Casting Time READ ME I understand some of you have real lives to attend to, so this thread will remain open to profiles for the next two weeks. In the quote below, are fourteen available character slots; however, only the ‘Members’ (either The Greenhouse or The Clock Tower) and 'Supporting Cast' slots are up for grabs. These roles are first come, first serve. Remember, players can create up to four profiles at this time. If all the slots haven’t been filled, I will allow players to create a third - or even a fourth - profile. ‘The Watchman’ must be applied for. If you are applying for this role, keep in mind that your character will have some sort of history with Zedd. (Whatever that entails, I will play off the bread crumbs left behind; I hope the selected player will do the same.) I will take what is posted after the two weeks are up and deliberate which profile best suits the role. After my selection, I will contact the player; at this time they may choose to keep original moniker or go with a new one. UPDATE 03/12/2014: Don't feel bad if your profile wasn't selected; your character still has a part to play and will become a member of the firm indicated on their profile. If it isn't enough, then I understand if you decide to retract your profiles and drop the roleplay.The ‘Mystery Role’ will be offered to players (with multiple profiles) whom I feel can handle the role. I will PM said players, all at once, to see if any are willing to take it on. If I receive several responses in regards to accepting the task, I will deliberate whom is best suited for it; if no one is willing, I will take on the role myself (which I hope won't be the case). After the decision has been made, the Mystery Role’s Status will be 'Filled'. I will not state who got the role; by the same token, whomever I select should not mention they got it either. After looking over the openings, please use the form in second post and submit your profiles to this thread. READ ME You will notice that I’ve omitted ‘History/Backstory’, ‘Weapons/Tools’, and ‘Miscellaneous/Other’. Aside from the obvious, characters should be presented as puzzle pieces (the way strangers are when meeting for the first time). (Not to say that our characters are strangers to one another; we as players/readers are meeting them for the first time.) As the role-play progresses, we sprinkle that information in along the way; only then will the puzzle will be complete. As far as character names go, I chose to leave my characters’ real names out for now. So, it’s up to you whether you want to go with your character’s real name or a moniker.  That is how she normally looks in the guild. knee length skirt with a red top. the kind of top that has the fluffy sleeves that stop at the elbow and have a frilly kind of neck and has buttons down the front. Other than you can find out more later. Her eyes are an icy blue. Blood red hair, which is where the nickname comes from. Firm:
The Clock Tower Skill Set:
1. throwing knife expert and skilled in their use in close combat. Has hidden daggers in her assassin's outfit and all over her body. Usually always armed even in causal clothes. No one can usually tell though. She does have more than just daggers and throwing knives. She also carries a scimitar for those actually skilled in the use of blades. Even though she's really good in the use of her knives. Her blade-work with her scimitar could be said to even look like an art as she cuts up her opponent.
2. Her second skill is being a master of stealth. Most anyone would not b able to notice her until it was already too late. Starting Location:

UPDATE: There are 9-10 more days before we begin the roleplay, so if you'd like to make changes to any profiles you've already submitted please feel free to do so. If I've already added your profiles to the Casting List, give me the heads up if you've made any changes so I can update them.

Hey there, fellow Guildies,
Here at the 'Where The Poppies Grow' forum, I've been tightening those bolts, screwing in the last of the light bulbs, and polishing fixtures to a high shine; meanwhile, players have expressed their interest and submitted a few profiles. But fear not, there's still a week left before I kick this thing into high gear, and I'm calling all players to hop this train with me. There's ample seating (roles), so come on board and submit a profile or two!
* 'Members' and 'Supporting Cast' roles are still open to any takers!
*The Watchman is still waiting for the 'Chosen One', so take a chance and apply! Interested players have until 03/21/2014 to submit a character profile, with 'The Watchman' indicated alongside "Role applying for:". Who knows? You might get lucky.
*Aside from The Watchman, the Mystery Role is still waiting for someone to fill its shoes (which I believe to be bigger than The Watchman's). It's a very important role, I afraid, and not just anyone can apply. On 03/21/2014, I will offer this role to players [of my choosing], who have submitted a minimum of two profiles. The players have 12 hours to respond whether or not they accept. If more than one player accepts, I will spend deliberating who suits the role best; otherwise, I will take on the role myself.

I just wanted to clarify that I live in a different time zone from most of you (that means I'm like a day ahead); so when I said due date for 'The Watchman' is 03/21/2014, it's actually 03/20/2014 for you.
