Now she was in the sands. After the En Gedi territory. She kept going as if blankly going off in to the world. She was suppose to be a mother, but she didn’t know when. Who would be her mate? Or would she be a single mother. All these thoughts circled her head til she encountered a rather large male walking the sands. As she took a step… she finally felt just out fatigued she was. This male could kill her- he looked like a monster. His shadow sometimes overcastted her, providing a little bit of shade but she had been so thick in her thoughts that she had completely forgotten that she hadn’t eaten in days, and the sun had beat her body down senseless. Soon the shadow turned in to a ghost and when it arrived over her, whatever it was speaking sounded slurred.
Right before she was about to utter a word, she collapsed in to the sands…
When she awoke, she was laid on top of a huge leaf, just about her size. There was a tiny spring nearly seconds away from her and an assortment of cut up meats and berries. Things that, to look around you wouldn’t even be able to imagen where they came from. What.. Happened? Looking around, and finally she heard a rather deep voice.
”Hello.”
She quickly turned around, and by the speed in which she did it, she ended up losing the blood to her head and fell back t a lay right on top of the foods he made.
”Woah now…Easy frail one… easy.” As he slowly helped her back on the leaf, and plucked out the food that stuck to her neck and back. Which caused him to chuckle a little.
”I am not FRAIL!” She growled- but have exhaustedly growled.
”Ah, I see.” He said, sounding like the folk tail of that which brings goodwill and holidays.
When she went to look at him again, he was huge, fluffy, and just big. A giant. ”I’ll fight you.”
”I bet you will win.” As he started to laugh, his laughter erupted out of him. He sounded of someone just jolly, and it reminded her of her sister. Which resulted in making a very disgustingly annoyed face.
”Why are you so big?” The first time she even asked in a somewhat questionally kinder tone.
”Why are you so small?”
”That isn’t very helpful.”
”Did you want me to be?”
”Do whatever you want. Like I care.”
”Well if that is the case.” He laid down beside her and used his body to shade her from the horrid sun.
”What are you doing.”
”Doing as you said. Whatever I want, and right now, that is to care for you.”
”I don’t need anyone to care for me!”
”You don’t need it- but I’m offering. Besides, you’re hungry- and I hunted those specifically for you. It seems the sun has taken its toll yet again. Here, eat up, when you feel better- my wish would be your command. You wish me gone, I will be gone. You wish me here- and I will stay.”
”You don’t want to stay with me. I’m going to be a mother.”
Aamaal smiled widely in surprise. ”Really!? No wonder you fainted in this harsh weather. If that’s the case, I must definitely stay.”
”Um. Yea. No. Why.”
Aamaal looked at her disposition. Tilted his head, she didn’t seem excited or even worried that she was a mother. How could she have let herself faint? Well- no one had control over that, it was hot out here!
”Because you are with cubs. For that, you are sacred, and should be cared for- not alone in the desert where it is relentless, to leave you here alone, is pure torture. That is truly evil.”
Chini looked at him, then started laughing. Turning her head and pulling the food’s leaf closer to her as she tried out some of it. They were small pieces but in abundance. Enough to fill. ”Why do you think ‘we’ are sacred. Just because we carry cubs, doesn’t mean we can’t take care of ourselves.”
”In my pride, we care for our females. Some may be more strict, but some- like I are gentle. We love our wives, and unfortunately, I do not have one yet.” He smiled, content but not extremely happy. ”It is our nature and our duty to care. Showing it is another story. Most aren’t that good at showing it. I had wonderful mothers that provided that and more for us. How to care for a female.”
An eyebrow was raised. ”Ah..huh… So um. That’s good for you. I’m not your wife, and I’m not going to be.”
”I didn’t ask, I wish for my wife to come to that conclusion alone. For now, I am happy just helping and granting wishes.”
”Oh…” She felt sorta stupid now then looked back and started eating it again, when she swallowed she finally asked. ”Why would you want to grant wishes and help. How can you even grant wishes.” Looking around her. ”Get me out of this hell hole would be my single wish probably.”
”Because I feel good when I grant and help out. I do whatever I can to grant another’s wishes. Even if its not the conventional way. I am no God- but if it is in my power. Like leading you out of the heat I can do so, without a second thought.”
Her ears went down… and she kept eating, not being able to say a thing. What could she say, Maybe he was like Tasnim. Just nice in nature, and he seemed like it. Even for a huge thing like him. ”Others can take advantage of kindness. When they don’t appreciate it.”
His ears swirved although they couldn’t be seen by his massive mane. ”I know that…” His voice trailed, then he looked to her. ”Do you wish to take advantage?” His face looked, sincerely kind, not even worried though.
”No…”
”Good.” He smiled yet again and retained a glow about him. His personality was just that. Beautiful no matter how ugly he seemed to look for his hugeness, but his face was cute. Like a chubby cub. ”May I ask, Ms Unknown, for a name in which you would like to be called maybe? I don’t want to call you girl for the remainder of our talks. I am Aamaal, what’s yours?”
Chini looked up at him. As she took another bite of the meat. ”What is this by the way?”
”Sand Lizard~~”
”A LIZARD!! EWWW” As she started to spit out and cough up.
Aamaal started to laughed.
”You can call me Chini’ya’maji.” Looking at him, frustrated but just by looking at him, a smile came out of her, exhaustedly- a small huff.
”Chini’ya’maji… a beautifully enchanting name.” He remarked without a second thought.
She stopped in her tracks then. No one… has ever said a compliment to her, especially in that manner. Immediately she looked away, a slight grunt to her.
He couldn’t help but laugh yet again at her frustrating manner…
