Leesa looked to the grey painted skies, hazels shaking in anticipation.

She hated this part. The part where the rain began to fall and in the seconds that followed her whole body would be reluctantly soaked without the choice of running to some form of familiar shelter.

She didn't have a home. Not any more.

Not like she could complain, she chose this nomad lifestyle but it didn't stop her from missing certain things that came with a place to settle.

Turning her eyes away from the sky and on to the sea of green in front, she pushed on, wondering when and where it would end.

Vanya had missed Caym leaving to do whatever it is he does every day. He always says its part of his duty and his job but she wanted to be with him more. She had influenced his choice as to when it was he would leave but it didn't make it any easier to accept the loneliness. He would be gone in the mornings and all day only to return in the evening to be with her. She only hoped that he was being honest with her about being at work. He was a dark one and she knew about all of the looks that he got on a daily basis.

In the back of her mind she always wondered if he was ever tempted and went for one of those lookers. She wanted to be everything he needed and more but he was the one thing holding her back. He didn't want to be such a bad influence on her that she become so tainted and lose her light that he loved so much. They had the conversation before briefly but it stuck in her mind and plagued her like a sickness that couldn't be cured.

Her mind was in complete turmoil as she left their lovely little home and began to wonder around the land aimlessly. She had no target in mind as to where she was traveling today or no particular person she wanted to see. She wanted to walk around in the rain and let it wash away her thoughts and troubles if only it really would help ease her. Conflict and pain seemed to make her eyes shine but it wasn't from Caym, it was from herself. She was the one causing herself pain, confusion and all things negative. The thoughts of Caym being unfaithful to her, betraying her and leaving her was starting to bring a sour taste in her mouth. As her steps slowed and she looked around at all the trees surrounding her, she thought of their past conversations and how much she missed him now, it only caused anxiety and fear to set in about what it was he could really be doing out there without her. She was really starting to lose control and she had no idea what set it all off, it wasn't his fault but she knew he would blame himself.

That thought alone sent her over the edge, she started to feel extreme guilt for thinking and feeling these things. The addled mare stopped her movements completely and just stood there in the rain waiting for everything to stop.

Leesa frowned at her surroundings. She was sick of green, no matter where she turned, all she could see was green.

Stopping in her tracks, she lifted one front hoof and immediately slammed it in to the ground.

It mirrored her frustration, certain that the dull skies and miserable weather wasn't helping any.

Sighing, she closed her eyes for the briefest moment and opened them to the sight of something spectacular.

A brown, gooey, mess.

Her lips slowly twisted upward at their corners as she analysed the goo that had clung to her fetlocks.

She didn't care that once the rain had stopped it would dry to her fluffy feet and coat, making it hard and awkward to get clean again.

She was just happy that for once, in what felt like an eternity, there was something other than the colour green to look at.

Giggling away, in a burst of energy, the mare bounded from her spot down the newly birthed mud trail, splashing and kicking until she was satisfied everything was covered in mud.

She was having SO much fun that she didn't even see the creature she was about to come in to contact with.

A wave of mud did that for her.

Skidding to a halt, the mighty mud wave lifted in to the air and in one, breath-taking moment, covered the other from head to toe.

Leesa gasped, frozen in her stare as she took in the sight of the mutant mud-monster.

Vanya had been so absorbed in her own mind and thoughts she didn't even hear or see the other mare muking and running around in the mud. She snapped her head in the direction of the mare as soon as the mud coated her. A soft growl emitted from her throat, it was something she was not familiar with and didn't even know something like it could come from her. "What do you think your doing?" She growled out the words, she was trying to be the good girl that Caym wanted her to be but at the same time she wanted to be the bad girl she wanted to be so she could be by his side. "I hate you for what you have done." She glared at the mare, she didn't even care that it was their first time meeting or what the mare was even doing. The mare had ruined her pretty image and Caym wouldn't see her in the same light with all the mud caked on her fur when it dried. The thought didn't come to her that she could clean it off before it dried. Anger and nervousness seemed to rule her actions and her words. "Who was stupid enough to give birth to you ignorant mare?" It seemed as if her anger was going to bubble over an imaginary pot and erupt into something unimaginable. She had no idea what she was capable of but she wanted to see just what it was she could do for herself. With one swift move, she shook most of the mud from her body but she still had a big lot covering her face, legs and hair.

Leesa didn't even blink, she couldn't, she just waited.

Waited for a reaction, for the mare to do something so she knew just how 'in the deep' she had gotten herself this time.

In her opinion, people just needed to lighten up.

Things happened and they just needed to get over it.

The other then growled at her, followed by an unhappy scolding.

Leesa's ears fell back against her head and her pupils now pins. Whites stinging and boiling in to thick, red lines from refraining to blink.

She didn't say anything, instead she waited until the mare had finished her tantrum before finally allowing herself the comfort of blinking again.

"Hate?" She chirped abruptly. "Hate!?"

"That's pretty strong, don't'cha' think?" She giggled at the other mare.

So extreme. She immediately labelled her a drama queen and rolled her eyes.

"My mother." She stated, a grin slowly forming across her face.

It may have been rude but she couldn't help it, the other was far more amusing in her rage than she could have expected.

Leaning forward, Leesa kept her eyes firmly on the mare and in a slow, teasing voice she asked "What are you going to do about it, mud-monster?"

Vanya's mind reeled, she didn't expect the other mare to lash back at her, it almost excited her. A grin of her own formed though it was quite a big one. "I've only begun my reign you stupid mare. You don't know who you're messing with. I can loathe you, maim you, torment you or even ignore you if I wanted to, it is my decision and mine alone." Vanya stepped closer to the mare step by step at a slow and even pace. She wanted to chase the stupid mare who had the guts to insult her back, she had courage and she almost admired the mare for it. But at the same time Vanya didn't even really care if the mare lived or died. She wanted to make Caym proud of her, she wanted him to see that he could have her by his side without worry. A hiss escaped her when the emotions started to flood back in from before, she wouldn't allow them to influence her decision. Her actions were for Caym and their future together, nothing else mattered and nothing would change her mind except him.

Leesa brought her head back level with her body, reflecting the pace the other mare was using to close the gap between them step by step.

Now this was an interesting turn of events.

She lifted a brow as the colourful mare ranted on about some kind of reign, like she was a princess or a queen of something or another.

She was having a hard time holding in her laughter because she could picture this tightly wound, uppity mare on some kind of throne built by her daddy.

The type to bat her eyelids and get whatever she wanted. Even a kingdom if it made her happy.

And here she was, messing with the so called almighty.

"Could you now? Bet that makes you feel very special."

"Been so above everyone else and all I'm surprised you have time for some ignorant mare like me..."

Swiping her tail forcefully against the mud stricken ground, she lunged it in the direction of the mare who was taking baby steps towards her and watched the mud pie lift from her lion like tail and soar through the air.

"Special? I don't want to be special..I want to be his." She had no idea what gave the mare the insane idea about her wanting to be special. "Its because of your ignorance that you serve your purpose." Even though the mare had slung more mud on her she was in enough control to speak what was on her mind. Since she let the mare have her little fun, she was done playing around and wanted to take her action. Vanya took off at a full run towards the mare, she was out for blood and wouldn't stop until she couldn't go anymore or made the mare bleed. She wanted to cause someone to suffer, she wanted to see what it would do for her if she got the pleasure to see someone bleed.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 16, 2014 2:45 pm
"Want to be his? What the hell are you talking about!?" Now Leesa was confused.

She could accept the fact the mare wasn't pleased with being covered in mud.

Especially with being of 'royalty' or just simply 'high-maintenance' enough to believe she was.

But now she was just talking crazy.

Crazier yet, she was taking chase.

Eyes widening at the mares sudden movements, she reared in panic, spun and leaped away.

Bucking behind her as she did.

Laughter bellowed from her lips as she darted back up the mud slide she had previously frolicked down.

Thinking this was a game. Only if she knew that the mare had intended on hurting her regardless of what she had done... Rather than from anger, she might have shown some concern.

However, she was still in the mind frame that this was all fun and games and wasn't hesitating to wind her up further.

"I bet whoever he is wants a real lady, like me, not a spoilt little mare like yourself!"

She called back in to the wind, bangs whipping at her cheeks and stinging her eyes.

The other was blurred in the wind and rain and all the while, she was glad she was on the move most of the time, making it easier to manoeuvre in this terrain.

Otherwise, the mare on a mission would have already caught her...

Vanya leapt back and avoided the buck to the face as the mare bucked as she ran in front of her. It didn't occur to her that the mare didn't even know who Caym was, the mere fact that she was talking about being with him instead of her is what broke her. "Dead mare." Vanya growled out as she took off after the mare, anger and jealous boiling over in her emotional pot. She was on a mission to teach this stupid mare a lesson and she was going to see it through no matter what happened. Her hooves thundered against the ground, she didn't care that the mud was splashing up against her making her more dirty. All she could see was the mares blood covering the ground and mixing into the mud. The light that was once inside the mare was extinguished by anger, fear, the feeling of wanting to belong and jealousy. In the patches of grass where there wasn't a lot of mud, her hooves pounded against the ground and she giggled almost because to her it sounded like thunder.
She didn't have to imagine the thunder and lightning though because it was almost as if the storm was with her in agreement. The storm started to take a nasty turn with the wind starting to kick up, lightning streaking through the sky and thunder booming across the land. "Excellent." The word came out in a rush, adrenaline was coursing through her, excitement and anger starting to make her heart beat faster than she thought even possible. She was getting closer to the mare and she couldn't wait to taste the mare's blood.

Under the sound of the wind whistling and whipping at her body, she couldn't hear Vanya's words.

She couldn't hear her hooves beating against the ground because the thunder growled louder at the two of them.

Angry at them.

She gulped when the flash ate the entirety of the sky, blinding her temporarily.

It made her feel dizzy and uneasy.

She had never stared at the sky whilst it was lightning and she screamed as it's anger and fury hit the ground not far from where the two of them were running.

Her heart was pounding in her chest.

So pre-occupied by the brewing ferocity of the storm, she had forgot to check the current whereabouts of the angry mare.

Turning her gaze to the corner of her eyes she saw how close the other had gotten, so close she was almost literally trampling on her tail.

Brows knitting in the middle of her forehead she moved her tail to swipe at the other, only when she did she lost her balance.

Screaming in protest she felt her body lift off the ground momentarily before her body met multiple times with the sloppy terrain.

Down and down she went, the world a spinning disaster.

Landing with a thud at the bottom of the opposing hill, she lifted her battered eye sight to the other.

Panting wildly in her winded state.

Vanya was happy that the gods or who ever was responsible for the storm was on her side and had distracted the mare. "Victory." She knew better than to do a victory yell though she knew that it was well within her sight. She couldn't help but race down the slippery slope, more than eager to reach the mare and make her suffer. Though she knew better than to take the direct approach. A sly smile formed on her lips and as she reached the mare, she brought her hoof down on the mare's tail. "Enjoying the storm?" A soft giggle escaped her after the question, she couldn't help but toy with her. She wanted to play with her and make her break before she decided what else to do with the mare. She looked scared and worried enough but it wasn't good enough for Vanya, she wanted more from her.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 16, 2014 4:28 pm
The other mare was still a blurred figure but Leesa's focus was slowly returning to her.

The shadow was taking her time, not rushing whatever intentions she had in mind.

She was a sitting duck till her eyesight and her breath came back to her.

She could only wonder what she was going to do, now she had her where she wanted her.

Her eyes focused on the turning of the others lips, a smug upturn, like she had done herself proud.

This made Leesa angry.

That the other was happy she was in pain.

Breath coming back at last, it was soon gone again when the other stamped her hoof down on her tail.

An ear-bleeding shriek crawled out of her throat as the pain steered through her body and the throbbing became more and more noticeable.

Whimpering, she had to work out what she was going to do.

Who knows what pain that crazy b***h was going to inflict on her next.

Eyes searching frantically for something, anything, even just an idea she caught the glimpse of a natural weapon she had always had advantage with.

"You think you're clever, do you?" She growled this time, tugging her tail toward her.

"Lets see how long that lasts..."

Vanya sneered at the prey beneath her hoof, she had everything just like she wanted. Everything was finally falling into place for her. She lifted her hoof and with one swift hoof she brought it down and cut into the mare's pretty blue design on her back leg. The blood that came to surface and stained her hoof and hair delighted her. A large wicked grin formed on her lips and she began to laugh. She stepped away from the mare to marvel at the blood seeping from the cut on the mare.
