 The city was quiet. Well more or less. Sitting atop one of the apartment buildings, not much sound disturbed the female perched there. She was meeting with a friend and they didn't want to be disturbed. She grinned as she heard the door open. So he finally made it. "Jack! Look, this looks like a perfect place to stay! I can see most of the city from here."
They had only arrived a few days ago and Jenny was ready for a place to call home. Running from scientists for so long it would be much better just to stop and breathe. Jenny was sure that the scientists wouldn't find them for a long while. All her... dead end trails would have them searching everywhere but where the two were currently. She turned to face Jack and leaned back a little. She wasn't scared of falling, she knew she wouldn't.

Jack walked around as he was looking around at the rooftop of the apartment building they were looking at. They weren’t really looking to rent, besides the fact of not being able to hold up a job. Push her over the ledge would you then we could go do our own s**t. Jack turned as Jenny spoke to him looking out over the railing, he wasn’t really nervous about her falling over, more so of Maxwell wanting to push her over Shut up… Walking over to the edge as well he looked out at the view, which was actually really good. ”Yeah this works for me.” While he didn’t really like the rooftops and preferred something more in the middle at least this way they can spy on helicopters possibly searching for them. Though more so they’d be able to avoid the ground search more easily.
He was actually surprised that they hadn’t put out a wanted notice on both of them to the local police yet. It had been just a few days since they escaped so he was sure that the scientists were using almost every resource they had at their expense to do this. ”Beats hiding in an ally way.” He had been hiding in one for a bit until he got caught by the scientists and hauled off, they already knew about him, hell his family took him there but he ran off before they could take him inside. ”Beats that place too…”

Jenny shook her head at the boy. He wasn't thinking big enough for her tastes. "Not the roof dummy. The city! It is perfect." She jumped down off the ledge and back to the roof and walked over to Jack. "I already looked into a room here too. Mysterious lady paid for a months rent two days ago. Then she was murdered and the people don't know it yet. So it's practically open for us to use. Better than a roof anyway."
Jenny turned back towards the view of the city. She took in a deep breath. It became a habit to breathe deeply since they escaped. She loved the air. It wasn't stale and filtered. It was perfect.
