearer she drew and the more cats she noticed the less and less interested she was becoming in some silly meteor shower.

Had she ever seen so many Guardians gathered at one place and one time? She passed cat after cat in the distance, each completely new and unfamiliar to her. And she could feel plenty more of them scattered around the park. It was hard to believe there were even this many Mauvians in Destiny City!

Her attention no longer on the sky or ground Dahlia instead began to study the many cats who had come to gather in the park. Ears up, stepping with careful and deliberate steps to best show off the beautiful swish of her fur, she sauntered around, bi colored eyes taking in each cat she happened across. Hell.. maybe she'd even gather some information too through snooping and eavesdropping. Why do the work when you could get someone else to do it for you?

Sheena was always up for an adventure and certainly the type to rush in head first, so she was all over looking for the strange meteors that had fallin from the sky the night before. She head to the park which was becoming a common meeting place for her with certain other, but she was a bit surprised tonight to see and feel so many other mauvians. It certainly peeked her interest, she had never met most of them and their were chaos signatures too, not that she didn't know there were chaos cats. OF COURSE, she did, but she'd simply never met on as of yet.

Her concentration was momentarily broken in favor of the other's around her looking to see if there was anyone she knew even if she hadn't met to many other mauvians. Really she was pretty certain the number was two.

It was nice still having frosting on her maw. The chubby manx could still lick at it on occasion and keep the sweet flavors left over from that cupcake in the trashcan in her mouth.

Her little paws had easily drawn her to the park after she had her fill of dumpster cupcakes. It mostly had to do with the fact her ears were alert, as if she could sense something in the vicinity. She clearly had not been the only one to notice, since there were other felines dotting the area.

With a subtle tongue flicking out to touch the pink frosting upon her maw, she managed to notice a familiar visor-wearing feline.

"We seem to keep bumping into each other, yes? Ash, right?" With a small giggle, she trotted over, inviting herself over.

Shiny shiny shiny shinyyYyYyYyyyy~~

Tyrus was bounding through the streets of Destiny City as fast as his tiny paws could possibly take him in his feline form. His poor ridiculously long scarf was dragged through who knows what and was sopping wet as he came to a skidding halt in the park.

His bright green eyes widened when he finally realized just how many other Mauvians, both Chaos and Order alike, were around him.

Everything felt so bright and energetic and the whole park was so overwhelming with all of the things! Completely forgetting about the gathering of Mauvians, he ran a few small laps around the park, his tail high in the air. Finally he settled on one area in paricular and he started digging furiously at the ground with his front paws.

He probably looks ridiculous.

The burmilla's ruminations over her sudden bout of insanity were interrupted by a somewhat familiar voice and Ash perked up at the sight of a round, tail-less feline she had met once before.

"Oh! Oh, yes!" She chirped as she picked up her pace to trott over to the older female, pushing her head forward for the traditional nose bump of cats meeting other cats. Still so new, it was hard for Ash to fully kick the instincts she had grown up with. "Um... *********, right? Oh, I'm so glad to see a familiar face." Even more glad that said familiar face had a wealth of experience behind her, something that just might explain what was going on.

"Have you ever seen anything like this? I would like to know why I'm out here hunting rocks rather than back at HQ, doting over my babies. Granted, I've never really see a meteor shower before, but are they supposed to be that bright?" Words flowed from the silver cat like water, her talkative nature sent into overdrive by the discomfort of something she didn't understand.

Cora had been anxious for a few days now. Ever since this strange feeling had touched her senses she had started acting restless, trying to pinpoint the source of the feeling. And when she had seen the meteor shower, she just knew. That was not typical meteor shower. No, it was something else. And Cora felt she needed to know what exactly it was. Without further note or explanation of where she was about to go she left her home, following her instincts which lead her eventually to the park.

Apparently, she was not the only Mauvian who had felt the same feeling she had, or maybe they were here for another reason? But oh wow, how many of them were! Sure, she had seen a list of names in the mauvian database but seeing them here in person was totally quite different experience. So many mauvians she didn't know.

But then, she spotted one that she certainly knew. "*********>!" the cream colored turkish van exclaimed and with couple jumps she was next to her manx friend, brushing her side against her. After she was done, she turned her attention to Ash, sniffing her curiously. "I don't think I have catched your name before. I'm Cora."

The manx giggled a bit at the greeting she received, but who was she to deny Ash of her head-bumps? As long as the other cat didn't get the lingering pink frosting on her, ********* was okay!

With another subtle lick to the mentioned frosting, she considered the question. She had spent much time in this city now, but meteors that felt so oddly familiar hitting the ground was most certainly not an everyday occurrence.

"I am pretty sure that I have never encountered anything of this sort before. However, I am sure you are out seeking these rocks because you are a cat." With a stray wink, the manx added "...you know what they say about cats and curiosity... right?"

EDIT: The manx's ears perked up as she heard her own named called out before turning to find a familiar little cat. With a nod and a jingle of her collar, she greeted "...evening Cora!"

There had a prickling on his senses these past few days, almost like one of the prickly sort of itches although Liryn had found himself unable to ascertain the source.

It had been kind of maddening, an itch could at least generally be scritched either by paw or (even better) by human hand but this - this, whatever it was just sat there, pinging on his senses whilst remaining tantalisingly out of reach.

Then had come the meteor shower. Liryn had been taking in the evening from the branches of a tree when it happened, taking a brief break from his evening wandering.

He wasn't the most experienced of guardian cats, but something about the falling meteors had struck the little bobtail as not being normal, mayhaps it was the pretty shininess of them - they had shone so brightly and there had been so many - seemingly hundreds.

It was curiosity that had him padding out the next night, purplish eyes bright as he decided to see if he could find one of the shiny rocks that had fallen and his paws had led him to the park.

It seemed however he wasn't the only cat that had decided to hunt about the park and for a moment Liryn paused, his purplish eyes taking in some of the other cats - none of whom were particularly familiar and some of which had chaotic auras.

Eventually with a little shake of his paws however he padded over towards a nearby white furred cat with brown markings and a pretty acorn centred ribbon (Sheena). "Hi, I'm Liryn" he asked cheerfully as he got closer, before adding "Are you looking for shiny rocks too?"
