- Well, by now you've probably all read that our beloved Bionic Pikachu has decided to step down as Captain of the guild and has given the role and responsibilities to me. This announcement isn't to talk about that, but for me to... well announce some things.
First order of business:
- There are several members in the guild who have yet to make characters and post. Now you all should be reading this, so I expect to see some new character profiles up and ready to be accepted within next week: March 9 - 15. If I don't see any from those of you who haven't made at least one character yet, or at least hear from you, you will be kicked from the guild. I want active members, not people who just join and rot.
Second:
- As of right now I have heard that the characters Sam Winchester and Bobby Singer have been spoken for after Bionic's leave. This still leaves Caroline open and waiting. If anyone is interested in taking her, please contact me. Alternatively, If you know anyone outside the guild who would like to join and take her (or join at all), please feel free to turn them towards the guild.
Third:
- I'm going to start asking for post samples from anyone who has yet to post in the guild and from all new members. (Those of you who have already posted, don't worry about sending me a sample, I've obviously seen how you post already.) I should not have to remind people that this guild is semi-to-advanced literate. This includes that you know how to speak English, use at least decent grammar, and know how to make complete sentences and use proper punctuation.
Plots:
- There are a few plots in mind for the Guild. They include; A certain few characters coming back from the dead, Demons, A Croatoan Virus, and hundreds of ghosts suddenly appearing and causing havok.
Contests:
- Yes, glorious, fun, amazing contests! A few being considered are; Character of The Month, Couple of The Month, Team of The Month, and even a dice game.
Also, my apologies for not doing the Gabe Hunt this week, I wasn't feeling well, which brings me to my next issue;
Guild Crew:
- I simply can not contain everyone's amazing craziness at the same time. I will be looking for help. If anyone is interested, please contact me and tell me why you feel you should be part of the crew. Once I get these contests up, I'm definitely going to want someone who can keep track of them and run them for me. However, please note that if you do take that job, you are automatically disqualified from game contests.
New Series:
- Not yet, but soon I will be adding a new series to the guild that you guys can create your own characters or take canons from to mix into our crossover universe. Series that are being considered so far are; The Dresden Files, Being Human, The Secret Circle, and The Crow. A few others are being thought of, but not considered just yet. There will be a vote once I feel the time is right to bring in another series to the mix.
Guild Chat:
- The easiest way to discuss things with me is to simply instant message me through Skype, AIM, Yahoo, or MSN. A few of you have already taken to it and I appreciate it greatly as I don't always see that I have PMs waiting for me.
There is a Skype chat room for the guild for those interested, and I will be more than willing to add you to it. Message me your Skype names and I will add you.
Alternatively, You may have noticed a new tab to the guild in the top navigation! I have made a Guild Chat Room hosted on gaia itself, available download-free for any OS to handle. It's permanent! It's web-based! It's here forever, feel free to use it! That's what I bought it for! I'll try and keep myself in this chat room in case anyone needs to talk directly to me.
This is really all I have to say right now, but don't you guys worry. If something big comes up, you're all going to hear about it.
