Flicking her tail, she walked slowly across the hot plains feeling the need to find some fresh water or at least a place where she could rest for a moment. It was a rough day and a long one for her. She had been traveling for a long time, since early morning and she needed to find a place to rest her bones.

She wondered where she would go from here. If there was somewhere that was worth seeing or visiting and if there was others she could meet. She was never good at being friends with others. She would come and go from lives so often that it was like a second nature to her. She never really stuck around long enough for anything to materialize or any kind of friendship to blossom. She considered it more like a curse even though it really wasn’t one. She simply liked being alone. She preferred it.

Crossing the wide-open field, she stopped at a small pond. Something she didn’t do very often. She dipped her head down and took in her fill before continuing on. She didn’t know where she was going, but the world was so big she could go anywhere she wanted to. So she traveled for hours with the plains long behind her and the only thing before her were mountains along with some snowy regions as well as a lush green valley. A new placed for her to explore.

Little did she know that she was going to be nearing an area that she shouldn’t be. An area that was run by a pride, a pride she had never encountered before.
