What is the point of a merchant? They are a middle man, exploiting good natured thieves for their 'baubble' or 'shineies' by trading them next to nothing, then they turn around and barter for the best from crafters such as Mako. The whole process left a sour taste in his mouth; thus he was known as the only trader in the pride that welcomed gypsies coming to him directly or mostly he went out and found his own materials for his crafting. Mako thought it gave his finished products a little more special, but he was by no means boastful or cocky. He was simply an artist that took pride in his work.
Most mornings, Mako'Croft spent most of the day along the outskirts of the pride or along the shore line 'hunting' for materials. In the beginning of his career, Mako would wake up at the crack of dawn every single morning for his morning hunt, but now that he was older he had less lust for life and 'morning' became a relative term. This particular morning had an awful crack about the wind that promised a good joint raking if he didn't wait for the sun to rise further into the sky than he normally liked. But now that the sun was directly above the lands he called home he found himself out wandering just outside of the pride boarders to pick some flowers for an order on his workbench. It wasn't the most glamorous part of the job, but at least it wasn't bug corpses again.
