I've got one which should be getting able to use sometime soon: Moon Dasher is pretty much mister bad-a** with an axe as big as he is. Aside from his name and him being One of Luna's personal elite, I got nothin' for him.

Been a while since I did anything in here; and I'm trying to get myself more active in the guild again so here we go with another edition of ~UNUSABLE CHARACTER CONCEPTS~ *theme music plays*

Since I did the son of Sombra last; I might as well continue with some more "Canon Kids"

These two are the offspring of Shining Armor and Cadence but they couldn't be more different.

Shining Lance


I originally made Lance for a roleplay involving a war with the changelings. Lance was the captain of the royal guard (like his father before him) however behind his charming princely ways and tactical genius lay the cold heart of a villain. Purposely lengthening the war with the changelings despite having the forces and strategic talent to end it early in a ploy to increase his own authority until he could overthrow the princesses by stealing their power. However the roleplay unfortunately died out before it had a chance to go far.

Lance's second appearance was in yet another changeling war roleplay. This time while not Shining Armor and Cadence's son he was one of their descendants. This Lance had a more Tragic Hero backstory than the villainous Lance of the previous story. He truly was a good and noble prince who cared about his people and the people of Equestria so much that he braved an mission into Changeling controlled lands to rescue anyone who managed to evade capture. However his trusting nature got his soldiers captured or killed by the changelings; Lance barely made it back alive and he lost an eye in the process. The event changed him; turning the charming prince into a brooding warrior consumed with thoughts of revenge against the Changelings. Using magic he learnt from the Crystal Empire archives he replaced his missing eye with that of a changeling's which gave him the ability to see through a changeling's disguise which he used with vicious efficiency. Although this would have grave consequences down the road. Alas much like the other rp this one died out as well.

Star Saber


Star Saber (originally named Radiant Blade but god that name was awful) like Shining Lance was the child of Shining Armor and Cadence although the two never appeared in the same rp as the other. Star Saber was made specifically for a roleplay named "Under New Management" in which Twilight Sparkle was manipulated by the villians into become a tyrant ruler; stealing the magic of the other alicorn princesses. The young prince set out on a quest to find a new generation of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony; unknowingly the bearer of a 7th element; the Element of Hope. In the first iteration of the roleplay Star Saber (then known as *shudder* Radiant Blade) was an Alicorn although in the second attempt at the story he started off as a Unicorn with the intent that upon unleashing the power of the Element of Hope he would ascend to Alicorn status.
