User Image Like she promised, she had brought him to a land filled with prey. After a few good time walking across the land, mostly in silence. The morning escaping them and now going in to the night where their kind normally would feast. She brought him upon a bunch of sleeping prey beasts area. From wildebeests to gazelle. All in for the night. Some standing, some sitting.

A bright and rather large grin made her ever so proud of her perceptional skills. "Like I promised. Food to your heart's content." Her tail softly padding away. "But we should hurry. By tomorrow's sun break- all of them will be gone. Further away than you could imagen.... their pack is a special one." Even slightly sacred. She knew how to track them, and know of them- one could only feed from their kind once every three month and it was for the older ones that could be hunted.

"But their are rules. Rules that shouldn't be broken... that is why they are so special. These beasts are rare and far between. The most delicious meat your maw will ever to happen upon. To abuse them, you will be cursed." Looking over at him with that alluring look, it was just about her time to also eat some of the delicious meat, but she would first watch and see what this hyena would do. For if he would happen upon the curse- she would not be involved. Parts of her wanted him to heed her words, while the other part of her wanted to see what the curse would do to such a troubled looking soul.

I can knock out solos too~ but maybe develop them more to our plot, and doing rps would be nice?

User Image Waasi wasn't sure why he was following this female. She'd already tricked him during their first encounter, and if he weren't so stubborn he'd have left long before now. But she had this strange air about her...perhaps it was her bone reading that sucked him in, or the mysterious way she spoke. Her promise of a herd unlike any other kept him along, although he regarded her with suspicion.

He was skeptical of her claims, but when they came to the top of a small hill at night and the smells hit him, he knew she wasn't lying. There were all kinds of animals down there, some he never thought would travel with others. They were all completely at peace, too, even though a herd this size surely would attract a lot of predators. He let out a slow breath, blue eyes tracking the movement of a few of the antelope that were awake and walking slowly to the rest of the group of animals.

"Cursed?" he questioned, glaring at Mongra in the darkness. Her red eyes were terrifying with the way they glowed, his own icy and cold. "What are the rules, then?" He wasn't going to play dumb twice. She knew what she was talking about, even if he didn't always understand how she knew what she knew.

User ImageShe was in overview sight of the herd. She knew well of them. Her ears went back as she watched the herd. They were so peaceful, and wished one day the predator god would do the same, but he was not as tender as his prey brotherin, she was sure. Noting that she could eat this month, she looked to the side. Her smile was sultry and filled with mystery and well in fact very pretty for once.

"Yes. Cursed." Then looked back at the herd. "Every month, the oldest of the group become vulerable to predators while the others stay protected. Once a month. Oh and they can tell... they can tell....when you eat more than your fill." The smile slowly disappeared as she looked on. "I'm sure you weren't planning on eating a youth... oh no. That is the future of the pride. But to take an elder, that would be fine, as their time soon closes near. Understand? Oh... and you should try not to be seen, and know its hard because of your pelt..even talking to them- saying you are a reaper would help them not put up a fight, the meat will stay tender. An important rule- would be not to kill them where you find them... you must lead them astray from the pack so their families do not suffer.." Looking back at him, his eyes- looked so marvelous, and she finally saw him- and really looked at him. A fine beast, one could mistaken him as a ghost. Which would be prefect for what they were trying to achieve.

"I would pick something more your size, an animal that you can eat entirely and not leave any behind. That would please them more. You take more. There are repercussions, and as long as you follow those rules....." Tossing her gaze away, almost to look 'shy' but it didn't suit her well. "You will be fine."

Then she stood up and started heading around the cliff they were in. The ridges and ledges on the other side of the cliff proved more suitable for scaling. "Take only your fill...." Waiting for him to cross her side. Before she started scaling down the cliff. Quiet, and for being one with necklaces and chimes, she didn't make not one noise. It was as if- the air around her became stilled.. It was odd, these requests... these rules. But she had done it before- and to a T, she brought upon her tongue the most delicious meat she had ever tasted... and sharing, although not her fore-tay, she wanted to gain his trust. For.. Something more than just the mere greeting.

Waasi listened with a frown on his face. Never before had he heard of a pack willingly giving themselves to predators. All the animals looked incredibly healthy, and indeed, it seemed the only ones that were vulnerable aside from the extremely young were they extremely old. Perhaps there was some blessing over them from a god or goddess, granting them long lives at the expense of giving to the predators what had been given to them. He caught Mongra glancing at him and he returned her stare, although this time hers wasn't malicious and haughty as it had been before. Now it was a curious, almost delighted gaze. Interesting.

"Easy enough rules to follow," he said as she set off, following her trail. She moved incredibly silent for one so decorated, and Waasi followed suit, although he had no adornments to jingle and make a ruckus. His paws were silent as they climbed down the steep cliff, rocks and pebbles shifting slightly but staying put. He knew his pelt wasn't ideal for hunting, but he'd survived this far. Besides, the new tactic of simply asking a beast to come with him sounded interesting.

They reached the bottom of the cliff without event, and he moved to stand beside the larger female, bright eyes following the movement of the herd animals. "Take an older one, ask it to come with me, kill it out of sight, only what I can eat," he repeated, making sure he had all the rules. "Will you be taking one for yourself?" he asked after a moment. She had brought him this far, after all...and she hadn't killed him or poisoned him as she had cackled about earlier. Perhaps it would do him well to thank her by taking down enough for the both of them.
