Powering up came as second nature now. Jumping unnatural distances to get onto roof tops for patrolling came second nature. Needless to say the Senshi of Poison's head might have been getting a tad too big. It showed in the cocky movements as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop, patrolling her area, the small area she claimed as her own simply because it was really close to her own home and the place she wanted to rent with Lila one day. Machholz put her hands behind her back as she landed upon a street light, landing with little noise and peeked around. There was an energy around, she could feel it, but what kind it was, or where it was coming from exactly. Wasn't her strong suit. Figuring out which energies belonged to what faction was hard for her, mainly because she got a bit nervous before every potential battle she would get in. Even meeting nights made her nervous. Meeting Ida, however, made her super excited, so much so she actually actively tried to seek her out once but apparently Ida never powered up that night or was too far away. Ah well, you win some and you lose some. With these kind of thoughts in her head, Machholz jumped off the light and down to the street below, turning a corner down an alleyway. It was dark, smelled like rotting garbage, and yet for some reason she could feel the energy coming from this direction. “You have to keep sharp,” she whispered to herself, swallowing a bit. Quote: Damocles was once again patrolling the city. He had assured his boyfriend that he would take the upmost care in doing so. They both didn't need to be out for the count. So after making Alistair had been taken care of, had every thing he needed and make some super serious promises not to come home broken the blonde left to make his usual patrols. On a normal day, he would have done his usual patrol around the city parks but in light of recent events, Damocles had taken to the inner workings of the city. Sure, there was a greater chance of running into someone, but there less chance of it getting off with out a hitch. So when Damocles sensed an order signature, he stopped for a moment just to think for a second as it approached. He wondered for a moment if it would be someone he ended up knowing, or perhaps it was someone new all together. Either way this night would prove interesting. Deciding to meet it head on, Damocles cut the distance in half and found the girl wandering down an alley and blinked. "You know.. It might just be me, but if I were you, the dark, cramped alley way would be the last place I'd wanna be."

She hesitated for a brief moment as that energy got closer to her and she spun on her heel, looking this way and that for the sign of where it was coming from. Black lips pursed and her hands came out in front of her out of instinct when she heard something. Then there was the voice. It hadn't come from the direction she was looking, so she spun yet again and jumped back at how close he was. "Good thing no one asked you," she said, eyes narrowing. This looked like another Dark Mirror Senshi, for the most part. His clothing seemed to match everyone she's met thus far. Swallowing a lump in her throat, the Senshi of Poison spread her feet apart, getting into a more defensive stance. "I find that your kind and Nega-scum lurk in the dark corners, praying on the innocent civilians." If that's what he was doing, she didn't know, but she was going to assume the worst. Her usually kind face was pulled into a thin, serious expression. With her small stature, she was sure she wasn't threatening looking. That was her element of surprise, however. She used that to her advantage every time she could. Quote: The blonde quirked a brow. Seemed it was bound to be one of those nights after all. "I don't know what the rest of my 'kind' does, but I or my partner don't make a habit of frequenting these alleys. When it comes to the innocent civillians... I'm too busy keeping my people from getting killed by yours. And as for tonight. All I wanted to do was do my patrol rounds and go home." So much for that idea now. "I take it you have no intention of letting me do that now huh?" He said a** he took his own defensive stance. "Can I at least ask your name? Or are you going to keep accusing me of things?"

She narrowed her eyes again at the accusation that her people killed his. It ruffled her feathers. As far as she knew, the Order didn't kill anyone! "I'm Sailor Machholz, and tonight, I'm going to help you pick your poison!" With that said, she rushed the other one, not even wanting to know his name. Hoping to skid to a stop, she threw out an elbow, aiming for his stomach, wanting to wind him and knock him to the ground. She could do this. She could. Machholz had won battles before, and lost some, so she could do this. ...Even if he did feel out of her power level. How was it she was always seeming to get someone out of her power level? Weren't there any lower level people that wanted to destroy the city? Quote: "Nice to meet you Machholz. I am Sailor Damocles." That was all he got before the girl rushed at him. The blonde grabbed her elbow and spun her away. "Can I give you a tip? Let them come to you. Especially in a situation like this. And always make sure you have a way out." She was small though, so that meant a lower center of gravity, which worked in her favor. They might be at different ends, but that didn't mean Damocles had to be rude. Then he waved his hand in the typical come hither motion. "Come on. Show me what you've got Machholz."

She let out a very undignified sound as her elbow was caught so easily and she grunted and squirmed, trying to get it away. Rude! He was supposed to let her hit him! The girl huffed when she was spun out like that and just glowered at him. She was embarrassed she was caught so easily. Here she was thinking this was going to be a quick battle, but it seemed this one wanted to talk. A very un-ladylike growl escaped her as she moved towards him again, hoping to be faster by pushing hard at the start. When she neared him, she jumped up in the air and twisted in an attempt to kick him in the shoulder or head area. It was amazing how high she could jump, all thanks to her training in ice skating. "You talk too much!" Quote: "Sorry." Damocles shrugged. The kick sent him staggering a few steps back. "Very good. Just becareful no one grabs your ankle when you do that. Trust me, it could lead to some really nasty injuries." He smiled, at her as he rolled his shoulder before rushing at her, a punch aimed for her. "You know... My partner tells me that a lot.. Funny since he's the natural born talker." Then the blonde ducked and spun sweeping the senshi's legs out from under her. "Watch your feet too."

"Simply amusing," she squeaked out as she tried to duck the punch. He end up getting her shoulder and with a hiss, she was down on her rump before she could really blink or even move or try to catch herself. Whining a little, the Senshi got to her feet as fast as she could and glared hard at the man before letting out a frustrated noise. She was very noisy today, which probably wasn't exactly a good thing. "I don't care what he says!" Annoyance was prominent in her voice as she jumped at him again, not bothering to kick out. Instead, she put her hands together, aiming to him him upside the head with her hands like she'd seen in movies and video games. Hey, she never said she was a seasoned fighter! Quote: "You don't sound like it's amusing. Believe it or not I'm trying to help here." Though it was up to her entirely if she believed him. The blonde senshi grunted when her hands connected with his skull. "Good.. Do you have training in something?" He asked as he aimed a kick for her side. Then after that he followed with another punch.

Dang it, that was supposed to make him stagger or something! She had only landed when he aimed a kick out, which scrambled to one side to try to dodge, but the punch got her in the side. Grumbling under her breath as she shuffled to one side, Machholz held her side and glared. "I might be. What's it to you?" This... was a quickly losing battle. He was too fluid. Dang it, this wasn't how this was supposed to go. Why did he have to be fluid? It was hard for her to figure out what he was doing. So far, the blond was fighting in a way that was so unfamiliar to her, Machholz was stumped on how to approach him now. Maybe she'd wait for him to come to her this time. Grinning to herself, she got into her stance again and tipped her head in a 'come on' kind of way. "Teach me then. Don't go easy on me just because I'm small." Quote: "Curious. I take classes myself so I was wondering what you took. Is there anything wrong with asking?" She was doing well all things considered. She kept moving, never lingering in the same place more then a few seconds, and for everything he threw at her, she tossed something right back at him. Then she took a stance and he grinned. Now she was getting it. "That wouldn't be fair to you if I did that. It seems like you know the basics though so..." She wanted him to come at her? Fine. He would " Always follow up with something. While its fine to just throw a punch or a kick, throw something after it to keep them off guard. And switch it up too. A punch and then a kick, or vice versa." Two punches, two kicks. Whatever her combo was, it didn't matter. "They can't block everything, so chances are you'll catch them with something. And when you do that's your chance." To either throw more punches or run.

She could really try to dodge everything. It was so much easier on ice skates. "I just skate." She said, answering him. Her anger was boiling down and she actually started to listen to his advice. It was really good advice, Damocles was a very good teacher. It was easy to follow his lead and avoid some of the attacks, but not all of them. A kick got her in the same place in her side as before and she grunted and tried to keep herself moving backwards. Panting lightly, Machholz suddenly pushed herself forward, trying to follow his advice, a punch, then two kicks, switching up which foot she used by mimicking what she'd seen on television. Something to do with spinning or something. It wasn't easy, but she had pretty good balance. The look on her face was now almost.. enjoyment? She liked training, feeling like she was doing something useful and that's what she felt like she was doing now. This would definitely help her in the long run. "I think I'm a pretty quick study." Quote: "You have good balance then.. You're quick on your feet." Explained the kick from rearlier... And then all of a sudden she was on the offensive. "See what happens when you get that window? How it turns?" He asked as he blocked some and got hit by others, whether it was on purpose she actually hit him went undefined. "But be careful not to throw everything at your opponent. You'd want to show off all your tricks and wear yourself out because then you'll be in trouble." And when she shuffled and switched her feet his eyes almost lit up. "Good! If you do that at the last second before you throw a kick, you can really catch them off guard." "You could probably work your skating into this some how. Granted. I don't know how but you'd definately have the edge at that point. You're good at this."

Machholz landed after her last kick and managed to do a back flip to put distance between them before she started panting for real now, laughing breathlessly to herself. She felt really proud of herself. Stamina for fighting and stamina skating were two different things and she would honestly have to get used to it. She sank down a bit, putting her hands on her knees as she breathed long and deep before looking up at him. "You win.. You win.. I can't.." She laughed and swiped her hand over her face, gathering the bit of sweat she'd managed to work up. Now she fanned herself with her hands and just walked around in a circle slowly. She was stretched, and like getting off the ice, you didn't just stop moving. You would do damage to yourself that way. "I know that's not how battles are won, but... If this was a real one I would... Mn, be a mile away by now.." A hand wen to her hair and she pushed her bangs back before laughing. "Okay so... Uh.. Damocles, wasn't it? You... mn, taught me a lot today. I .. This is my thank you, so.. Thank you?" Wow, talk about an awkward turtle moment. Quote: "If anything, I'd say you won. Sure it may not have been an actual fight but you're walking away from it in the end. You even learned something from it." Fidgeting with the knot at his hip, Damocles unfashioned the golden sash from around his waist before handing it to the girl so she could wipe at her face. "Like I said, You did good. You have the basics down.. You just need to work on chaining them together. You might want to look into some actual martial arts classes. It's nothing like skating but you'll get a better concept of how it all works." He crossed his arms, but smiled non the less. "You're welcome. You were fun to teach." He enjoyed doing it. Even if she wasn't super eager to listen at first. "We're not all bad you know. Yeah.. some of us can be hard headed jerks but most times we're actually very nice when you get to know us.... And ya know.. Not calling us scum." He couldn't help but grin slightly.

She took the golden sash and dabbed at her face lightly, murmuring another thank you before she grinned at him and nodded. Martial arts class. She'd have to fit that in her schedule somewhere. Maybe she and Lila could take them as something of a date day. It'd be pretty great, in all honestly. Swallowing a bit, she gave it back to him and just nodded. "Sorry about the scum part. I just.. I guess it's wired into me after meeting so many..." She waggled her hands. "Not so great ones. I think the one I met and liked the most was.. Amytis. She... helped me out in a couple of ways and then made my life harder. The one I didn't enjoy was Acanthite." No, that had been her very first battle and it had been really hard. Of course admitting she was sorry about name calling made her cheeks flush in embarrassment and just laughed a little more. "I guess we should go patrolling our own ways soon, yeah? But look, if I run into you again, I'm pretty sure I'm going to try to win another match with you." She gave him a bit of a wink and put her hands on her hips, breathing still slightly heavy. "I betcha I'll win, too." Quote: "I'm not saying you have to take the classes of course, but it might help you know? Even if you have a friend or two who can possibly help you some how." He shrugged dismissively. It was ultimately up to her. "Hey, it's fine. I'm not made or anything. I mean, we are on opposite playing teams so it's kinda warranted. "I know her." He said almost as soon as the white haired senshi said her name. "She's... kinda on the mend right now, her and my partner both had a run in with... one of you not so great ones.." He said slowly. Damocles had never heard of Acanthite though, and from the tone of the girls voice, Damocles should be on guard if he ever did. "Maybe. I might just head home before I get into anymore trouble." He teased before his grin grew wider. "You're on. And who knows. If you keep pulling kicks like that one earlier, you just might."

Machholz rubbed her nose and just gave another laugh at him, nodding. Amytis seemed fine when she'd spoken to her, but things could change really easy in one day, from what she knew. They each had their own story, their own lives to figure out, their own battles to fight and win, so. She just nodded a little and frowned. "I admit I only know... Ida from my faction right now, I seem to be meeting more of yours than anyone, but.." She trailed off and just sighed, shifting her weight to one foot. "Yeah you get out of here, stay out of trouble! Trouble-maker. I'll com find you if I hear anything bad!" The threat was weak and she ended up giggling afterwards before nodding. "See you around, Damocles. It'll be a fun day when we meet again." With a little half bow, Machholz jumped up onto the nearest roof and looked down at him, waving before she dashed off again. Honestly, she wanted to go home and soak. She wasn't beat up, but she was certainly sore. Quote: "If you come across someone called Penthesilea. I want you to run. I know you might not like hearing that but she is violent." He said quietly. "I don't know a whole lot from my faction either, so believe me when I say I know how you feel. But keep an eye out for someone who calls himself Tantalus. I think you'd like him." ...As long as she didn't mind giant flirts that is. He laughed when she laid down the 'law' and Damocles held his hands up in mock surrender. "I'm going I'm going, and I promise I'll behave for the night and stay out of trouble!" He waved her off as she left before turning and heading home himself. The night had proven interesting indeed.
