[ In the little town of Fairwell, there is a tournament that is held every 12 years. The winner is bestowed upon by the sword known as Mifune's Edge. Mifune's Edge was created by a well known blacksmith but now deceased, his legacy upon this sword remains. The strong desire and detail that was placed into this sword was given a life. It's soul purpose was to seek out battles. Winning victories, was all the blacksmith desired. To have his sword remain as the best, he asked many to use it on there adventures, where there is battles he wanted Mifune's Edge to be there, to let everyone know that this blade came from Fairwell and was crafted with all his hopes and dreams. The man who crafted this fine blade was named Mifune himself. Every 12 years once a chosen appears and wins the tournament, he is named Mifune. And with the sword of Mifune's Edge, he is to travel the world to hone the skills and sword style that which the traditions were placed upon.
19 years later, A young man appeared wielding a blade style that was soon forgotten by the traditions of the tournament. The boy raised his blade as he swooped through the ranks, finding himself against one of the toughest fighters that Fairwell had. But with a lightning fast strike he won the tournament and was named Mifune. Now he travels the world on his own, at his side the blade which was crafted with a strong desire of war. The boy travels to seek battles. Battles that are only won by hard training and honing his blade skills in battle. He is known as the Mifune The Traveling swordsman.
Little is unknown about Mifune, and how he became Mifune. Since he was young and a little boy, his father desired one thing. The blade known as the Mifune's Edge, in history the blade was used by many great swordsman's. There names graved in the hall of fame which was located in the back halls of the trophy room, where all heroic and devil like men used the blade for the desire of one mans dream. Mifune was given by his father, knowing little to much about the stories, he believed if his son became Mifune, he would be able to obtain the blades true hidden potential. True this got his son picked on by many even by the elder who protected the sword. But his son was like his father, true to his heart and the dreams they both shared. Mifune trained under reading books about the sword styles that the traditions were used in the tournament. Copying them by practicing with a wooden sword, he would use all his intellect to focus on the basics. After 12 years, Mifune was at the age where he was able to enter the tournament. With great determination he promised on his father's gravestone that he would win. After battle, after battle he won with a smirk on his right cheek. Wielding the blade that was once a dream became a reality. Now that Mifune's greatest weapon was in his hands, he left on his journey to for fill the legacy that was carried by many famous swordsman of Fairwell. ]
