Bio: When Tylar was 16, he cut through a dark alley to get home quicker. It was there that he met a mysterious woman called Erica. She approached him slowly, as if attempting to seduce him. He tried to flee, but found that shadows blocked his path. She grabbed Tylar and kissed him, a feeling of cold spreading throughout his body, causing him to black out. When he awoke, he found that he could manipulate the shadows around him. He fancied himself a vigilante, preying upon those that do harm to others, but people thought of him as evil, as who uses the shadows to do good? Only evil uses shadows. he tried to explain to people that he is a good person, but people have a hard time believing him. He believes in removing the Veil, because no one should have to be separated from another, simply because they were born different. Or separated because they took their knowledge to new heights, learning about magic. No one should be separated from another because they were cursed with abilities they weren't born with. Like him.
Due to his proper targeting in his vigilantism, as well as the fact he tries to do his work within the law, the police have learned to trust him, to turn a blind eye to what he does. he takes care of things the police cannot, as he isn't limited by search warrants or an set of laws that must be followed to the letter.

Powers: Shadow Manipulation. Can only be done if shadows are nearby.
Description of powers:
Form: Tylar compresses the shadows into an object. As long as he maintains contact the object, it is solid. Form is limited only by Tylar's imagination. He also has used Form to create tentacles to climb up walls.
Focus: Tylar brings the shadows into himself, improving his physical prowess. Focus can increase his speed, strength, reflexes...but only one at a time. He must choose what to increase. He can also use Focus to form a barrier around himself, granting extra protection from kinetic/physical damage.
Cloak: bringing the shadows to him, Tylar can meld into them, effectively vanishing. Cloak provides a sensory boost. If there's a shadow near you, he can see and hear you, though he can only receive input from one location at a time. Tylar can use Cloak to sink into the shadows, teleporting himself to another shadowy location within his line of sight, unless he's been there enough to leave his aura there.
