It had taken some thought. Shadowstep hasn't been in this...game for long, but it became very clear that he wasn't alone in this dream. A few things that had happened reminded him of a certain mishap that had occurred in the prior year. Namely the whole incident at the lake where old memories were dredged up. Between that and the nature of the dream, he had a fairly large suspicion that something was quite amiss with this whole ordeal. He didn't know what might be behind all of this, but it didn't quite feel right to him. If his intuition was right, he might need to find some others soon before things got real intense. As much as it bothered him, he was aware he couldn't do a great deal on his own. Especially since he had found that his abilities were a bit different in this realm. If he was wrong, and this was 'just a game', he supposed there wasn't much harm in it either. With a sigh, he stood before the guild registry NPC with his arms folded over his chest. "Create guild. Name Penumbra."Nothing happened. He apparently wasn't allowed to create a guild without having a few more founding members. Fine. Shadowstep closed his eye and placed a hand to his head. After fulfilling a series of rather unusual tasks, Nightbloom eventually found her way to...here, wherever "here" was. At present, it seemed to be rather sparsely populated in terms of people--other "players" was an appropriate term, she supposed--but there were a number of static figures standing in front of the vast number of emblems that were spread through the room.
So this was one of those guild recruiting places, huh? She was vaguely familiar with the term from past dabblings in games, but truthfully, she wasn't sure if there was anything for her to do here at present. A guild suggested a group of people, and as it was right now, she had only met...one.
Perhaps she'd be back later. As she turned to leave, the ghoul suddenly paused upon noticing one of the figures standing off to the side. Noting that he seemed to be like her--as in, not an NPC--and that he seemed to be in some kind of dilemma, the ghoul hesitated and then trot up to him, hands folded behind her back.

The columns in the grand hallway flickered and for a moment everything stopped, the natural motions of the NPCS and the ambient lighting and scatter effects in the background.
Everything was just unnaturally frozen.
A moment later it picked up again, everything flickering once more, the pristine white floors revealing a strange wireframe underneath it and then something beneath looking at them, just a shadow blotting out the frame-
- And the game continued running again. Normally. The shadow, the skeletal frames of the place, were gone.OOC This is a random event! Anyone here or anyone who posts afterwards could have witnessed the event! Feel free to post ic reactions as neccessary

Opening her mouth to repeat the same message she had just broadcasted before, sweetm00n stared, bug-eyed, as the room flickered and the THING LOOKING AT THEM, her heart jumping into her throat. With a horrified gasp, she lept at the other two player characters in the room, seeking solstice in the only two other things that hadn't frozen. "Ohh my jack did you SEE THAT?? Did you guys see that??" Shadowstep turned as he heard a voice. He stared at the name hovering above her head but the name he saw personally didn't... really make a whole lot of sense. mi6htblaow? He shook his head. "I'm fi-"He cut himself short as everything just froze. The scenery soon flickered out, changing. There was also something below them, staring at them all. And then everything was normal once again. He narrowed his gaze, before looking back up at the white haired female. Two others had witnessed it too apparently. "Good to know I wasn't seeing things, then. Something isn't right here," he muttered under his breath. Perhaps his intuition was right after all about this damn game. All the more reason for him to try and get a group together to prepare for the worse. Letting out a breath, he rolled his shoulders. He turned back to the white haired girl to finish answering her question. "I'm fine. Why wasnt' anyone else screaming? Insistantly, she continued over to the others, waving her arms. You did /not/ just dismiss sweetm00n like that. "Um- hi?? Yeah? You all saw that?? The thing where the floor disappeared?? And ... and -" The thought struck her, and made her congeal in her tracks. What if she had been the only one to see the thing watching. Her brow broke out in cold sweat, and she stood seeping in the horror of it all. Yeah, none of the others saw that. How could they be so cool and calm if they had? As if things were bad enough, Nightbloom was given the start of a lifetime when the world suddenly flickered, the back of her neck suddenly prickling with the feeling of dread. All the NPCs had suddenly frozen, the floor was looking strange, and what in the world was that?!
She instinctively took a step back upon spotting something looking at them, but just as quickly as this strange glitch occurred, it suddenly disappeared. Staring wide-eyed and silent at the ground, she was vaguely aware of the buzzing voices around her, glancing back up only when she heard the other ghoul's panicked tone.
"Huh? Uh...u-uh, yeah. Yeah, I saw that." What the hell was it though? Feeling more than a little unsettled now, she cleared her throat before turning back to the male--Shadowstep, his name said.
"So, you uh. You said you wanted to form a guild, hm? ...Is there something wrong though?" She had, after all, seen him with his hand on his face. Glancing over to the other two then--sweetm00n and bigbadwolf--she offered them a weak smile. She was still a little spooked, to say the least. He had come in to get an idea what Guilds were, Only to see something....flickering and happening on the floor, with something wireframe where the floor once was. And something shadowy on the ground... looking at them!? He Exited the building asap. Guilds could come later. OOC

Nervously fiddling with her whip and sweating bullets, sweetm00n pulled herself back from the brink of pure sweet terror and looked over at the other girl. "Uh.... yyeah! White team ... team." She managed to put a polite smile on her face, though it was still dead white. "Healers for ... grouping and card .. trading. And stuff. Um." Her eyebrows rose a little. "Oh! I saw you at the - the quest...before?" She remembered dashing off ahead of the other two girls there, determined to reach the loot first. Shadowstep eyed the dormouse, then sighed. "Yes. Yes, I saw it," he stated. She seemed a little frantic about what had just happened. He had his concerns about what it meant, but he wasn't about to lose his composure. There were just a lot of questions about what the hell was going on with this dream. "I'm being informed that I need at least two other.. players to form one," he shrugged, then speaks more quietly, "Call me paranoid, but something isn't right with this game. Dream. Whatever you want to call it. I admit I may be needing allies."He looked briefly towards the others, spotting one person pretty much double back out of the guild hall as quickly as they had come. With his arms crossed, he looked between the dormouse and the cat, lightly tapping his fingers as he watched the exchange. "Now that you mention it, we may have crossed paths," Nightbloom admitted, perking up slightly as she blinked at the dormouse, "I've been a little...scattered since arriving here though. It's pretty weird, to say the least."
Taking in Shadowstep's dilemma with a little frown, she glanced around at the tiny group that had formed. "Are you in red too? If so, I could probably help, but then we'd need a third. And sweetm00n is white, so..." So even if she wanted to help, Shadowstep still wouldn't be able to start up a guild. What trouble this was turning out to be.
"And no, you aren't being paranoid. This place makes me uneasy too, and I don't like feeling like I don't have any control over my dreams." Ordinarily, she would be able to easily switch the track of her dreams if she so desired since she was a seasoned lucid dreamer and demon, but this one...
She would have been lying if she said that she didn't want to get out of here. "Yeah. Um. Yeah." She glanced around nervously. "I think - I think I'm going to go - somewhere else for a bit. You know. With more people." After what she had just seen, sweetm00n really wanted to just go somewhere crowded and cling to a stranger. Just to reassure herself that everything was ok. "Um - bye?" She gave a small wave and sent a friends request to both nightbloom and shadowstep. "If you want - if I see any more uh glitches - I can let you know?" Mostly she wanted to add them to have someone to scream to in panic. Sure they were red team, but at least they would be likely to believe her. Though sweetm00n really, really hoped that she wouldn't be seeing any more...things. That one glimpse was enough for her kthanks. "Also, if I see another red - I could let them know you're looking to form a guild?"
