Personality: Silas can be quiet at times and people often mistake his silence for ignorance. He might appear to be a serious and blunt individual, but behind that is someone who can't turn a blind eye to another in need of help. He is a bit stubborn at times and that often gets him into fights.
Bio:
Silas was born in the year 24,261. For the first six years of his life, everything was quite normal for him. He was schooled, had a place to call home, a family to love and love him, and friends.
It was about four months after his sixth birthday that things started to go downhill in his life. One of his friends invited him over to his dads work place which was at a facility that tested different forms of technology. Being curious, he wandered about the building and he accidentally activated a H.P.P.C.(High Power Photon Cutter) and sliced his right arm off. He was found shortly after and rushed to a hospital. It was nothing short of a miracle that he survived considering all the blood he lost. He had his arm replaced with a C-G installment and spent 6 months in rehab. When everything had checked out, he was allowed to go back to his normal life, but nothing would ever be normal again. Even some of his friends called him a freak all because of his arm as did others just to make fun of him. He tolerated it as well as he could, but sometimes he got into fights because of it.
When he was nine, he and his sister Lucy had gone to ice skate at a lake that was close to where they lived. The ice had broken and she fell through. He panicked and desperately looked for a way to reach her, but he was too scared to do anything; all he could do was listen to her pleas for help and watch as she drowned. A few days after his mother had become ill and died shortly after. For no reason when he was ten, his dad just left home and didn't come back. He was on his own.
At thirteen years of age, Silas was offered a job at a major corporation. They made everything: vehicles, electronics, weapons, ect., but it was more than just a manufacturing company. He worked in the electronics department, and was readily learning the in's and out's of many devices the required electricity. He was quite surprised to hear that he was about to undergo a special training and that he received an alias, X.
Over the next five, he learned several forms of combat and how to handle and use many weapons ranging from guns to throwing knives. He became an assassin. Putting his technological know-how to use, he searched various databases to find his father. He had to hack into one or two, but nothing useful came up. He had done various missions, some with others and some on his own. During a leave he took, he met beautiful girl named Krystal and the two enjoyed each others company. For the first time in a while, Silas was actually happy again.
Five months later, it was all over the news that a thug group and pulled a heist and hijacked a vehicle for the escape. The driver of the vehicle was shot and killed only to find out it was Krystal. Silas had suffered enough and now he had something to vent his anger at. It was not easy finding out where the group had run off to, but he finally pieces together the evidence and left.
It was in a casino that he found the people responsible. He knocked on the door where he gathered that they were staying and surprisingly it opened. The one who answered was quickly shot through the head. He entered the room haphazardly and a fight quickly broke out. Silas killed everyone in the room while consequently setting fire to it, but slaughtering those people made something snap inside him. He needed to kill.
When his rampage had ended, the city was nothing more than a smoldering wasteland and he was covered with enough cuts, gashes, and a few bullet holes to look like something not human. Upon returning, Silas had given a full report of his activity and was hospitalized to treat his wounds. His boss was not really fazed by his actions and the two began to discuss what to do next. Silas knew he had screwed up big time and now he was most likely a criminal now. His boss gave him an ultimatum: Either he could go to court for his actions and face justice, or be the test subject or a supposed time machine that they had. Option one was pretty much death-row, but figuring that option two would be painless, he opted for that. If it was a time machine, he would either be sent back in time or further into the future. Either way, this was his choice, not turning back now.
