~Yukihara Tanaka~

Rosita's Shoppe: The place Yukihara will find a dress, pair of high heels and some light jewelry all under a thousand dollars. Finding the items will be easy, but picking the right dress was going to be difficult. Its not like the place specializes in dresses and with the budget, her options will be limited. Before she stressed out about the dress too much, she led Salomon away from the pack of people in the sweater section to find the nearly empty area for dresses. The first set of dresses she saw were all meant for summer. They were nice but not something to wear for a casual lunch Linguini so she moved on to the dresses that looked more exquisite. Her dilemma came when she saw the evening dresses and the regular dresses that most women wear for the day. The regular dresses were the most appropriate for lunch, but the evening dresses were so much prettier. In the end, she had to sacrifice the evening dresses since they would eat up the budget pretty quick and started looking at some of the other dresses available. What happened with the regular dresses is that none of seem like they would fit her because the size of her chest is too big for them. In the end, only the summer dresses will fit, so she looked at a few summer dresses and found one she thought was decent before going to fitting room. It took a few minutes to get the dress on, but when she emerged from the fitting room, she showed off the dress to Salomon: pure white, thin straps and it flowed gently. She was not wearing the braces and boots like she was before, so a simple transformation from a rocker girl to innocent occurred here.

"What do you think? It wasn't my initial plan to get this dress, but I'm just thinking of your budget and what would fit me. Maybe I missed something but this was the closest thing I could find. I think a dress like this might only cost you less than 100 dollars in a place like this. The shoes I'm getting is around 60 dollars or less, and the jewelry just depends on which ones I get...hmm, maybe I should also get a hat."

Salomon followed the girl as she went about looking for a dress. He watched carefully which ones she looked at and even picked. He could tell that she kind of liked the evening dress, but left it for the other ones. Each dress didn't seem to fit her save for the summer ones. To the old man it was a pity. "Why don't you try that one on?" He asked pointing to the evening dress that she seemed to like. He didn't mind if she bought it, but if she didn't then that was her choice.

~Yukihara Tanaka~

Yukihara looked at the evening dress Salomon pointed towards. It definitely would be nicer to wear that dress and it just might be able to fit her if her chest doesn't get in the way. Sometimes it is a shame to be gifted with a bust size like hers in an occasion like this. If anything, it is at least worth a try to wear the dress to see if it will fit her, and if she will like the dress based on how good it looks on her. Taking the evening dress, she went into the fitting room and changed into it. Once again, the change took about a few minutes before she emerged and showed it off to Salomon. The innocent aura from the summer dress remained, but now there was a touch of elegance and grace with the new dress she wore and the outfit is not complete. There are still the shoes and jewelry that will just keep adding to that added grace and elegance, but Salomon should have a basic idea of what will come.

"I didn't think this dress would fit me but it does. Its hard to get clothes when these globs of fat get in the way...although I don't think you understand. Usually I am not a fan of blue, but somehow I like this shade of blue and I think it looks good...what do you think? Does it look good or am I just imagining things?"

Salomon looked at the girl as she came out of the room. A smile graced his lips. "You look lovely. The dress wouldn't be too hard to dress up or down for a lunch or an evening event." He told her with a grin.

~Yukihara Tanaka~

Current Outfit (Evening Dress)

Yukihara felt herself getting giddy from the inside, and it soon showed on the outside as she jumped and giggled a little bit, although she nearly tripped on her own dress because one of her jumps caused her feet to catch the dress. After removing the part of the dress caught by her feet from her feet, she looked at Salomon with a childish smile as she replied,

"Thank you. You know, you're not like those old people I read in my storybooks. All of them turned out to be grumpy for some reason, but you...you're actually nice...well we have the dress. I think I can still wear this as we pay for it so now let's just get some shoes and some other stylish stuff."

She went back into the dressing room for a moment just to stuff her rocker clothes into her guitar case with the exception of her boots. She had to carry them by hand as she stepped out the dressing room with the guitar case slung on her right shoulder. Shopping for shoes didn't take too long since all she needed was a pair of white high heels to go with the dress. Blue would have been nice but the only blue heels that were available were baby blue, a color that she is not particularly fond of. The white heels she found wrapped gently around her feet all the way to ankles and gave her about an inch or two of extra height. The last stop they made was at the jewelry section, and with plenty of money left for the thousand dollar budget, she decided to go all out in the jewelry: diamond earrings, two gold bracelets on her left wrist and one diamond bracelet on her right wrist. Her outfit is now complete, the total amount the items accumulated to $550.

"I think I'm all done shopping. I guess I left you plenty to spare for lunch. I can't say I have the best fashion sense in the world but at least I'm not overdoing it like some people I notice on the streets...it does feel strange not to be in my usual clothes, but I hardly do go out...um, thank you for doing this for me Mister Salomon. Although we haven't ate yet, thank you for taking the time to shop with me."

Salomon could tell the girl was so excited that she nearly tripped in her dress. He was really drawn to this girl. She was youthful and happy unlike his nieces and nephews. It almost made him wish to adopt her, but there would be fighting when it came to that. "I'm glad you're happy." He answered her thinking of an idea. He would propose the idea later. "Go and grab your clothes. We'll pay for it at the front." The man told her before taking the tags and paying for the dress. He then followed her to get some jewelry and shoes. Once they were done he smiled at her in her beautiful outfit. "You're welcome. It brightens my heart to see you so happy. Are you ready to go to the restaurant?"

Current Outfit (Evening Dress)

The outfit was finally paid in full and if Yukihara had to comment on her own dress, it would come down to one word: different. It made her look like a sophisticated, mature lady versus her usual, rocker kid persona. Of course, the sophistication disappears whenever she gets giddy, but its still adorable to see someone get all excited in a dress. Now she can finally go eat the Linguini's restaurant and not have to worry about embarrassing Salomon and herself with her rocker clothes.

"Hehehe, yeah I'm ready to go. I can't wait to have me some pasta...aah, which should I get? Maybe something simple like Chicken Alfredo with fettuccine pasta? Or Pasta Rustica? Or...Or...Something fancy in Italian language that I can't understand! I don't know but lets get going!"

She started skipping for a second but nearly tripped again as she remembered that she was wearing heels, oddly not feeling embarrassed as people looked at her strangely because of her odd behavior.

"I don't think its a far walk from here but it still will take some time. Thank goodness its not too hot today or this dress would be unbearable. Can't say the same about my feet in these heels."

Leading the way out of the café and down the street, Lucianna chatted idly to Lyn and Donny. She was still in a brighter mood, and even waved to a few people whom she had come to recognize during her stay. Once they reached the clothing shop, Lucy opened the door and held it so that they could enter as well. Once inside, she grinned, gesturing the many racks and mannequins. "This is Rosita's. She's probably in the back but she'll come if you need her. Just call out." Still smiling, she glanced at her phone as it buzzed, letting her know that she had a new message. "It's Caesar." She explained, then summarized the text for both. "He's in town with Yvette's stuff and his family. Her phone is busy...she's probably talking to our father now...I guess I'll go pick him up and help his family get ready." Sliding the phone into her back pocket, she instructed, "Pick gorgeous dresses, Lyn. I am not going to this wedding looking ridiculous, you here? I'll go check out the revenues your mom suggested, and order some food for the guests. I'll text you the dress sizes of Caesar's little sister and myself, alright?" Once everything was squared away, she flashed a grin and disappeared from the shop to find the groom.

After being led to this clothing shop and hearing about Caesar's arrival, Lyndis nodded at each instruction given to her by Lucy. The girl may be younger than the trio, but she knew how to plan. Once the siren was gone, she turned to get another of the vastness of the room. The shopped looked so tiny from the outside...but it truly felt much larger inside. Her brow raised slightly, she walked over to the first set of dresses she saw, investigating their material and color. "These won't do." she mumbled, stepping past the rack and looking for a new style. Instinctively, she moved to take Donny's hand in order to lead the way further into the store, but the second her skin touched his she dropped her hand back to her side. "Let's um...what do you think of these?" she almost hid behind a section that held some more formal dresses, trying to avert his attention to their task. "How about blue, to represent the sea? Or green, for longevity?" She asked, holding up two dresses on their hangers so that he could inspect them. When her eyes fell on two other bright dresses, she hung the other two on the wrists of a nearby mannequin so that she could pull them from the rack as well. "Ohh, these are Vetty's favorite color. How about this one or that one?"

When Lyn nearly touch his hand Donny's heart skipped a beat, only to be crushed when she dropped it. He felt stupid. He was in love with her, but he could return to her. Not ever again. He was, for now, just her assistant. He looked at each dress as she held it up. He like the blue dress, but the idea of it on her was not favorable. The pink ones scared him a bit. "I want to see you in the green dress." He told her honestly. He was only thinking of how the dress would look on her and not the other girls.

Listening to Donny's reply without any distractions meant that his choice of words were not lost on her. She barely kept from commenting on it and did her best to ignore the heat in her face. "Okay." she said, hanging the other dresses back in their places before inspecting the green dress once more. Deciding that it was worth trying on, she picked out one in her size and looked around for the shop owner. After finding Rosita and being reassured that both Donny and herself were welcome to try on as many items of clothing as they pleased, Lyndis stepped into the dressing room. Removing her jeans and tank top, she stepped into the green dress. Thanks to the workout routine she had been forced to endure for her music video, Lyn managed to zip up the back of the dress herself. Letting out a sigh, she adjusted the material to more comfortably positions, realizing very quickly that it fit extremely well. Her only complaint was that she wasn't wearing a strapless bra, so the white stood out against the green and her skin. It wouldn't matter, she would just change before the wedding. Smiling to herself in front of the mirror, she considered the idea of just changing back into her casual outfit and stating that it fit...but Donny had said that he wanted to see her in the dress...that meant something, right? Or was she just "reading too far into things," as her mother so often said she did.

After taking a deep breath, she opened the door and peeked her head out. Realizing that a few other people were in the store, she refused to step out completely. She didn't want to draw any attention to herself, lest someone recognize her. "Pssst, Donny-" She whispered quickly to get his attention, motioning for him to come closer so she wouldn't have to leave the frame of the dressing room's door.

Donny was happy when she at least promised to try it on. She made her escape to the dressing room and Donny stood feet away and waited. It also seemed to take girl forever to try clothes on, but Donny had to female friends and knew to wait for them. His attention was only changed with a little girl ran past him. The man stepped back before turning back to the sound of Lyn's voice. It was clear she didn't like the people around her so the man moved closer. He opened up the dressing room enough to stick his own head in. He got a good eye full. If he hadn't tried so hard then he would have drooled. A blush crept across his face. "You look beautiful." He told her. "If they were still together he would have taken her home, ripped off the dress and made love with her. The man was a little worried about moving now. He didn't want Lyn to see below his waist.

Allowing a bubble of embarrassment to escape in the form of a small giggle, Lyndis flashed a smile. "I do try to." she said with false confidence. It took her several moments to remember to breath, but when she did she took a large gulp of air, her thoughts whirring quickly as she tried to decide what to say next. Thank you? I'm gunna' change now? Would you just talk to me? None of those statements would accomplish what she wanted to say. So she did what she knew was the only that would work. She spoke her mind. "You–you're an idiot, you know that?" She paused, her hands clutching the folds of her gown as she readied herself to continue speaking. Despite her excited tone, she was still whispering. "You screwed up! And I know that you know! But instead of just admitting it, you try to be some sort of self sacrificing hero!" She walked up to him, her expression set in determination as she pulled him into the dressing room so that she could close the door and ensure that nobody could see her. It would have been an amusing picture to some, a young woman dressed elegantly while poking the chest of a man in such a severe way. Still, once the door was shut properly, she faced the Angel again and continued to whisper fiercely. "Can't you understand? I never stopped caring, Abadon. I still love you." While she had not actually intended to say that last sentence, she made no move to diminish it. Lyn was prepared to live up to everything she said, just as her mother had taught her. In fact, it seemed as if during Donny's absence, she had finally come into many traits hidden in her personality.

Donny knew he was idiot. He was such a fool to let her go the first time. He was not going to get Lyn's hopes up, but at the same time he wanted to do everything she said. He was shocked when he was pulled into the dressing room. It was clear that she wanted to be alone with him. Then she said the words that he wanted to hear, yet he feared them just as much. "I know I'm an idiot. I can never make that up to you. Once I noticed what I was doing it was too late." He told her as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and held her close. "I went from the grief of losing my father to the grief of losing you. I couldn't face you. I was scared to face you. To fall back in love only to have you married to some other man or for me to just leave again." He continued.

He knew he would still have to leave again. He had to finish his goal. The man took his large hands and put a hand on each cheek. "I have one more thing I need to do before I can come back again. If you'll let me come back. Lyndis Sundersun-Caliu I love you." Donny told. His voice was a little loud and there were probably people who could hear them. The man leaned in and gave his ex a passionate kiss that she wouldn't soon forget. After a good seven seconds he let her free. "Just wait a little longer." He told her is a genle voice.

The only thing that kept Lyndis in place was the weight of Donny's arms against her. She knew that his father's absence had caused his depression The man had been his idol, and he had run away not only by himself, but his younger sister had been taken away in the process as well. His fears were valid, she knew, and she realized that she had to make him understand that she wasn't going to let their distance happen again. "No..." she said when he told her to wait again. Unlike him, she couldn't find the strength in her voice to speak about a soft whisper. "No, I can't. You have to let me in. Don't you get it? I can help you." While her muscles felt weaker, her expression remained solid as she continued, "I don't care what it is, Don. I will help you do whatever you need, but I will not watch you leave again." As if to add punctuation her statement, she kissed him, one hand clutching the hair at the nape of his neck as the other caressed his cheek. When she broke away, it just far enough for her to tell him, "Just let me in." She kissed him again, her actions more confident as she recalled this feeling and decided to test his limits.

Donny's assumption that people could probably hear him had been right. Luckily for the two in the fitting room, Lucianna had just returned to check up on things. After greeting Caesar and his family, she had texted Lyndis, just as she said would. However, after almost twenty minutes and no reply, Lucy had set the Valdez family up in her tower floor to get ready and gone to get answers. Now that she was in the shop, she had some. Sighing, she chose not to interrupt what was obviously going to happen eventually, and instead chose to help. In the spirit of her sister's wedding day and the idea of true love, she started whispering rumor's into the ears of every customer in the store. The Pack was staying in town overnight at the hotel." Of course, the group had retired years ago, but each any every person in that store left to find the former heartthrobs; even Rosita said that she "had better keep trouble from brewing." Laughing silently, the siren princess made one last sweep of the store and left as well, switching the sign to say "closed," upon her departure. Sure as she knew, those two would owe her one for a long time.
