Personality: Copycat, due to the exposure from the "Time Gem", is an erratic and fast talking pony. He tends to constantly steer off topic and usually talks about almost anything on his mind, regardless of how relevant the statement is. Due to the "Time Gem's whispering" to him, he openly responds to in his own whispers.

Copycat is also very open, understanding and kind-hearted. Despite some of his erratic behavior, he's always willing to help his fellow ponies out. Although, he's also known to be pretty secretive, usually beating-around-the-bush with his fast talking and constant off-topic statements. He's a fast thinker, able to solve issues, usually faster then most can, using logic and understanding. However, sometimes he doesn't directly reveal that he know the solution and sometimes gives others the chance to solve their own problems while offering advice.

While studying/researching, Copycat can be completely absorbed in his studies/research. While being focused like that, Copycat can usually be pretty oblivious to the things happening around him. He takes his research very seriously and can get easily mad when someone insults or berates his work.

Bio: Copycat was born around the time before Ponyville was founded, about 500 years ago. He was in flight school for a time, but seemed uninterested in the things they taught. Copycat, unlike the other Pegasi, was interested in magic and wanted to understand it more. He eventually went to Canterlot, still as a colt, to continue his interest in magic. Upon discovering that there were ancient magical artifacts scattered around the world. Wanting to research them, Copycat sent out into the world to go and find them so that he can research/study them further. One artifact that Copycat named "The Time Gem" (which was a magically enchanted bright blue diamond, which at the time Copycat had no idea what it did). Upon placing it in his study, the gem's magical effect to see vivid visions of the future and past (not his own) in his mind. It seemed to be emitting some sort of magical energy that caused Copycat to stop aging after a while. The gem's enchantment caused Copycat to have constant racing and fleeting thoughts (which cause him to look crazy to anypony else). At same point, Copycat learned to cope with these visions that the, now considered curse, had brought him. Copycat use to travel around the world, to multiple countries, and trying to research a way to lift the curse, but has so far been unsuccessful. Copycat finally decided to settle in Canterlot (As he figured he was wasting time by traveling) in order to continue his research and hope that one day he'll find a "cure".
