How long had it been since he'd been to the gym? Too long he feared. It had been a few weeks. Between art projects, working on a Negaverse project, and his own job plus school he'd had very little time to himself, much less to devote to a gym. This wasn't to say that he didn't go on his morning runs - he still did. He went on them every morning, he just didn't go back to bed like he used to though, and he managed a short walk with Cadha after that morning run. He was keeping fit, he wasn't about to slack off completely.
Today though he had found the time to get to the gym, he had gained himself a membership, and in appropriate gym cloths the blond had made his way through the doors, checked in, and glanced about almost shy and unsure of himself - like some duckling looking for someone to follow. The normally confident, if not over confident, general was at a loss with the adults that he spotted and the rather beefed up teenagers. He knew that if he powered up he could put a hurting on any one of them, that he was stronger, and he knew he wasn't in bad shape. But he felt lesser somehow and very unsure of himself. Gripping the handles on the small bag he had brought with him, drink, towel, and change of cloths stuffed into the bag he slowly made his way past the front desk. He had to do this...it would only help him in the long run. It really had been too long if he was feeling uncomfortable He really was the sort who needed a friend with him, someone to talk to and ease him and give him that comfortable feeling he needed. Alas he was without such a person though!

Björn had done his first rotations and was walking in a timed cooldown on one of the treadmills, finishing off his second water bottle for the day. It was hard to stay focused this month- Commerce Casino was hosting the World's Strongest Man for 2014 and the Qualifiers would be the 22 to the 26th. He watched it every year. There were even some competitors of late who had started into the overall sport as young as 17 years old, if not having qualified at that age for the world rankings. Winter? Maybe this winter I can be serious and get enough rankings to qualify as professional. His attention, and a few other of the regulars, was drawn inevitably to the uncertainty making its way into the gym- nothing drew attention quite like NOT wanting attention. Picking out that it was Alex, however, brought a smile to the big guy. He stepped off the treadmill and boomed a greeting while lifting his hand, "Alex! It has been a while!" And he had enough clout in the gym that his attention to the small youth indicated to others to pay no more mind to it. Björn crossed through the aisle between machines to meet the general-c**-civilian in the hall and offer a hand, "I'm sorry I interrupt. Maybe you wanted to get in and out. But you looked uncomfortable, and smiles usually help that. "

It was hard not to look uncomfortable, it really was. He knew that looking like he did, as if he was trying to make himself as small as possible, would only gain him more unwanted attention; it just worked like that. But how could he not feel uncomfortable in a place he rarely went and with people who took working out more serious than he did? Not to mention most of them looked far bigger than him where as he looked rather weak and small...and not at all like them. Even in loose sweat pants and a t-shirt he carried the same usual air about him; which set him apart here.
What snapped hsi attention from the wall, where he'd been staring in an effort to ignore those looking at him, he spotted the source of the voice calling his name. The vice, and especially it's owner, were unforgettable for the blond. Raising a hand he waved back and hurried his way over. "Björn, it has been a while. It's good to see you."
Shaking his head at the others words he offered him a smile. "No. no it's ok. Actually it's good. I was coming here since I had some free time, I've been busy lately, and it's still odd for me to be in such a place - uncomfortable really." As if he hadn't looked uncomfortable enough to say it louder than his words had just. "I'm glad to see a familiar face. You don't mind if I join you, do you?"

"Please do, " Björn leaned, opening his stance to allow Alex to follow and join step back to the treadmills, "Warm up first for you? " "Many new things take time to be comfortable. But I hope I am not." "You have started into college, ja?"

Nodding his head he made to follow a step behind the other, it was comforting to be around someone he knew, but soon wound up walking at the larger males side. "Of course, it's been awhile and I did just get here. The only thing I've had much time for is running every morning. I've unfortunately been busy with college, which I did indeed just start, work, night work...and I'm working on putting a plan into effect. I just...need people who are in need of a job, people who have the same night job as you and I." He stated. He had to get word out and get people to apply for the tea shop. He was banking on enough members of the Negaverse needing jobs, if not he could be screwed or have to bring in civilians.
"I'm actually very comfortable in your company, it's nice to know someone here and to e on friendly terms with them." Flashing a brilliant smile up at the other. Fingers gently combed through his short ashy hair. "Tell me, what have you been up to since we last saw each other? You've been well, yes?" No issues with senshi or knights, none he would need to track down and deal with. While the other was certainly bigger than him, and more built than he was, he had more power hen powered up and the petite blonds protection extended to the strong man. If he were to find out someone had hurt the other he would be hunting them down and dealing with them; painfully.
Maybe Alexandre was also just looking to get into fights with the other side, it had been dry a bit lately, and he needed to relieve some stress and tension and fighting helped. It was also another reason he was here.

Björn led back to the treadmills, hopping on his with the few awkward run steps that were part of the process for older models that didn't stop immediately when the user stepped off. "Jobs-" "Are tricky with our second job. I have to say I haven't picked one up myself. I need to. I don't suppose you will need any heavy lifting and moving," he smiled, not expecting it to be a fit. Alex's plans probably involved very smart things. He smiled down at the small general, glad to be counted among comforts and considerations of care, "I've been good. I do not have so many troubles day or night. I think the size speaks for a lot." Maybe it is not so good if I am supposed to kill enemies, if they do not fight me much. But I haven't been stopped in gathering quota in a long time.

Tilting his head as he set his bag down on the ground, slate eyes on the taller figure, as he settled into stretching his limbs. Listening as the other spoke, one leg lifted behind him and held for several moments before the other received the same treatment.
"Actually I likely will. It's a tea shop. So I'll be moving product around the back, and putting things out into the shop, from the back room, late at night. It's to...help with our other job." He said with a bright smile and bobbed his head at the others words. "I think so as well - I can see where it would. I'm glad you've been well." He was very glad the other seemed to be doing well, that no one was giving him a hard time.
"If you want, when I'm hiring people, I'll hire you. It'll pay, like a normal job will, but it'll be serving a second purpose as well. I can't say the job is stable, I'm working to ensure it isn't figured out by the others. But anything can happen." He wasn't going to go giving false promises or illusions of a permanent job when it could come crashing down about them at any given time, or rather any given night.

"Really?" A use for him in a 'real job' sort of setting was surprising and marvelous. Stability or no, it would be welcome to have something to be able to account to and do that was money, socialization and not just training and more training. "Anything can. But if I can be there, even for job, I will be happy to help with the anything, too. Maybe it won't be so likely, or so bad, if I am helping with boxes. If size is intimidating regularly, why not when working a second job, too? " "Will you be working as the owner? or Manager? " Alex in some sort of general retail job just didn't fit his image in his head of the small man. "Will there be uniforms?"

"Yes, really. I could use you I'm sure and I'm looking to help, by providing jobs, to those who work our night job. So if you need a job I'm more than happy to take employ you." Sincere and honest as he spoke with a bright smile in place. Blond hair was swept back from his face, he'd been letting it grow out again slowly. It wasn't that he was trying to let his hair grow back to it's previous length but he just hadn't dropped by Caleb's place recently; too busy really.
"I'm not sure what size boxes we'll be getting in but some I'm sure will be heavy, especially for someone my size." Powered up he was strong but as a civilian he was not nearly as strong. While he spoke for himself he didn't know who else would be working for him so couldn't speak for them really, they might be able to move boxes easily, but having the strong man around would help them and it would obviously help the other.
Shifting as he tilted his head, a thoughtful look coming across his features. "I suppose as the owner, since it is my idea. I'll have two others helping me, a right and left hand sort to speak. Both officers also. One will help with the paper work while the other has the connections to get product to sell, she's also helped me with design." He didn't mind sharing power, even if he did like the idea of having some power, when doing so made sure it all worked well. If he wanted this whole thing to succeed he needed the best people involved and needed to place everyone right. "Yeah, something basic really. I'll make sure to have proper sizes and something flattering for everyone."
Moving to take up a place on one of the treadmills the blond was settling into an easy pace as he watched the other, much larger, blond.

Björn puffed, pleased to be able to be helpful or needed by the small General. "You will have a challenge making a uniform that looks good on everyone." He wasn't sure about looking good at his own size in anything that the pretty things that shopped at malls looked good in. The whole leggings and sweater dresses were just not meant for strongmen. Not that he'd disobey the job requirements, since it was for Alex...Benitoite. For the good of the Negaverse, he could weather a lot of embarrassment. "If the two are helping you, they will be employees as well? " Then there was a chance of maybe meeting and learning more out of uniform? It was terrifying and exciting. More integrated than any experience he'd had even to that point. As Titan, he'd been to a couple larger operations, but he'd still been fairly isolated- other than Obsidian and Wolframite...he didn't really know anyone. He talked to Buddy at least more than the one time. Everyone else was little more than by sight. He couldn't really even remember their names anymore, it had been enough months. I think I know Ida better than I know most other Lieutenants. How sad."Just let me know where and when to apply, and I'm yours. "

"Style wise - yes. But color wise I think a black, or white, shirt and light colored pants will work for everyone. Something neutral and without color, as some colors don't work well for some people." That would likely be the best option but as for style....something like a polo shirt perhaps? A polo shirt and khaki pants might do the trick really. His real issue would likely be in finding clothing to fit the other, or for Björn to find something which fit the uniform idea which would fit. The man, teenager he reminded himself, was huge.
"Now that I'm thinking about it perhaps just a polo shirt, short sleeved, and khaki pants. I'm not certain on a shirt color. But that's fairly neutral and should work on anyone." At least he thought so. It might not suit all personalities and personal styles but it should work otherwise. This was one area where he couldn't please everyone; as much as he liked to be accommodating.
"Something of the sort. While I'll be the owner and everything has to be ok'd by me they will be...like advisers. They'll be helping me with decisions and getting things I need. So yes, they will be, but not in the same way you and everyone else will be. They'll be able to answer questions and help everyone though."
Smiling at the big man's words he nodded his head. "Of course, and thank you. Once I hire everyone Buddingtonite will be hosting a tea tasting, so everyone is familiar with the blends we'll have, so that will be right before the shop opens." Not knowing if the strongman knew the red haired man. "That's his part in this, as well as part of the business end, flavors. He owns a candy shop and has a good sense of taste so I'm putting it to use." Buddingtonite might not work in teas, and candy was far from tea, but he was trusting the red haired man with this aspect of things.
As he talked about these plans, more and more, and set things up he was becoming more and more excited for it all. On the flip side he was becoming nervous over how well it would all turn out, he had a lot riding on this.

Mention of Buddingtonite was itself enough to get a firm-fixed smile. "Buddy! I have not seen him in too long. He helped put worry away when I was new. A good, light touched commander. " "Both of you together. ..I can't see it go wrong. " The big guy basked in the news for a moment. I will get to work with both Alex and Buddy! It brought to mind suggestions from some other time, ones that had been equally exciting. " Is it possible to patrol with you still? Maybe you are too busy. .."

So the other knew Buddingtonite, well that was good. Smiling he nodded his head. "Yes, he is helping with the business end of things, as well as flavors." he added with a bright smile.
"I'm glad to know you've met him and that he helped you feel more at ease. he does have a rather easy to get along with personality." Although the other was also not to be taken lightly in a fight. Then again were any of them to be taken lightly in a fight? Maybe a few - new members. For the most part though he was sure most members of the Negaverse weren't the sort to be taken lightly in a fight.
"Of course! Whenever you'd like. I try and get out, even if for only a short while, every night. So whatever night you'd like you can give me a call and we'll go out." While his fellow blond was much larger than him Benitoite knew he might wind up, if a fight ever broke out, protecting the other. It was a sort of...odd feeling the idea of potentially protecting someone so much larger and stronger looking than he was. But he also doubted anyone would be willing to fight the long haired blond at his side. "Do you have anything you'd like to work on or learn when we go out?"

Generals must know everyone. Maybe it is a part of their job. They do have to command everyone. Do they have to sit down with folders and photos and learn new recruits? His ideas of what Generals did or didn't do was certain to be skewed- Benitoite seemed nothing like Obsidian. Alex was nothing like Andrew. Alex seemed a good deal more adjusted. "Tracking? I get a lot of sparring, but not so much field...exercise. Only what I manage while out myself. " The strongman stepped down from the treadmill and waited beside where Alex was, leaning against the wall. "Were you going to try any weights today? I could spot for you." Sleet Tempest Snape Do you want to close it on yours?

"Tracking sounds good. Tracking senshi and knights?" he questioned as he stopped what he was doing and climbed off in order to look at the other. "I'm sure your good at sparring. I don't practice it outside of actual fights; so I suppose it's not really sparring." He wasn't much to fight as a civilian so he didn't do fighting. He did fighting when powered up where he stood a good chance of winning, or inflicting serious damage.
"I'll take you out and we can do whatever you'd like. We can make it several nights even, whenever you'd like." He offered with a bright smile before nodding his head slowly. "I wouldn't mind. I should work more with weights actually." he admitted softly. He should be doing a lot more actually.
Nodding his head in the direction of the weights he made his way that way. "Come, lets get some weights in and I'll do my best to help you with them also..." Though he seriously doubted he could spot for the other honestly. Not with what the other would surely be lifting.
