Oh I have! I'm not sure how much of the series I've read - my library had something like 3 graphic novel volumns and I loved them! I definitely want to read more. I just kept hearing other people talk about it and got curious. They're great!

It's a comic series about a group of elves. They have all kinds of "adventures" (also known as troubles) and they have to try to have a bit of a normal life. In the beginning of book one, they save one of the elves, that was captured, and about to be killed, by the humans. Cutter (the chief) kills a man, and in revenge, the humans set fire on the forest where they live. They have to run. Go to the trolls, who say that they'll help them, but drop them of in a desert. That's book one. Then all the trouble and so on starts. But I won't continue with this, I can't make it a short story redface , and you should read everything yourself. That's much more fun. pirate

I love the elves in these books: They may be cute, but they aren't cuddly, unless you think wolves are cuddly. They are fighting for the survival of their species. I also love how the elves aren't humans with pointy ears. They have a totally different though process. I think there's even a story later about a human who is raised by the Wolfrider tribe, and it talks about how she has trouble coping with the differences between her foster family and the humans they say she should be with.

I found a copy of Elfquest at the library. I got it out for my daughter. She enjoyed them so well that she bought the series. She even had one of her books autographed by the artist. I've read a few of hers and enjoyed them

Wow, I can't believe these are still popular! I read them back in the early 90's, and even then they were kinda old. This is the only comic book series I ever got into, the artwork is gorgeous. My favorite elf was always Ember, Cutter's daughter, I wanted to be her.
