Year 25XX A.D.Poisonous air has forced humankind to seek shelter in Regios, large walking cities covered by a dome built specifically to protect their inhabitants from contaminated air and dangerous creatures known as Contaminoids. These beings were mutated by the poisoned atmosphere and are vicious creatures that prey on humans. Though alone they can be dealt with, nests and groups of them are a real threat that forces the Regios to be constantly on the move to avoid them. Though mankind is surviving, they are doing just that: cowering behind a energy dome as refugees on a never ending journey to escape from the hungry Contaminoids. Few have stepped out of the Regios they were born in, deciding to live in a sense of false security provided by platoons of Martial Artists, warriors trained by the Regios to defend against any Contaminoid threats and compete with other Regios for resources. For many, that was enough, but the more perceptive ones have noticed some changes in the latest years. The Crime Rate of the once peaceful Regios have gone up. The nature of the crimes have also changed, taking a more violent turn. That, combined with the decrease of resources the Regios is suffering from after numerous consecutive losses in Flag battles, have brought on an atmosphere of unrest that is mimicked throughout all minor Regios. The strong would keep amassing riches while the weaker walking cities would be constantly losing resources and manpower. In addition to that, unusual sightings have been reported. Some electronic spirits have turned hostile towards mankind. The change could occur overnight, one day they would be friendly and, the next, they would be chasing down victims in broad daylight. Considering the importance of electronic spirits, this was a matter of great importance. Quote: As part of an expedition sent to visit Sheniebel, the womb of Electronic Fairies, you and your traveling companions are about to bite more than you can chew. "Newborn Electronic Fairies, the pride of Sheniebel, are dwindling in number, something attributed to Fairy Hunter activities that are on the rise as well. " I'm thinking of making this something the RPers learn when traveling to SheniebelSTART IN GANDOWERIA

Feiyimei Information about settings/story to try and hook RPer's attention The poisonous air has forced humankind to seek shelter in Regios, large walking cities covered by a dome built specifically to protect their inhabitants from contaminated air and dangerous creatures mutated by the atmosphere also known as Contaminoids. Year 25XX A.D.SheniebelThough mankind is surviving, they are just that: refugees cowering behind a glass dome on a never ending journey to escape from the hungry Contaminoids. Few have stepped out of the Regios they were born in, deciding to live in a sense of false security provided by platoons of Martial Artists, warriors trained by the Regios to defend against any Contaminoid threats and compete with other Regios for resources. In addition to that, unusual sightings have been reported. [Phantoms, blah blah blah] seems good, though do you want to have it in a different city than Sheniebel or should we actually start where everything is going wrong? Either works for me but I just wanted to double check with you. Seems like it would be easier to explain from Sheniebel rather than having to risk running into a contaminoid ((filth beast)) on the way to the source of the problem. the reason i darkened Glass is because it is a type of energy barrier membrane that filters the air. It is very strong like a glass but it is self regenerating when attacked by contaminoids or Martial Artists during flag battles http://csr.wikia.com/wiki/Regios

If we dont' start in Shen, then we'll have to come up with an excuse/story to bring the OCs there and plan some event for the trip there. It could be a training/tutorial combat thing. i personally don't really mind both. Quote: the reason i darkened Glass is because it is a type of energy barrier membrane that filters the air. Which in turn, sends them to Sheniebel. Sorry about that, I was unsure of how you would want to edit the post and was not wanting to ruin the work of someone who is a better writer.

Or is the dead city another one, possibly an original city that Rpers can help build? I think I missed something.

I was talking about one of the other cities being rebuilt, or we could just pick one of the others like Zuellni. The city I was talking about reviving is Gandoweria. Though any city would do except Glendan because it is just overpowered.

Phantom Beasts have been spotted everywhere, right? surprised And 1st event would be reports stating that they came from Zuellni so that would be why people from Gandoweria are sent to Z to investigate. Would it be an official mission or a more clandestine one, using stealth? surprised Also, if we start in Gandoweria, i'm gonna have to think of writing something for that city as intro xD cuz so far, it sounds as though we're starting in Z.

They are spreading out so it would be everywhere within a distance. I was thinking it an unexplained source but it could be said that we are in Zuellni and things are going wrong around us... Which do you think would be easier? Slow problem getting worse? Or suddenly finding out from a distance and being the first to be able to respond? We could go with that the message arrived late and the city would be the first to receive the message being closest though I rather wanted the problem to 'reveal' itself as we went along. Anything is possible though, I could go with just about any structure and run the idea. Profiling the enemies and characters is often my biggest challenge as enemies either come out confusing by story or overpowered, or characters seem lost to the flow of the RP.

Characters could be newbies being sent to Z for an educational field trip and then crap hits the fan with their guide/instructors/supervisors being put out of commission and leaving them to fend for themselves in a 'bad part of town' where there's a phantom outbreak. Or they can be sent to investigate, they would then be just a tad bit more prepared but still kept int he dark as to wtf is going on. The true causes can then be revealed slowly with odd events sprinkled here and there razz

Keeping them in the dark for a while though could still be possible as they end up becoming residents of Z and have to deal with all the spirit thieves, muggers and just about everything illegal or out to kill them including contaminoids. Would it be possible to take the start from the field trip and add on the ending of the investigators?

If so, then that would be great. I was thinking that they may be martial artists sent to Z (or even scholars, up to you). Once they arrive, they notice something odd is happening. As things get dangerous, they're escape route (maybe the car thingy that brought them over or their previous city is put in lockdown) is cut off so they're stuck in Z. And Z doesn't want to feed without compensation so they are forced to work for Zuellni. We then throw a bunch of shenanigans at them to reveal the plot. woot!

That was what i meant by ending, sorry to be confusing. I absolutely love the lock down for the roaming bus and force work for the city, though now I wonder, what would have martial artists going to the city? once that is done we will be finished with the plot line So we have an enemy list of 4, Contaminoids, rival cities, a black market of mafia from spirit thieves to Overload smugglers, and Phantom Beasts. We have a plot line to follow and work around so that free roam can be allowed and still reach the ending. There is also the amount of work to be done on storyline fittings and balancing the combat, I should be able to finish that myself though I was hoping to get in some fights with players in Multiverse to get a feeling for the basics of the combat so simplifying it could be easier.

Maybe they were trying to build some diplomatic ties or alliance between both cities. I assume martial artists are sort of like officers if they are ranked high enough. Or maybe it's some sort of 'foreign exchange' program so that martial artists can learn new fighting styles in new city. Multiverse is shutting down. the Guild captain no longer cares about it. I've lost interest in it since no one was posting. Moonlight is probably the only one interested in the guild, but both of us have been demoted to normal member so...meh.

Well that sucks.. I was one post from leveling up and getting to use my magic...Something I thought was hard to follow was switching between areas for rolls and all the work just to keep up with things your character did or could do including continuous effects. How best would you suggest I rectify that? On another note though would it be at all possible to invite Moonlight here to talk with about battle systems? It would give you more time to do whatever you want to do and me and moonlight a chance to continue what was once a legacy.

It wouldn't be far fetched for martial artist to need some theory classes ;P We could always just keep rolls within the same thread. I had made a different thread for rolls only in case a post needed more than 1 thing rolled. The current gaia system only allows us to roll the same way but multiple times =/ As for how to keep track of it, well, I don't see any other way than add something like "Post 1/4 for ________ spell" unless we make it so that all spells only last 1 post or have unlimited duration. I don't mind if you invite Moonlight. This is your guild now so you can pick whoever you want as crew or member razz
