1. Friendship
Hedge was running around playing a exciting game of tag with his Hedgie through his big sisters yard when one of them misteped on the stone fence it was on and fell off on the wrong side that side of the fence was a steep hill that led to a fast moving river

Hedge heard the noisy squeel and the loud spash instantly reconizing it he was up and in his Human form before anybody could blink over the fence he went and into the river he dove his sister watching nervously from the wall after a few long minutes he returned cold and wet with a shivering hedgie in his arms he was cut up a bit mostly from the hedgies razor sharp spikes but over all was reletively unharmed

His sister helped him and the hedgie up and over the wall the hedgie was cold and had a sprained ankle but over all was fine in no small part to Hedge she wraps him in a blanket even though she knew he was a ghost and probably didn't feel the cold as much as she would and gave him something hot to drink after everybody was tended to Emmie sits down next to Hedge and asks him a question which she already knew the answer of "Hedge why did you react so quickly to save that hedgie?" he asks he looks at her and smiles with the hedgie curled happily in his lap he says "Friendship is important to me heh you know that Emmie"

3. Death
Memories that Hedge will never touch memories of his life as a mini of his family, friends, and his last hours all illude him and while he is frequently tormented by a fragment of his last hours he will never know the truth of what really happened this truth

It had been a fierce exhusting battle for both sides Knightly Reaper and Minipet fought side by side and their opponent a vendetta seeking Hunter who held a grudge because of a accident the Knightly Reaper caused long ago which took someone important away from the Hunter the Knightly Reaper had paid his debts and appologized to no end but the only justice the now maddened hunter could see would be the Knightly Reapers elimination and all those he cared about as well as the elimination of all halloween creatures

The Hunter had lured the pare into a deadly trap in the human word one where reforming wasn't a option so it was a battle to the death and while each side fought with all their might the Knightly Reaper finally fell Hedgie had run over to him and even though he knew the reaper couldn't understand him begged for his friend to stay but the reaper was dissapating slowly there was no coming back for him finally accepting this fact and giving into the truth that spoke of his downfall next Hedgie backed away and waited for his end

The demented Hunter was happy to oblige and raised his weapon to strike the final blow when finally he was ready he released the omionous spiked ball at Hedge who waited for the end until he heard something familiar

Leon Larbright as the Knightly Reaper called him bestowing the honor of his last name to the mini was whispered from weak lips instead of meeting his end in that moment Hedge dodged the spiked ball just intime he ran over to his dying friend who smiled warmly at him "This is not... not truely your end m-my friend... but it is mine..." the Knightly Reaper says weakly before putting his hand softly on Hedges head most of the lower half of the reaper was gone and the rest continued to dissapate but the reaper suddenly glowed softly as did Hedge and suddenly Hedge felt a power the like he never had before he never knew there could be so much fear in the world as what was streaming into him when the glow finally faded on both Reaper and Minipet the dissapation became much more rapid within seconds most of the Knightly Reaper was gone but he had enough energy to make two last requests "End his madness Leon... It has consumed him and he will not rest till he has destroyed all of Halloween... Save him from his madness... and save Halloween from his madness..." The dissapating Reaper says pausing to cough as most of him was already gone he looks into Hedges eyes and see's the swirl of sadness in them and speaks one last time "...seek not revenge for me little one... seek... to... protect..." he spoke weakly before finally the last of him dissapated forever

Hedge was struck still by his friends last words but was empowered by them the Hunter who at first was angered he missed his mark but then amused as he listened and watched the exchange snearing cruelly once the Knightly Reaper dissapated fully he makes a snide comment and raises his weapon once more to finish the job Hedge who was mouring his friend ignored the cruel hunter until he heard the swish of the weapon flying through the air he dodges out of the way then with sadness and deturmination in his eyes attacks the hunter with surprising strength the Hunter was completely thrown off guard by this and sustained heavy damage but managed to return the favor The battle continued on

Empowered by his friends FEAR Hedge was actually not only doing damage but dealing decent damage to the exhusted Hunter but he too was taking damage and before long it came down to one final blow Hedge lunges the Hunter swings Hedge dealt the final blow to the hunter but met his final blow shortly after the Hunter cried out in fury and pain as he fell to the ground Hedge was knocked a few feet away and couldn't move the hunter cursed and bemoaned his fate till finally he went silent Hedge was dissapating slowly just as his friend had but he wasn't sad or scared anymore infact the tears that now flowed from his eyes were happy ones he had done as his friend asked he had freed the Hunter from his madness and did so to help him not out of revenge he was still sad and still felt bad that he couldn't protect his friend but his heart was gladened by his victory and so with a light heart he closes his eyes and all goes silent

5. Family
Ask Leon 'Kyou' Heartsong (Known as Hedge by most) What family is to him and you will a clear response

Hedge being a Ghost doesn't remember his life before he was brought to Halloween but he knows he was a Noise Hedgie one that probably was born around others of his kind but he feels in his heart that they even if they were his birth family wasn't his family

Hedge knows about a 'someone' a person he even to this day will get sad over if he thinks about them however he knows not exactly what they look like or what their name is but he knows in his heart that this person was a cherished friend and one of his closest family members

His sister a bright, kind, gentle pink haired grim reaper who brought him to halloween and later adopted him and cared for him he would protect her to his last ghostly breath and knows she'd do the same

His Minipets while he technically isn't a out right minipet anymore they mean as much to him now as he feels they did when he was a minipet and they are as much apart of his family as anybody

His real, best, and true friends are cherished and as much apart of his family as anybody would be

If you asked Hedge what he thought a family was he say "Family are those you cherish and those who cherish you in turn anybody can be family no matter what specie they are and blood means little if they do not care for you family is who means the most to you"
