She didn't know how long she had been there, bleeding from the face, the side and arm. It felt like she was dying, but if she was she wouldn't be able to pull her cellphone out of her pocket of the jeans she was wearing. Wait. Serenity tried to open her eyes, but they were blood encrusted from where the back splash had been from Buddington's attack. She could still feel warm blood trickling into her ears.
Serenity shifted, getting to her hand and knee, cradling her broken arm to her chest. One eye was open at this point, trying to focus. This was all very disorentating, and with the pain coupled with everything.. She ended up slipping and falling on her arm again, just like she'd done in the fight. A scream tore through her, the pain in all her wounds causing her to sob out in pain as she just laid back down.
She was going to meet Lila after patrolling. Maybe Lila would find her. This was the bridge near her house after all. "He...help..."

Lila had been waiting for Serenity to meet her, and the later it got, the more worried she became. If something had happened to her girlfriend...well, whoever did it would regret it a lot. She'd actually powered up to go searching, but when she heard Serenity's scream she powered down immediately and ran in the direction it came from.
A noise of horror escaped her lips when she got to the bridge and saw her girlfriend on the ground below it. She quickly kicked off her heels and ran down, sliding a little at the end. "Serenity!"
Good god, what use was being an officer if she couldn't even make sure her girlfriend didn't end up like this?

She was about to give up on anyone finding her. A hand was searching for her phone. Did she even have her phone? Serenity didn't know. Gasping a bit and making a choked noise when she moved too roughly, the petite, white haired teenager whimpered and panted a little before she heard what sounded like sliding and Lila's voice.
Gasping a bit, she picked herself up again, wobbling on her good hand and just looked at the other, trying to get to her feet. Her legs hadn't taken much damage, strain mainly, sore muscles definitely, but if she could just get to her feet without feeling like she was going to puke, this would be find. "D...Delilah. Looking good."
She laughed a little, trying to make light of this horrible situation. She wasn't dead. She was bleeding, yes, but nothing vital was hit. So, she pushed off with her legs, staggered a bit and just wobbled down to her knees all over again. Bad idea.

Delilah smiled faintly, trying to match Serenity's attempt at lightness even as she fell to her knees and drew her girlfriend into her arms. "Wish I could say the same for you, but I hate to tell you, you're a mess," she said, fingers gently stroking her hair. "What happened? And don't tell me you fell, these cuts are too clean..."
That she knew that was scary in and of itself, but if it turned out it was someone powered who had done this...to an innocent civilian, like Serenity? She didn't care who it was, she'd break their ******** face.

The one on her face wasn't that clean. Swallowing a bit, Serenity just gave a laugh and then winced when she moved her cheeks too much and the blood oozed a bit more. She whimpered at that and sighed slowly, leaning heavily against the other and murmured an apology for getting blood all over her.
As for what happened.. Serenity just shook her head and looked away. "I don't... remember.. Can.. Just.. hospital?" She needed a hospital. She really did. As much as Serenty liked staying against Lila this way, she didn't know how much more blood sh could loose.

"Yeah, hospital, let's go now," Delilah agreed, carefully gathering Serenity into her arms and standing up. "Hang onto me, okay? My car's not far, I'll drive you there."
This had happened once before, having to pick up her battered sister at a coffee shop to get her to a hospital. That, though, had been different - Cait had been hurt, yes, but not slowly bleeding to death. "Just hold on, okay Serenity? We'll get you help and everything will be okay."

Serenity nodded and took a deep breath, whimpreing as she was moved and just clung to her girlfriend as best as she could. Swallowing thickly, the white haired teen didn't even kick her feet or try to keep her eyes open at this point. She was so sleepy.
"Gonna nap, m'kay? Got work.. Wake me..." She couldn't even finish her words before she was out again.

Delilah felt panic settling in her chest. "Serenity, no, please, stay awake, please talk to me," she begged, but it was useless - the girl in her arms was out cold. She swallowed and raced up the hill to her car, totally forgetting the shoes she'd left behind. There were more important things than fashion right then, like her girlfriend's health. Maybe even her life, but Delilah did not want to think about the possibility of losing her.
She carefully set Serenity on the backseat, stretching her out, and drove, almost wildly, to the hospital. Lila was starting to feel physically sick with panic herself. Having her unconscious girlfriend in the back of her car was definitely not good for her emotions.
God forbid she ever find out who had done this, because she would be sure to make them regret it very, very much. Nobody got to do this to her girl and live.
