*Name: Kaštoninė Spalva
*Age:
16
*Sexuality: Pansexual; love is love after all.
*Relationships: Currently, none.
*Family:
Mother|| A well off merchant who has too much time on her hands and too many bad memories to dwell on, she is passive: will go along with whatever is said, and while she get's stuff done enough to survive, she barely interacts with her children. It annoy's her daughter to no end, and both her children harbor an amount of resentment towards her about it.
Brother|| Strong-willed and rambunctious at the age of 10, he is determined to join the military like his sister; and hopes that he'll be able to get in, even if his sister refuses to let him.
Father|| Long deceased, he skipped out on his pregnant wife and child to re-join the Garrison and "relive his glory days,". He died in an encounter with a Titan just outside the wall while he was exceedingly drunk, and he's a bit of a sore spot for Kaštoninė.
*Why'd you join the Scouting Legion:
Pft, why not? Kaštoninė would prefer not to be part of the Garrison, too many bad memories affiliated with her father, and she wasnMt good enough for Military Police; she wouldn't have wanted them and their snooty attitudes anyways. Kaštoninė's main goal is to get out of her house after all, she could honestly care less about which of branch managed to accomplish this; however, she figured the scouting legion would get her farther away from her mother. So she took the chance while she could.
*Personality:
While the girl is small; she's certainly packed with a wide-ranging personality. She can go from being super hyper to not wanting to do anything in an instant. Kaštoninė is extremely strong-willed; she will do things how and when wants, unless threatened. Sometimes this habit gets her in trouble with both her commanding officers, and her teammates. The girl is passionate; hard-working, and feisty; she'll fight to the bone for what she believes in, and'll bite anybody's head off if they try to convince her otherwise. She also lacks tack, and can come off as very sarcastic or snarky; however, she's just trying to communicate best she can. Kaštoninė really is a sweetheart when it all comes down to it. However, underestimate her because of her size; and you'll be in for a surprise, even if she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Lastly, if curiosity killed the cat, well... cat's not dead yet. The girl has a wild sense of curiosity that often gets her into trouble.

*Bio:
16 years ago; on a warm summer afternoon, Kaštoninė was gifted to her wonderful mother... and father. Gifted is stretching it, actually, Kaštoninė was more like a double-edged blessing; while she was adorable, she was just as equally nosy and troublesome. The child would get into anything she could reach, from the glass jar on the second shelf to the cleaning chemicals in the cabinets; she would find herself drenched in another problem day after day, literally. One day coated in flour, the next in sugar or pie, it was a seemingly never-ending cycle that her mother could never break. From day one, it seemed, the child was climbing about like a monkey: from the crib, to the couch, then onto the counters. It only got worse as Kaštoninė got older, and her curiosity grew to almost impossible sizes: the child would never seem to learn her lesson after being hurt, it only spurned her on further. "Why?" Was always the question coming forth from her lips when she learned how to hold a conversation. Why's this? Why's that? Why's and when's and how's and where's, an endless cycle of infinite questions.
However, the questioning stopped after her father left to go re-live the glory days he'd never gotten, re-enlisting into the army and eventually joining the Garrison.
With her mother pregnant and heartbroken, Kaštoninė took it upon herself to care for her. At the age of six, the child cleaned, shopped, and did various other chores for her mother to ease the parting blow. She felt partially responsible for the incident, after all, did her troublemaking drive him away? Did she ask too many questions? The thoughts never ceased to poison the young girls mind, and even today the questions still haunt her. After Kaštoninė's brother, Alpurt, was born, her mother began to slowly heal and recover; distancing from her daughter, and eventually her son. While she put food on the table, gave them clothes and the like, she did not actually speak to them much, besides the sparse good-nights or how are you? Kaštoninė still thinks, to this day, that her mother believes it was her children's fault that her husband left. However, despite the growing distance between her and her mother, Kaštoninė's sense of adventure never went away. Early in the morning you could find her climbing trees or racing other children, easily besting them in both, and as she got older, teaching her brother how to climb; to basically do all the stuff that she does. It was a happy time for the child, even if her mother ignored her, so what? Kaštoninė had all she needed to be happy after all, and she could just teach Alpurt the things he needed to know to survive.
Once again, however, another round of bad news hit the family. Kaštoninė's dad died while he was patching up the walls, drunk off his high end, he was easily caught unawares and snatched up by an abnormal titan. Just like that, any hope of him coming back was extinguished; and the girl's mother managed to withdraw from her children even more. Afterwards, Alpurt was the only person Kaštoninė really had, and together the two children continued to be inseparable; getting into trouble with the shopkeepers and neighbors as seemingly one being. The growing tension between the two and their mother being ignored as much as possible. Eventually, however, the toxic vibe inside the household made Kaštoninė snap, and she announced to her mother that she was going to join the military.
After a long, mostly one-sided conversation, the girl was all set to go, and since her mother made it clear she didn't care; she just had to say goodbye to Alpurt. It was teary, heartfelt, and sappy; as goodbyes between close sibling always are. She promised her brother that she would write often, visit... eh not too much; and made sure he knew to take care of himself first, their mother second. Afterwards, Kaštoninė left for training, then joined the Survey Corps. Not surprisingly, she excels at maneuvering techniques, and has a pretty good handle on speed. She isn't the strongest, however, nor the smartest. While she can point out odd things and solve small problems, don't be giving her complex riddles anytime soon.
