Erythrite was pretty sure she had a good handle on who and what was out there, in this war. At the very least, Ilmenite had given her a pretty good listing of who her enemies and allies were, on a broad scale.
That didn't stop her from being surprised when she felt a clearly chaotic but definitely not-Negaverse aura. She frowned, considering - it was stronger than her, but she was pretty sure that this was a...Dark Mirror Senshi, they were called, and if she was lucky it'd be one who was on the friendly side. If not, there was always lots of running.
So the pink-haired Lieutenant approached, calling out when she saw an attractive woman in black and camouflage. "Hey there!"

Like many battles that Leto was in, she started in her Eternal form. She heard a voice call out to her, which went ignored for the moment as her power exploded around her to push her into her Princess form. Then there was a scream, followed quickly by a snap. There was no emotion on the Princess of Camouflage's face as she dropped the limp body to the ground. She glanced down to watch as the Knight faded away only to be replaced by a teenaged girl- probably not much younger than Leto herself. With a heavy breath, Leto's own outfit shifted and changed back into her regular Eternal Senshi fuku, her wings seemingly sliding into her back and disappearing into her skin. Leto turned slowly to meet the eyes of a Negaverse Lieutenant that was quickly approaching- clearly the girl that had called out to her before the Knight met her untimely demise. Using the back of her gloved hand, she wiped the sweat that was dripping down her forehead and walked towards the Lieutenant. Meeting over a dead body didn't particularly seem like good PR with someone she was meeting for the first time. "Hi," Leto grinned at her, broad and lopsided. She glanced back at the body then back at the Lieutenant. "You can have her starseed if you want. I can't take it," she shrugged as if this was the most casual conversation ever.

Erythrite halted, her breath going out of her lungs at the feeling of the woman's incredibly powerful aura. It was amazing to see someone who could drop an enemy with such efficiency, such grace, such power. That was something she could respect.
She was a little afraid, she had to admit, and it wasn't until she was greeted in a friendly manner that she finally exhaled and let herself relax. Alright, so she was probably not in any kind of danger.
"Not sure what a dead starseed would give me, but thanks for the offer anyway," Erythrite said, and then she curtsied because goddamnit she was a lady. "Lieutenant Erythrite."

An eyebrow raised slightly at the woman in front of her curtsying. "No need for formalities, Erythrite. Royalty shmoyalty, fancy wings doesn't make me fancy and you sure as s**t don't need to curtsy." She waved a dismissive hand in the air. "I'm Leto, please t'meet you." Leto eyed the other girl for a moment, noting how tense she seemed at first. "Alliance or no alliance, I never strike a Negaverse agent first so unless you plan on hitting me or something, you'll be just fine. Really." Holding her hand out to Erythrite to shake on it, her left hand came to rest on her hip. "Er, sorry 'bout the body. I'm not particularly fond of Knights." Her nose scrunched as if she was disgusted by the thought of them.

Erythrite exhaled and let herself relax, extending her hand to shake Leto's. "Oh good, I had a Captain tell me off for flirting with him and I never quite know what the hell to do anymore." She gave a much more casual smile.
"I'm not exactly gonna be bothered by a snapped Order neck, hell, I wish I could do that," she confessed. "Dinky paper fans aren't exactly killing machines."
God, what did one even say to someone that badass? "So, uh, Dark Mirror Court, right?"
Smooth, Ery. Smooth.

"Tell you off for flirting, really? That seems a little extreme," Leto frowned. If those in the Dark Mirror Court were being reprimanded for flirting, Leto would've remained at the bottom of the chain of command ages ago. Shrugging her shoulders slightly, Leto laughed. "Most of us in this war aren't blessed with weapons. Those of us without offensive magic rely solely on our own two hands. Dinky paper fans or not, you could do that. Just takes some good ol' fashioned training." Course, Leto's form of 'training' was probably a little skewed compared to that of the Negaverse. She glanced down at her fuku and back up at Erythrite, "Dark Mirror Court indeedy! Not many others prance around wearing black and these ridiculously long overlays." Fashion wasn't exactly Leto's forte, so she awkwardly changed the subject back to something she knew well, "I can show you some time." She pointed back at the girl on the ground then turned to look back at the Lieutenant. "How to do that, if you wanted."

The idea of training with a literal actual Princess of the Dark Mirror sounded like the best that Erythrite could ask for. Especially one who looked like the most combat-oriented thing around.
"I'd love to train with you, sometime." Being a more effective fighter was always a good goal. Sure, she knew basic self-defense,and she could hit hard and go for the soft areas, but learning how to snap a neck would be awesome.
"So, uh, weird question time." Might as well ask, to assuage her curiosity, sinde she was pretty sure a Princess would be able to answer. "I've been wanting to talk to a Dark Mirror about how your corruption process works, so...how does it work? Is it like when a White Mooner joins us? Do they lose memories?"
'If Cait had known to go to you, would she still be my sister?'

The question made Leto squirm slightly, a little uncomfortable with the entire thing. But she knew that for some people, not losing your memories when you came to Chaos made a huge difference in which faction you chose. She shook her head, "No, you don't lose memories. You end up with a new identity like Negaverse Senshi do, but you remember who you were as a Senshi and civilian. I don't know what a Negaverse transition is like, but with us... You're essentially baptized in a mirror, reborn so to speak." Leto studied the other girl for a moment, before taking a step back. While she was happy to let the Negaverse in on some of the details of the Dark Mirror Court, since the Alliance was 'altered' she was far more wary of the things that she spilled to them. Especially to someone she just met. "If you know of anyone that wants to join the dark side but wants to keep their memories, just give me a call. Or when you're ready to learn how to break necks. Find a mirror and you'll find me." The Eternal of Camouflage flashed the Lieutenant a grin before winking and turning on her heel and disappearing into the night towards the nearest mirror. Erythrite could've screamed, could've punched things or thrown things, because goddamnit, of course that was how it worked, of course a dumb twist of fate was all that made the difference between a sister completely lost and one just on the right side. Instead, she shoved down her emotional reaction and just nodded.
"Okay, thanks - I'll keep that in mind," she said, because okay, she definitely hoped it didn't come up again but you never knew. Maybe someone else could use that information, too.
"See you around, Leto," she called after the other woman, and then she too turned to leave.
